1601  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bounty SpotPlus with fake testimonials? on: September 11, 2023, 10:23:35 AM
The irony of having the username "BountyDetective", looking at his trust profile I guess his "detective skills" are probably only limited to bounty cheaters. nice find by the way, I've seen a lot of scam projects being posted on this board where the scammers use stock images on the internet.

Bounty detective should stop the bounty otherwise it can leads to some serious lost.
-snip
I'm afraid he won't do it, reading through his trust profile, it looks like this is not the first time he has managed a bounty campaign for a shady project.
1602  Other / Meta / Re: Please I keep getting logged out of the forum from my browser and don't know why on: September 11, 2023, 09:48:34 AM
So, please am I the only one experiencing the forum log out or it's general??
haven't experienced something like this before, even when I am using my mobile phone. just like Rikafip, I am curious what browser you are using and if you have tried using a different one. currently, I am using Google Chrome on my PC and Opera on my mobile phone and I haven't had the same issue as yours on both browsers.
1603  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit - be aware, i was lucky on: September 10, 2023, 04:25:06 PM
10-20x doing it on 1.01. If someone from rollbit see its as an abuse, then its an abuse. It probably depend on who is managing the casino. Lets just say its under new management and they noticed your account doing all these to rank up and get benefits.
"If someone from rollbit see its as an abuse, then its an abuse", That is a scary thing to say. I've done a lot of 1.01 bets and I'll be furious if they consider that as abuse and ban my account. what even is the point of having 1.01 odds on your games if you are going to ban them for using it? also, it doesn't matter if they use it to rank their account up, the gamblers that are doing that strategy basically risk losing their funds when doing it.
1604  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be careful!!! VITALIK BUTERIN'S ACCOUNT X WAS HACKED on: September 10, 2023, 01:43:49 PM
why do people not think before they act, I am not surprised that there are people who fell for the scam especially if they are new to cryptocurrency but for the love of god, this type of hack and scam has been happening and is well documented on the internet, especially in the crypto community, why can't people just do a bit of research or be more cautious, doing both of that would save them a lot of headache.

anway, looks like the tweet has been deleted now but I don't know if Vitalik has recovered his account back.
1605  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit Scam. Cannot Withdraw $30,211. Being Ignored by Support. on: September 10, 2023, 07:45:36 AM
why do i need to do all of this?

why cant at the very least rollbit return my deposits and we can go and dispute the winnings? this is literally a scam holding my winnings and especially deposit.
I am not sure if they have this rule on their ToS but I have read on some casinos ToS that in certain situations the casino will confiscate not only the gambler's winning but also the gambler's deposit as a compensation for the "damage" that the gambler's has caused(or something like that).

i have read they are not even licensed, is this true?
They are licensed, you can check it at the bottom of their website, and from the looks of it, their licensor is "gaming curacao"
1606  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Mixin Safe: A Convenient and Decentralized Multisig + MPC + Timelock solution on: September 08, 2023, 07:19:07 PM
So, from my point of view, going through the whole thing has been a bit tricky. Honestly, without a step-by-step guide or a video to show the ropes, I can totally see newbies running into a few issues. I get that the software is still in the testing phase, but I think they could make the whole process much smoother.

For example, when someone's making their first safe, they could set up a step-by-step wizard. It would walk them through everything and give a detailed explanation for each step.

As far as I have noticed, the biggest number of complaints is precisely the lack of instructions and somewhat weaker navigation. That was my conclusion, among other things. However, I have to agree with noormcs5, after some use of the application, it seems that everything is clear and simple.
The addition of info hints would make it much easier for newbies to use the platform.
Perhaps a video tutorial that can be easily viewed on their website would be a good idea to better guide newbies into using and navigating through the app/service. also, I just want to add that on their website they have something called "schedule a demo" From what I understand if you schedule a demo, one of their "professional Bitcoin wealth managers" will show you how to use "a completely decentralized custody suite to manage your Bitcoin.".
1607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jakarta is in a pollution emergency, Is it caused by crypto mining? on: September 08, 2023, 02:19:58 PM
Was there a study provided that crypto-mining in Indonesia is one of the leading causes of pollution in the country? I am pretty sure the only reason they thought that crypto-mining was one of the reasons why the pollution is bad in the country is because of the studies that were done on other countries.
1608  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚠️ Crypto.Games ⚠️ Account Closure and ~8.38 ETH Confiscated on: September 08, 2023, 01:08:55 PM
Quote
I firmly believe that providing such personal and private information goes against my rights and violates my privacy. Therefore, I have no intentions of giving in to these demands. Unfortunately, CG has made it clear that failure to provide the requested documents will result in the closure of my account and the confiscation of my funds (Current Balance: ~8.38 ETH).

