1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Rainbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 13000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: March 09, 2026, 06:11:14 PM
I'm 3 points away from 4th place and now I'm not really sure that I still have chances to reach it. First I need to win my game and get positive results from other games. And if we end with same number of points, as I understand first tiebreaker thing is goal difference. With my +4 it will be difficult when guys above my have +6 and +9.
Anyway, got freebet from this round, which honestly was unexpected, but made my season a bit more positive.
2  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How much bitcoins can you collect from faucets per day? on: March 09, 2026, 06:01:05 PM
Maybe you remember that website called farmsatoshi and similar ones.

It was the first game I signed up to earn satoshis. Unfortunatelly, it didn't last for too long after I joined the website. It was free, anyway. Then there were a couple of websites later containing games where we could earn daily satoshis.

This one was great too!

There was also one which worked as a generator I remember waking up during the early morning to not waste a single minute of the generator's potential, but I don't remember the name (it paid quite decently). And there was another which displayed small monsters' icons on the screen, so if you were agile enough to click them before they disappeared (and they moved fast), you earned a large bonus.

They didn't last long, though, because they paid a lot for the industry's standards. The trick was to use those websites in the beginning, as faucet owners were testing the balance and sustainability. That was the moment when you could make superior profit.

I also got one once which didn't have timer and paid 100 satoshis for each claim, by just solving a simple captcha, although it lasted just for a day. Grin
Yeah, I remember these games like it was yesterday. Though, I didn't used these ones because I preferred more simple faucets which had just captcha. There was also good one called Bitcoin Aliens, though, now I don't remember exactly what you had to do to get money. Later they also released app for phone, it was some kind of game.

I've never watched Formula E and don't understand why you're saying this tournament now resembles F1. Oliver Bearman also criticized the new Formula 1 regulations today. I found an article where he said: "That’s not racing – that’s Formula E". To be honest, I don't see how F1 could be similar to Formula E now. Is it the number of overtakes or the battery management? If it’s not too much trouble, could you please clarify this?
Formula E is about extreme saving of battery. I haven't watched it for few years, but I remember that it was quite frequent thing that drivers didn't reached finish just because they run out of battery. Now in F1 drivers have to release throttle on straights earlier than they used to do or they take some corners 50km/h slower than it used to do. These things reflects on lap times when you compare 2025 and 2026 lap times. I guess it's not that fun to race when you have to think not just about racing.
For me who grow up watching F1 in V12 eara, it's difficult to accept these things.

Well....and just before the deadline I was bragging about data collection and now I'm stone last Cheesy

I really miss Superbru and I'm not saying this because of my result but my long-run data would have netted me a good amount of points on Superbru.
Time to adapt.....which is something I always struggle with!
You know what, I also did predictions on Superbru and done really bad, got just 9 points. So, Superbru and F1 madness is so much different things.

