Dude, thafk man? Of course it was about the trinity wallet. The light wallet was broken, everyone agrees with this... I am trying to recover my funds with trinity wallet. Although i have everything to prove the authenticity and that i am the owner of about 1.2 Gi (Bitfinex history, bitfinex Withdraw, Iota 1st seed with transitions, you name it) and the second seed wich i used few times, and i guess that's why it does not have the address attached on the tangle, it has zero balance and no history... I know i am not the only one with this kind of issue cuz i made the mistake to recomand this project. The fact that no one from the IOTA Fundation tries to resolve this known issues sais alot about the project integrity. I am starting to think it was a mistake not to sell when it was 5bucks and believing this is a long term project...
The problem you refer to is about the snapshots. It was communicated all time clearly that there was a snapshot and you need to recover your IOTA just by open the new wallet version and create some addresses (remember, only for the old IOTA wallet, not the new trinity wallet). If you've followed all the steps you would have not any problems with your IOTA. I have been involved since the ICO of IOTA and I still have access to all the IOTA. Thank you! In trinity wallet it seems that the seed in discussion has only one address, probably generated now, for receiving, thats why it has zero balance. Why is that?!? In thetangle.org it shows that the transaction is confirmed. So... is there any way i can reattach an address to its seed? |

I have a problem with IOTA, i have created a new seed in the beginning of the last year, to move my funds from an old seed. I have used that seed just few times, once to attach an address, and other time to verify they arrived. Now, after many months, i have installed the trinity wallet, cuz in the old wallet i have zero balance in all seeds, and the seed is emty, nothing, even in transaction history. What else can i do and why this happend in the first place?
I had the same problem and now I have loaded the Trinity Wallet, see here: https://trinity.iota.org/ is a beta vision but it should also contain your story  The Trinity Wallet is a milestone and will move IOTAcoin to the moon...  How you had the same problem? can you explain? Is there any chance that the transaction was erased from tange cuz it was only used twice? last year in feb when i checked the funds were there and now is zero balance and no transaction history... Is there any way i can attach the address where i send the funds to the seed that it was attached in the first place? there is no address to that seed and the one that i get for receiving funds is different from the one from a year ago... Hello! I had some iotas on 2 seeds. One was holding and one was for traiding and i have instaled iota trinity wallet few days ago. The hold seed is short to zero. There is no transaction history even when i snapshot transition or manual sync. The trading account is ok alltogether. I have the proof transaction hash. Any advice is apreciated.
I had the same situation some time ago. But my both seeds worked fine after importing them into trinity wallet. Are both of your seeds exactly 81 characters long? How long have you not logged in? If you use trinity wallet you do not need snapshot transition or sync manually. It happens all automatically. 1. Yes, 2.I did not logged in on this seed since 18 feb 2018 when i created this seed and moved IOTA in. I have the receiving address, the seed, of course, and proof of transaction hash. Also i have noticed that the transaction history of seed is not working? Do i have to add addreses like in previous wallets? There is an official support where i can find some official answers  ? ps: i also have the original sender seed, it was an old seed from august 2017 with a snapshot new seed. With all these seeds snapshots i thought it would be a good idea to move my MIOTAs. Any chance i can recover them? That makes IOTA unique and as more people get aware of the technology, more people will be bullish on IOTA. According to Ivan on Tech IOTA is one out 3 top picks for 2018, the other 2 are Bitcoin and EOS. They have some issues now but that does not justify that ridiculous low price point.
quite unique in theory, in practice is not usable, feeles trades? lol i am trying to send some iota form my wallet weeks now with no succes... and though it is centralized now none from the center cares about regular users issues. i trust iota but in this manner it will not go far. Great news or update: i just managed to attache an adress to the tangle, which is fkin great!!! |
