901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] [LTC] Litecoin Kamikaze - Win up to 2400 LTC! on: April 05, 2013, 04:31:11 PM
Hi,

first of all congrats for your site, it is very addictive.  Cool

I tried it today but it didn't respond at all when I pressed the button (take bet*2).. Please check it.. it reacted very slow  Shocked

my deposit address is Lacdpqq9oHKNHk3kbQvpUb8mp2RdjS6hmv

Can you please check it / can I get a refund ?

Yes I see your browser lost connection to the server mid-game.

I've credited your account with that 2x win.

Obviously I am not the only one having issues. Funny how you are willing to admit to it for smaller bets.

Funny how I can see by looking at detailed logs exactly who is bullshitting and who isn't.

903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A way to earn litecoins - No deposit requirement on: April 04, 2013, 05:56:01 AM
Hah, cool, got it to all 6 but I have no ltc. Time to mine..... after the blockchain finishes Sad

The point is, you can earn Litecoins with your personal referral link, even if you're not depositing anything yourself.

904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A way to earn litecoins - No deposit requirement on: April 04, 2013, 02:15:19 AM
404 not found

Thanks, I had a typo in the OP's link - it's fixed now (And the one in my sig works too)!
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / A way to earn litecoins - No deposit requirement on: April 04, 2013, 01:06:39 AM
Want to get into Litecoins but are having trouble going through the process of buying them?

Well, you can earn Litecoins directly by referring people to Litecoin Kamikaze.

There is absolutely no sign up or deposit requirement for earning Litecoins through this referral program.

Just visit the site, and check out the REFER page from the main menu.
906  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MtGox bitcoin deposit delay? on: April 04, 2013, 12:02:47 AM
did anyone have a delay, not open a support ticket, and the btc arrived while just waiting?

Yes, but it took 6 hours to naturally resolve itself. I wouldn't bother opening a ticket at this point. If you check Mt Gox's twitter feed, it seems that everyone is getting the same copy+paste response.
907  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How long does it take to get BTC deposit to MtGox usually? on: April 03, 2013, 03:35:29 PM
open a support ticket

or you can reach them on #mtgox on irc.freenode.net

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/IRC_channels

That's okay it eventually came in after 20+ confirmations. Looks like they are getting back on top of things.

908  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's not just you! http://mtgox.com looks down from here. on: April 03, 2013, 02:34:27 PM
This could be bad for bitcoin reputation... Hope this clears up OK (and quickly!)
I think overall people will be angry at the DDOS attackers and not bitcoin itself. ANY website or company can be attacked with way.

The web site works just fine.

They just tweeted

"Hello,

Due to high volume trading at the moment, there is a lag in trading and order cancellation."

4 hours and counting - Oh wait, that's deposits.
910  Bitcoin / Project Development / Android developer wanted on: April 03, 2013, 02:10:44 PM
I'm currently looking for someone to write an Android app, which will feature:

Client/Server communication
User login or some system to permanently link your app to a web-based account.
Some fairly simple graphics

If you think you might be suitable for this work,  please get in touch.

Note: The server has not yet been written either, so you will work alongside other developers (possibly me) who are doing the server-side code while you do the app side of things.
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin at $5.4 on: April 03, 2013, 01:58:06 PM

And down.

I keep getting the CloudFlare screen.
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin at $5.4 on: April 03, 2013, 01:44:42 PM
This is a great price for litecoin! Who could have known just a few months ago!

A few months ago it was less than 10 cents when bitcoin was ~10 dollars.

Then after bitcoin shot up to over 20 dollars, litecoin just sat there under 10 cents for a few more weeks, waiting patiently, wondering if anyone would predict the impending flow-on effects from BTC.

There was definitely quite a long (in cryptocurrency terms) window of opportunity between those 2 events.
913  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MtGox bitcoin deposit delay? on: April 03, 2013, 01:39:10 PM
Is anyone else having trouble depositing bitcoins to Mt Gox right now? My deposit has over 14 confirmations and still doesn't show in my account.

On their blog, they wrote about a similar issue on March 20 and it's marked as RESOLVED yet it seems this is the same issue as that day.

How long did it take them to resolve the issue when it occurred on March 20?

I had the same problem, eventually it appeared on my account... Immediately after the fall from $145... coincidence?

Probably many wanted to sell at that price but could not due to slowdown... and when their bitcoins arrived, the price dropped.

I was (NAIVELY) attempting a little arbitrage by buying a few on BTC-E for $130 when Gox was on $138 - but that is completely stupid now that I think about the time taken to transfer the bitcoins. I just hope the price is above $130 when the issue is finally resolved.
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin at $5.4 on: April 03, 2013, 01:28:29 PM

What was the price that day? Must have been less than $0.10?

I sold them later, 02/10/12 for 0.0475 USD.

My dad did the same thing. He sold 4449 LTC two days before it went up like crazy. I feel bad for him. Now he is buying into PPCoin for the same hopes. I hope it works out for him...

Where does one trade PPC?

i wonder if we can hit $10 before the week is over....

in other news, ltc market cap is now ~6% of btc's market cap. no more bitcoiners trampling and shitting all over altcoins because "all other altcoins put together are less than 1% that of bitcoin" Tongue

Could this mean despite BTC's recent surge that it's actually about to surge 6 times further?!

918  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How long does it take to get BTC deposit to MtGox usually? on: April 03, 2013, 12:29:10 PM
Aye, 6 confirmations. Always seems to take ages, does my head in Smiley

I have a deposit well beyond 6 confirmations that hasn't shown up.

According to their blog, they had a similar issue on March 20. I wonder how long it took to resolve it back then, and if it's the same issue as right now.

Some deposit on 10+ confirmations already but they don't appear.
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin at $5.4 on: April 03, 2013, 12:12:34 PM
$5.50  Cheesy

Wow, this makes the top prize on Litecoin Kamikaze worth $13,200.
920  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Anyone Else Find it Ironic That We Express the Value of Bitcoins in Fiat? on: April 03, 2013, 05:24:59 AM
I propose we value everything in Fiat.

For instance: This would be worth one Fiat:

In that case, this would be worth 1 microFiat:
