642  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: unconfirmed transaction for 3 days on: May 25, 2013, 05:28:22 PM
theres is a fee of 0.0005 its not the correct fee i didnt know that at that time, although if any of you guys are miners and confirm my transaction i will give a generous donation

I don't think it's possible to manually confirm transactions

This.  I think that it will just take a while to confirm if at all.  Lesson learned and you'll be able to fix it next time so no worries there.
yes i learned a lesson is there any possibility it never gets confirmed?

Yes. But you can attempt a double spend as long as its unconfirmed i believe

Not really, you can finney attack the coins to a different address, but honestly it's the same amount of work that it would be to confirm it at its current transaction. You can't double spend it the traditional way because the network has this transaction pending already.

If you find a block, I'm pretty sure you can force it in with a modified client, guess you gotta wait though.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Altcoin luck factor for block rewards on: May 25, 2013, 03:14:16 PM
Can someone explain how the luck factor is decided for the lucky type coins around? how are they universally confirmed as being fairly found?

The only way I can think of is that it would pay more if the blocks hash was especially low (target is 0001 for 10 coins, but pays 100 if it's under 0000001). is that how they do it?
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do these guys circle jerk eachother? on: May 25, 2013, 03:09:28 PM
I am personally offended, that I was excluded from this list. I bash every new carbon copy shit coin that comes out as well

He does speak truth and i second his motion to be added to the list.

this is what I get for being lazy and not posting in the altcoin threads, but I did have an early post here:

God damn it

Can I be on the list too?

Continue making posts about me... Feed my ego Cheesy

That's quite sad that negative posts about you feed your ego. You must have some sort of mental disorder, I guess you diagnosed yourself with that pic above.
stop being so angry. you obviously don't get trolling.

The question is, will you accept escrow?

Thanks

PayPal is secure enough I think.

651  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike 1 Avalon Asic chip Mini USB miner on: May 25, 2013, 08:35:51 AM
I was gonna put a disclaimer for that. but i thought my weasel word of "almost' would cover me. I'll be more clear. at the current Bitcoin price (~$130), it will be under 1 btc. If bitcoin doubles, it'll be under 0.5, if it halves, under 2...

As of right now I am 99% sure it will cost less than $120 dollars (and most likely a good amount less than that) but I have NO IDEA what parts and labor cost yet. the only expense I have right now is the 592 chips I bought with ragingazn628
652  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike 1 Avalon Asic chip Mini USB miner on: May 25, 2013, 07:54:09 AM
1.4btc = $180 for k1? no thanks
Board + Chip + Production costs no more $ 50
Up to $ 100 ok, above this value, not worth it.

This is why I didn't want to say a price I said UNDER 1 btc. (which means it could be anywhere from 0.01 to 0.99) This includes everything assembled with the chip.
653  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike 1 Avalon Asic chip Mini USB miner on: May 24, 2013, 03:00:00 PM
This is retail pricing with chip included, ready to go.

All i'm saying is that it will be less than 1 btc, but like I said, can't be sure now on anything more specific than that.
654  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike 1 Avalon Asic chip Mini USB miner on: May 24, 2013, 02:51:42 PM
Just say the price?

Way too early to tell, almost certainly under 1 btc. How much under, well, time will tell.
655  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy#1] Avalon ASICs CHIPS! Using JohnK as escrow! FINISHED! on: May 24, 2013, 02:44:55 PM
RagingAzn how do you plan to allow us to weigh in on sample chip distribution?  Samples should ship in 1-2 weeks.

was wondering this as well
656  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [WTS] 500+ Avalon Chips - any amount on: May 24, 2013, 02:43:13 PM
These chips will be coming from group buy #1.  I bought them with the intention of being able to mine sometime in August, but due to some unfortunate circumstances , I can no longer afford to have 50BTC tied up at the moment.  So I am selling all of the 592 chips that I paid for.  The order number is #10129

Just buy 10 blades for 490 btc and get a 120 ghs hashrate. it may be a week to ship, but for double the hashrate, I think it's a pretty good idea

if it's a fiat to btc problem, I'd be happy to do ALL of the work to get you 70 ghs for that price, fiat or not, but it would take a little while.

Hope the guy who was whining gives JohnK a gratuity. Well deserved and yet again he goes well above and beyond the call o' duty.

Nah I was just really curious, want to transfer 592 chips to me and you disappeared right after I struck a deal. Hope the chips are being shipped to your new home!

When you get a chance, I hope you can confirm that Rallye still has 592 chips which he can transfer to me. thanks! and shoot me a pm.

I'll do it, shipping included, I'll send first. Why not? I got some extra stamps...