The cars seem to follow much easier each other and the gap that usually in Australia is very big was not the same between the 1st and 2nd car despite being the same car. I think that Mercedes has gotten clear the new regulations and I am afraid we are going to see a boring Championship once again, Ferrari is there yet not completely or not posing a threat to Mercedes, McLaren and Redbull are a bit further and the way battery is used by people is completely different, it is either winning you races or losing you races, I watched just to lap 18 then got bored and sleepy, it was 5 AM here from where I watch.
I have mixed feelings aboutthe race. At first it looks cool to see  so many overtakes, even after loosing position you can fight it back. But it's all about the battery and it's management - it has too big factor and now F1 starts to remind Formula E.
Mercedes advantage doesn't looks that big as it looked in qualifying. While Max did big thing again from the bottom to P6. But one thing doesn't changes - it's Ferrari strategy and how they didn't made free pitstop during VSC.
Not that much to wait until 2nd race - Chinese GP is upcoming weekend and we will have first sprint race of the season.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2025/26 on: March 08, 2026, 04:57:31 PM
In a game (Braga vs Sporting) with a lot of controversy, as one would expect from the Portuguese league, the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
Now, if Benfica beats Porto, the championship will be completely back in the running.
I wasn't able to see full game, saw goals only. But when you see penalty awarded on 90+6 minute it always sounds contraversial. When I saw 2.00 odds for Sporting I couldn't resist from betting and offcourse I got burned. Don't regret anyway.
Today's O Clasico, if Benfica will manage to win, probably they will return to title race and that would be interestingfor neutral spectator. But for me it's a bit wird that bookmakers is giving odds below 2.00 for Benfica win, I don't see reasons why they have favorite status.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🐳 Whale.io 🐳 Ligue 1 Football Pool Discussion Thread 2025/2026 🐳 on: March 07, 2026, 11:23:37 PM
Lens will beat Metz tomorrow, it's hard to expect a different outcome against a team from last place, right? And PSG and Lens will be separated by just one point. There's still a chance PSG will lose the title.
There are nine games left. The shorter the distance, the higher the randomness. A bet on Lance's title with 10x odds looks increasingly attractive.
I'm sceptical about Lens - once they faced more decent opponents like Monaco or Strasbourg, they dropped points two games in a row. On the other hand, they have quite good remaining calendar and if they will manage not to drop points again (or they will get more gifts from PSG), their remaining game with PSG will becrucial. Anyway, even if they won't win league, big respect for Lens for making this season so interesting.

Do you live in the USA? If you live in the USA, that’s very good. We need to draft a standard template for submitting an official offline statement to the FBI. Online letters don’t work
Nope, I'm not from USA.

If they have started the site again, at least someone from their side should announce here what the plan is. A few words from their side, I don't think it's too much of an effort.
Forget about it. They abandoned Bitcointalk long time ago

There are a number of sites that people can use to file a legal complaint against freebitco.in.

In general, we can use this site for cryptocurrency related crimes https://www.ic3.gov/
US people can use this site for filing frauds online https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/
Indian users can use this site for filing cyber crime complaints https://cybercrime.gov.in/
Thanks for the links, it looks that onlyfirst website can be used by international users who aren't based in specific country. But still, I'm very sceptical that you can achieve something with these reports.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ✅ b1eXch.to 🏁🏎️🏁 F1 MADNESS 🏁🏎️🏁 Discussion Thread! on: March 07, 2026, 11:08:41 PM
It doesn't looks at all that Max can become Bayern of F1 madness. More likely it can be Russel. In qualifying Mercedes were miles ahead from other teams. Offcourse, you can't say this about whole season just after one qualifying session.
What I didn't liked at all that drivers even on their fast lap in qualifying have to think about saving battery. If I would like such things, I would watch Formula E
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🐳 Whale.io 🐳 Ligue 1 Football Pool Discussion Thread 2025/2026 🐳 on: March 06, 2026, 11:35:29 PM
Oh, PSG, what's wrong with you? Another disappointing game and deserved loss. It's worst their season in Ligue 1 in recent seasons. But Ligue 1 is called farmers league not without a reason. They will win league even with such poor performance because there is no team who is capable to use all these gifts given by PSG. Lens is eventually getting out of fight, while other teams are just so far away to cause any danger
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 25/26 European basketball discussion: Euroleague/BBL/ACB/LegaA/LNB/TBL.. on: March 06, 2026, 11:18:03 PM
A bit disappointing Greek derby. In general, it was decided in 1st half. After halftime we already saw different face of PAO, but it wasn't enough. In 4th quarter Oly played so poorly, but Panathinaikos wasted all these gifts. Win in Greek cup now looks like exception because Olympiacos dominate completely in Greek derby.

