Thanks boss. Nice game, though I did not reached 0.2 LTC.

Could I withdraw the remaining 0.08 LTC? It is below the minimum bet.

Sure, request a withdrawal on the site. I will bundle it with a couple of other people's withdrawals when I send it out.

the feds can crack your encrypted wallets very easily. all you have to do is dump the private keys with pywallet, and save them in atext file. then you delete the wallet.dat file. rename the app data folder for bitcoin, then reinstall bitcoin. prior to launch bitcoin, move the blockchain from the old bitcoin to the new app data bitcoin folder. now start bitcoin and import the private keys. you now have an unencrypted bitcoin wallet with all the funds of the old encrypted one.

Can someone confirm this? It seems like a big security hole.

The emboldened part is completely false.

Pywallet cannot dump the keys of an encrypted wallet.

I have not been paid from this... its been 3 days. :/

What is your account ID? This appears to be your first post in this thread.

Withdrawals are all up-to-date, in fact I've been sending them out within a few minutes on many occasions  - Perhaps you are the person who entered an invalid litecoin address? Please PM with more details if you want timely support.

599  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Floppy disks viable for wallet.dat storage? on: June 22, 2013, 02:54:13 PM
Why complicate? If you have some coins you wanna hoard, move them all to one address, export it's private key and use paper and pen then
store papers on multiple locations. You can use some additional obfuscation methods, like reversing the data, shifting it for 4 chars to right, etc.
Hidding the data in plain sight is by far the best deal possible, like using shopping bills and writting obfuscated private key on them. There is no
way you would realise some of papers around my house are Bitcoin and altcoin private keys, both them and data on them look worthless.

Be creative, and try not to depend on high-tech "solutions".

Same here, although the reason none look like private keys, is because I don't actually write down private keys, I just write down really long random-looking phrases, which I input into liteaddress.org to get the private key.

eg. This could hold some litecoins:

Hidding the data in plain sight is by far the best deal possible

600  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When I mine is it better to mine Namecoin or Litecoin as the other coin I mine? on: June 22, 2013, 02:42:22 PM
Bitcoin and Namecoin use a similar algorithm (sha256) so they can be 'merge mined'.

Litecoin uses scrypt, so it can't be merge-mined with Bitcoin.

The only way to mine Litecoin at the same time as Bitcoin is maybe if you mined BTC on your GPU and mined LTC on your CPU. You wouldn't get much however, maybe 0.02 LTC per day.
