3283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: November 25, 2015, 04:12:30 AM
I am New with bitcoin I am just foing Faucets for experience. But I was also planing to buy Bitcoin and wait for 2016. Is it a good idea than?

With btc tendency to fluctuate, there will be no guarantee whether it is a good or bad idea to invest on 2016, but if you have extra money, I think buying it RIGHT NOW seems a good enough idea. You could always sit and wait for another increases, I believe there will be another spark sometime soon, and even if there isn't any, your btc will still increases (hopefully) in 5 to 10 years
3284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing money on Smartphone is far more secure than desktop or laptop on: November 25, 2015, 03:59:39 AM
I don't know about more secure, but it is sure more convenient since we almost constantly hold our phone which means we could check our wallet at will. But I must agree with Sir Carlton Banks, the use of VPN would helps. Though I rarely use VPN when accessing wallet from either laptop or phone, but i've read some tips on facebook group for bitcoin that the use of VPN would helps secure our transaction.
3285  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what about scammer ? on: November 25, 2015, 03:54:36 AM
There still other "method" of scamming, right? Though there are more than enough warning written on this forum about how to deal carefully with ponzi site, there still many people fall into that trap and screamed SCAM on their anger of being fooled. Maybe this is the one which OP refer to scam. If this is the case, then simply do a little research on this forum about the site you're about to invest, you'll get insight on how safe the site is in no time
3286  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [New Thread] Info Signature Campaign | 20 November 2015 on: November 25, 2015, 03:27:50 AM
Saya sedikit bingung nih sama post count saya..
mohon bantuan, kakak
3287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: November 25, 2015, 03:09:52 AM
BTC will still survive without other cryptocurrency, but it'll grow really slow.. and since growing it via alt-coin trading became impossible, there will be so many people left it behind because of the slow growing progress. Finally, there will only serious btc-lover who still uses it.
3288  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Diskusi tentang exchanger bitcoin dan altcoin disini on: November 25, 2015, 03:02:25 AM

trading tuker" currency kak..

Jadi kalo misal saya mau belajar trading, enaknya jalurnya gini y?

3289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction dust (or how to calculate transaction fees?) on: November 23, 2015, 08:10:10 PM
Glad there is someone talking about transaction dust, I have a question about it but I didn't want to wake an old sleeping thread. My question is, I heard that Xapo gives a free transaction fee services. Does this means I'll be completely free from transaction dust that (they say will always) follows the faucet activity?
No. Xapo is paying the fee for you. The fee is separate from the dust. The dust is determined by the minimum fee that nodes are willing to relay.

Oh god, now it's getting even more complicated.. Could you suggest me a thread explaining the difference between fee and the dust? Or better, can you help explain it to me in an easy way?
Basically the fee is a bribe to miners to include your transaction. Generally the higher your transaction fee is, the more likely your transaction will get confirmed sooner. The fee is typically based on the size of the transaction. Dust is an output that is so small that spending it would require a fee that is 1/3 or more of the output itself. The dust threshold is determined by a minimum fee that nodes are willing to relay. The current default is 0.00005 BTC/kb. This makes the current dust threshold to be 2730 satoshis, the calculation is explained earlier.

Which means as long as i collect (we're talking from faucet) above 2730 sat, I won't get any dust?

I always use the autofill function.. But I remember my first 2 digits and occasionally tries (only to forgot a few second later) to remember the last 2 digits of my btc.

Google play says "We're sorry, the requested URL was not found on this server." so should I download it from BitPlay or that's just a waste of  time ? I mean if I'm going to receive payment then It should worth it otherwise ... don't see the point

Just google "BitPlay Coin hopper" they'll bring you to their official website where you could scan the barcode with your phone (you may need a barcode scanning app) and all is set
3294  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Diskusi tentang exchanger bitcoin dan altcoin disini on: November 23, 2015, 05:26:42 PM

3295  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Official Xapo Service Discussion on: November 23, 2015, 05:23:42 PM
Am I the only one who has consistently had massive problems loading my Xapo wallet via web browser?

I am not exaggerating when I say that at least 95% of the time my wallet doesn't load. It either freezes, get's stuck in a never ending loading loop, or produces an error.

--snip--

I literally will spend 5 minutes reloading my wallet before I can even access it. This is not a new issue for me at all, but now I am just curious if I am the only one experiencing this. I haven't even bothered to try any other browsers, but I am using Google Chrome.

Anyone else?
Did you have ad blocker installed?
I used to have this problem until i turned off my ad block

Or try to use different browser like firefox or opera Roll Eyes

Or clear your cache.. It helps me solve this kind of error on most of the website I visit. And yeah, you can always use the mobile version to make sure. IMHO, the mobile version is better than the PC-based one
3296  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [REVIEW] Game android penghasil Bitcoin on: November 23, 2015, 05:18:24 PM

jangankan minta WD kak, saya verifikasi aja sampek sekarang belum kesampean. Sad
Cara verifikasi kudu gimana sih?

Walo makin lama jumlah postnya kian dikurangin sih -_-

i want to advertise every countries, so i don't want to stop in local.
but i admitted many spammer in the local or games an rounds.
3299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: November 23, 2015, 05:09:32 PM

Yeah I am also planning to just use (let say I have 5 BTC) 3 BTC for just holding and the other 2 BTC for spending.
Because if that day come (2016) Than I am also prepared too. Is actually a nice move.

It will be better if you spent that 2 btc on trying to gain more btc, that way, we'll be prepared even more for 2017, 2018, or even 2100-something (there's a thread somewhere on this forum which talking about the future (as in real far future) of btc in 2100-something). What picked my interest is, how many should we keep our btc? I mean, on what ratio of saving:spending (on your case 3:2) do suit the best?
3300  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [New Thread] Info Signature Campaign | 20 November 2015 on: November 23, 2015, 05:01:16 PM