     -   I'm sad that I read this for you, mate. I'm not sure if I understood correctly what you mean, despite the fact that you gave them so many documents with your billing statement. In the end, it's also disappointing whether they closed your account on their platform with your remaining account balances there.

In fact, that's a huge amount—8 more than Ethereum. What's not good about what they did is that they took the information they needed from you, and then nothing will benefit from what you want to happen. It's even better that from the beginning they rejected your account without asking for any important documents that you have, just like what happened before, your data privacy was stolen via your personal IDs, for what they did is very unfair. I hope they won't use it for bad purposes.
Read it again, especially the part that is highlighted. the OP completely did the opposite of what you are saying. he hasn't given and has refused to give any documents to crypto.games and has no plan of doing so. sadly it looks like this will be a dead end, OP has no plans of doing the KYC and crypto.games has no plan of releasing the fund without the OP doing the KYC.
1609  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔴Your Guide to Registering at ⚡ Vave.com ⚡ Crypto Casino 🔴 Free Spins*🔴 on: September 07, 2023, 02:16:04 PM
I have the feeling that you care more about this situation than the author himself. Besides, all your posts are just a non-stop stream of hatred with no real basis. Be honest, do you get paid for this trash talk?)
This is more than just the "author", it is a cause for concern when a casino suddenly and suspiciously implements a new rule out of nowhere and conveniently prohibits a gambler from withdrawing his money. also, it is quite ironic to say "Do you get paid for this trash-talk" when your first post after registering on this forum is to shill for this gambling site, Be honest, are you a shill account for vave.com?
1610  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers Claiming To Refund Users affected By the Stake Hack on: September 07, 2023, 01:28:01 PM
looks like the account has been banned, a quick action from Twitter(which is surprising), I guess it was because a big company is being copied.

How did they manage to get gold checkmarks!? Isn't it for official accounts verified by Twitter?
-snip
saw an article months ago about how Twitter's verification system is so bad that scammers can easily fool it and get the gold checkmark despite not being an actual official business account.
1611  Other / Meta / Re: Simplified view of bitcointalk. on: September 07, 2023, 06:30:23 AM
have you tried landscape mode on your phone? if you don't want to download anything it is a good alternative. they usually are good when I use my phone to browse the forum and sometimes post, I rarely have to use Zoom to read or post, but I do need to zoom in when I want to go to the next page of the thread because my fingers are too fat to accurately click the page that I want.
1612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Behaviours of gamblers you dislike. on: September 06, 2023, 07:11:37 PM
What is the one behaviour you noticed in a gambler and  you dislike it? You don't need to have a reason for disliking it but you just do.
gamblers that try to "sweet talk" you into using their "strategy" when you are gambling. I've had a lot of experience with those kinds of gamblers, this usually happens in gambling shops(not in online gambling), they are very annoying and would say "I told you so" when you lose a bet, and when you win a sizable bet(sometimes not even a sizable win), they will celebrate with you and then ask for a tip.
1613  Other / Meta / Re: censoring foul words. on: September 06, 2023, 04:23:02 PM
Not every platform will protect your fragility from other people, One of the things people should learn when they use the internet is to learn how to not be bothered by harsh and offensive words. That being said, while the forum has free speech when it comes to offensive words, saying death threats is a bannable offence (at least, as far as I know)
1614  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚠️ Crypto.Games ⚠️ Account Closure and ~8.38 ETH Confiscated on: September 06, 2023, 03:31:38 PM
their forum representative made a reply to your post on their ANN thread, I would love to see your response to it.

1. When i joined 6 years ago, there was no KYC.

2. When KYC was implemented and since, I have not made any deposits or withdrawals to specifically avoid any regulatory restrictions due to either of these actions.

This is cheap. You are a loyal customer, you successfully promote them, you even take measures to ensure that you don't get stung by new policies while using website. The fact factor that they are treating you this way is disgusting.
I don't think being a loyal customer would make them immune to the regulation the licensor has placed. also, according to the reply crypto.games representative has made, the OP have made deposits and withdrawal after the KYC was implemented and they can provide evidence(and I hope they would)
1615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fan of casino reviews online? This is a must-read on: September 06, 2023, 11:55:21 AM
I was like oh I have been seeing TrustPilot for a long time, just never used them, until I grabbed a cup of coffee and decided to do some surfing, then I found out that the most popular scamming casino on this forum called 1xbit was rated well on TrustPilot.