Fenerbahçe cruised to an easy victory against Monaco by switching to training mode without breaking a sweat and making numerous rotations. Monaco actually played quite tough defense in this match, but Fenerbahçe's excellent offense and players who pulled rabbits out of hats easily overcame the tough defense. Saras is, in my opinion, the best coach in Europe. We saw this once again. He plays a great game with rotations in both defense and offense. Monaco may be experiencing an economic crisis, but this team was last year's finalist, so it's interesting how it ended up in this situation.
Looks that financial troubles isn't only problem for Monaco. When you see such things between teammates it's obvious that mood in their locker room is far from being good:
https://x.com/BasketNews_com/status/2029678757640818837
They're 10th now, but it will be surprise for me if they will end in Play-in zone. While Fenerbache players made gift for Saras on his 50th birthday. Damn, time flies so fast, it feels that he still was playing not so long time ago and now it's already 50th anniversary.

Yes, it's clearly evident and that is their plan. Time will pass by and people will stop following their updates.
People will forget and this is exactly what they want so that they can get away with people's funds.
As others have mentioned, filing a legal complaint against them is the only option left for people who still have their funds stuck on freebitco.in
I'm not really sure that's their plan. Don't really think that they care what their users thinking about current situation and it doesn't matters whether they follow situation on Freebitco.in. They managed hide their traces really well and this is probably why they don't give a shit about whole this situation.
Filling legal complaint - let's be honest, very little number of Freebitco.in  is going to do that. Don't know about others, but I have no clue where exactly to fill legal complaint and what jurisdiction is responsible for it. And I'm very sceptical  that's going to help, I just barely can remember examples when in similar situations it helped.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 06, 2026, 06:54:11 PM
As a Liverpool fan, it has been a pretty miserable season. Possibly the most annoying group of players I can remember and most irritating manager is about to win the league.

There is one thing that could give me a smile during the season and that is Spurs getting relegated haha. No matter how crap your team is, you can always count on Spurs to be worse Cheesy
I'm also not fan of Arsenal and their style of play and I see only positive thing if they will win EPL. I know some good guys who support Arsenal and most of them never saw their team winning EPL. They deserved to see it after all these years.
While Spurs, I had sympathy for this team maybe 15 years ago when they had players like Modric, Bale, Defoe, Robbie Keane, it was joy to watch them. But when you see team going in wrong direction eventually all sympathy is gone.
13  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How much bitcoins can you collect from faucets per day? on: March 06, 2026, 06:42:30 PM
In 2014-2016 faucets were more profitable, proportionally speaking, than nowadays. Everything changed after google adsense ban against faucets. Before the ban, faucet owners had a superior income from this network, so they could pay their users more generously. After the ban, they were left with cheap income from secondary ads companies, which aren't enough to make the faucets worthy for most users.

Neither the adoption of intrusive pop-ups and ads was enough to revert the situation, and that is why faucet industry lost relevance. Many users and faucet owners gave up, because it ended not being sustainable in a worthy way, neither fun for users to claim anymore.

In 2015 and 2016 I was able to make 100K satoshis daily, with little effort, by doing 2 daily runs through the most popular faucets of those times. Payments were instant to micro wallet, what was also a quite good aspect of it, while nowadays every faucets have internal thresholds, which take a long time to be met, and go completely against the concept of micro earnings.
Your post gave me flashbacks to good old days of faucets era. I also was earning nice amounts of money from faucets. First it was microwallet like Faucethub, then Faucethub which probably was best service in industry.
Faucets still were ok fro some time after Adsense ban, but eventually it was getting worse and worse. Popups, shortlinks, mining scripts in background - these things were making user experience worse, while payments also were going into lower direction. I left faucets completely shortly after Faucetub closed.
I was able to earn some nice money from faucets myself and with help from referrals and I don't regret at all that I used it despite that people always been saying that's waste of time

And now, two weeks later, Tottenham is just one point away from relegation, and I would say that Tottenham's dynamics are more negative than those of their competitors. Last year their 17th place finish looked like "they decided to win the Europa League" and it was a smart move, but this season... I don't see how that can be justified yet.
At Polymarket, Tottenham's chances of relegation are already estimated at 36% https://polymarket.com/event/epl-which-clubs-get-relegated
It's both funny and sad.
What looked like bad joke from Arsenal fans few years back now it's more similar to reality. Imagine Arsenal winning EPL and Spurs relegating in the same season. Not sure which thing Arsenal fans would celebrate more heavily Cheesy.
I know guy who bought tickets to Spurs - Wolves game in the end of April. Initially he was afraid that it will be boring game as Wolves will be already relegated. But seems that it might be one of crucial games for Spurs.
15  Other / Meta / Re: Wallet software addition proposal on: March 05, 2026, 05:37:19 PM
There are probably too many unnecessary child boards already under Wallet software. There are more popular wallets today than Wasabi, so I don’t think it needs its own, unless other popular wallets get one too. Even Trezor doesn’t have a child board and it just gets included under hardware wallets. Similarly, I think there could be a privacy wallet child board where Wasabi can be included along with Ginger, Ashigaru and a few others.
I agree. I have nothing against Wasabi, but I looked at their topic and in recent month there was just 3 posts made andall made by OP. I doubt it's enough for whole dedicated child board. In general, I don't think it would be right to have dedicated child boards for every different wallet. It's not that kind of stuff which is getting discussed that much.

Let's not underestimate how gullible some people can be on the internet, especially with their 'get rich quick' mentality. Tongue It's usually those who are new to Bitcoin (or crypto in general) that are most likely to fall for such scams.
I admit that I don't feel much sympathy for these people who fall into these scams. Yeah, I know I sound like old cynic. I also was newbie, same as everyone, but somehow I didn't fall into these scams because I didn't had get rich quick mentality. I don't to be smartass who is better than others, I just hate that peeople are feeding scammers and give away their hard earned money with easy hand and it looks that these things will never end.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 25/26 European basketball discussion: Euroleague/BBL/ACB/LegaA/LNB/TBL.. on: March 05, 2026, 05:12:57 PM
Euroleague is back in action today and main game of this round without any doubts is Greek derby between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos. And as you already know, few games were postponed because of conflict in the Middle East.

Ömer Faruk Yurtseven has left Panathinaikos and signed with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the Houston Rockets' Development League team. Ömer Faruk is currently 27 years old, not too old, but isn't he a bit old for the Development League?

I'm curious what qualities Houston saw in Ömer Faruk and how they acquired him for their Development League team. LeBron's son, Bronny, was also sent to the Los Angeles Development League team mid-season but returned shortly after. Can teams add players from this league to their roster during the season if needed?
Really strange move from Yurtseven. Not really sure that he can return to NBA through G League. Maybe only some trash minutes in meaningless games before playoffs While in Europe I think he can get decent contract in Europe.
And yeah, it's quite common thing that players travel multiple times between NBA and G league teams throughout the season.

I guess many of us asking various questions for AI, but it's not necessary to post these things here. Imagine if everyone would start posting their conversations with AI here. It's already too much AI stuff on Bitcointalk, don't make things worse.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2025/2026 on: March 04, 2026, 04:51:34 PM
Barca better win big in Copa, already up two goals so need two more; don't really care if they progress or not as they've got bigger fish to fry but I got some bets on them, not sure why I needed them riding on the outcome, haha. Why didn't I pick them Yes in BSFL?! Yamal, Lewie, own goals from Griezmann, just let it flow.

In all honestly, Barca are a joy to watch. They relied on Raphinha and an old Pole last season, leaning more on Yamal this one, I just wish they don't run their kids into the ground the way they do.

P.S. I am so behind on La Liga I'd only just noticed Celta and Villareal are both back in Europe spots. Pretty much a table I'd have put together at the start of the season.
It's sad to get eliminated when you were so close from making such huge comeback. But in general, I'm satisfied about team performance yesterday. And probably it's fair result, you have to play for whole 180 minutes, not just 90.
About Villarreal, it's not surprising to see them where they're now, though, it looked that Villarreal in La Liga and Champions league is two different teams. While Celta, I didn't saw them in Europeans spots. I guess it's not only achievment of their performance but also struggling usual contender like Athleticc or Real Sociedad also played role