So if I don't know about Bitcointalk forum and 1xbit I would have though the online casino is a good one. There is no single bad review about 1xbit on TrustPilot and I was like how the hell this is happening?
They do have bad reviews on Trust Pilot, but the good reviews they have are so repetitive and generic that you can tell that it was fake and most likely paid by them.

To cut this topic short, stay the hell away from TrustPilot, I think Coinguru is still a better choice.
apart from casino.guru, askgamblers is also a great place to find out whether a casino is worth trying or not. usually, forums with an active community in gambling are a great way to find what casino is good and what is bad.
1616  Economy / Gambling / Re: No KYC Crypto Casinos & Sites | NoToKYC.com | Exclusive Bonuses on: September 05, 2023, 02:13:43 PM

looks like you beat me to it. I just finished doing a quick read to most of the casinos and I was about to post here that the majority of the casinos on the list will ask for KYC at some point if they deem it necessary and some even need you to perform KYC when doing your first withdrawal

Only casino on your site that is directly claiming that they don't have any kyc what so ever, is LTCcasino which i frankly find highly suspicious.
They had a scam accusation posted against them here in the forum but was resolved in the end, and to be fair, as far as I know, they actually didn't ask for KYC, at least according to the person who created the scam accusation. that being said, I'd still be cautious about depositing and gambling on their gambling site because of the way they handled the same accusation against them and the possible lie they told in that thread to avoid paying the gambler.
1617  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: is Stunna dead ??? Primedice n Stake spoke person. on: September 05, 2023, 12:59:25 PM
to dumb people are not even reading the chat and blaming me for asking money to agent. I asked either tk bring supervisor to chat or gimme one million dollar as they never transfer the chats to supervisor.

stake support is a parrot , which feeds on manipulated results and scamming money from players

You are not asking to either bring supervisor or to pay you. As I previously mentioned on your other thread [amongst many other], you still ask the 1M USD even after they granted your demand and let the supervisor talk to you. In fact, the first thing you tell the supervisor is to pay him because you "want to bury this" and it'll be better to "wrap this", pretty much sounds like an extortion for money

Thanks for this! this just further proves his intent to extort the casino for money but judging from his reply to my previous post, I don't think he cares if what his doing is extortion as long as he gets money out of it(which I highly doubt will happen).
1618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Disruption In The Gambling Industry Your Opinion on: September 05, 2023, 11:28:39 AM
- Do you think that big casinos can survive hacking because they have enough funds stored elsewhere
Yeah, they can, As you said, they have enough funds stored elsewhere but it would still depend on the casino whether they want to continue operation or not. Also, I am not entirely sure but hacking can be covered by cyber security insurance if the casino has it.

- When they assured that users are safe do you believe it or is it just a way to keep their status in the industry intact
It could be both, but it is probably mostly to maintain their image and also not to make their gamblers/clients panic.

- When top casinos are hacked and they still operate and still  into their business without interruption do you believe that
Just like my answer before, it is most likely to maintain their image and not to make their gamblers/clients panic.

- Top casinos should be our priority because small casinos cannot operate normally after the hacking.
When you say "priority" do you mean as a choice where to gamble? if so, yes. but it is not that bad trying out smaller casinos.

-  Do you believe that there will be more hacking after the top casinos?
yeah, they would most likely try again, let's just hope the casino upgraded their cyber security.

- Do you think gamblers will stop playing for the time being after this is all settled?
entirely depends on the individual, some would probably stop and others would continue like nothing happened.
1619  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Newbie promoting Ponzi scheme on: September 04, 2023, 02:31:03 PM
Looks like a typical cloud mining scam. the fact that they have "fixed income" is a red flag and should be immediately avoided. I've seen too many scams extremely similar to this on Facebook(usually being shared by other people in my country sometimes even by small influencers) sadly there are still people falling for this.

I just registered on your gambling site, regarding your registration, I saw on your ToS that you'll need to put a valid email address, name, date of birth, etc. on the registration form, but when you try to register it only asks you for username, email address and password, is that a mistake or not? that being said, after registering and going to the setting, the gambling does ask me to complete the KYC level 1.

Welcome to the forum!

if you don't know it yet and want to further advertise your gambling site here in the forum, we have something called a "Signature Campaign", if you are interested there are Campaign managers who are trusted and will run your campaign smoothly
