641  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-22] Is Blockchain the Future of the Payments Industry? on: August 25, 2017, 02:45:46 AM
Wow this article is behind there times. It's not the wave of the future as it's already started. If you can save businesses millions why wouldn't they use blockchain technology for payments?
642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unconfirmed TX on: August 25, 2017, 02:36:30 AM
I'm surprised. That's almost 400 sats / byte. I went ahead and accelerated it at https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ but no guarantees unfortunately. Btc address is in my profile if you decide to tip.
643  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: My friend keeps getting 4% interest at poloniex day after day on: August 20, 2017, 03:11:30 AM
Who is your friend and why is it important that he made 4%?  And yes, this
is in the wrong section.  Don't think it's a referral attempt, but this thread is
stupid as F.

4% isn't a great return, unless you mean 4% a day which is pretty good.
Means nothing to us tho.

He was saying 4% a day, which Polonex doesn't offer, so yes, this thread is stupid as F. Maybe he just means he trades and earns 4% on average? Idk. It's all nonsensical.
644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Random thoughts on the recent and upcoming hardforks. on: August 20, 2017, 03:08:39 AM
Oh my lord calm down. There weren't so many times in the past that people wanted to hard fork and it just never actually panned out until now. The strongest chain will survive.
645  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Brazzers account LIFE TIME for sale on: August 20, 2017, 03:00:50 AM
How exactly are you guaranteeing this is lifetime? Is it just a cracked account? Need more details. Don't bother PMing me, everyone else wants to know these answers too.
I've been using this account for a long time now and u garantee you it's LIFE TIME. I'm not a scammer because it's not my first time sellig things online. If you have questions please do not hesitate to ask me  Smiley

I do have a question. Is this a cracked account that you're selling or will it be shared between a lot of different people?
646  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do u agree that Bitcoin will go to 500,000$ in 2020 by john Macafee claim ? on: August 20, 2017, 02:50:26 AM
McAfee meant Bitcoin Cash, not current Bitcoin. He later deleted the tweet. He only referred to Bitcoin Cash as to Bitcoin.

Exactly. Fix the title OP. He doesn't care about bitcoins , he's trying to say that BCH/BCC will be 500k. It very well could be ONLY because he and Roger Ver are the only idiots buying out as many as they can and lots of people are just HODLing so they don't sell the wrong version of bitcoin! If you're educated on bitcoins you know what to do. If you don't then good luck! Just hold both. I thank them for the extra (real) bitcoins I now own.

The prediction from him was 500k for BCC and 2400 for bitcoins. Just an FYI. Kind of a screwed up thread for sig spammers that don't actually understand what's going on.
647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: should government involvement be there ? on: August 20, 2017, 02:46:24 AM
You don't send off your sales tax to the government because no one would pay it! Clearly you just get charged at the store then they send off the money to the government. What a confusing post. There is no government insolvent in the sense that they can't change anything. If one government was trying to change bitcoins many more governments/people would step in and make sure they couldn't take over even if they wanted to!

649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should focus more on saving bitcoins than selling your bitcoins on: August 20, 2017, 02:39:13 AM
I never sell/spend unless I have to. Bitcoins are just my extra money so why not invest it in very risky investments, hold it for 30-40 years and let it ride? It's easy, and so far has been very successful for me.
650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BCH threat to BTC? on: August 20, 2017, 02:36:20 AM
anyone surprised by this pump needs to get out more.

there's less of it.

it was created to spook bitcoin.

roger ver announced the pump.

the koreans are so stupid they poured into it thinking it was an upgraded bitcoin.

it's the best pump and dump coin ever as it has that baked in flippening fear.

it also has 100% centralised mining and development so is basically the paypal of roger ver's dreams.

the real threat is the 2x coin if it happens. that would be a whole world of mess compared to this.

No way! It's only 97% centralized!! Hahaha.

It's a joke coin. It's basically a coin that only the lead dev mines but then they try to shove it down everyone's throat. The main difference is it was a very public bitcoin hardfork so that's the only reason anyone has evenhanded of it or thinks it's legitimate. It's NOT!!!

No way. This is out of the question. The price is rising because BCH is getting pumped by Koreans.

you guys are in denial, bcash is proving to be a very credible threat. the asian pump may just be the beginning. hash rate on bcash has tripled along with the price. the bcash attack is proving more successful then people thought it would be. if things don't swing back in favor of btc soon, this could be the end and just just the end of btc but the end of the cypto experiment in general. in any event, i think we'll know in the next 2 weeks.

When is Roger Ver planning the 51% attack?

651  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Mcafee was really saying and how nuts is he? on: August 20, 2017, 02:10:28 AM
it's very obvious,he said Bitcoin will hit $500.000 in the next 3 years not Bitcoin Cash,
He said this when they want to know about their option :
Jihan and thousands of others. THE Bitcoin. Please… count the f**king votes!!”

they want to know, what will they choose, not said he's supporting it.

http://www.newsbtc.com/2017/07/18/john-mcafee-claims-one-bitcoin-will-worth-us500000-three-years/

a lots of article said about Bitcoin not Bitcoin Cash,

Read more, troll less. Do I really need to say more than that? Read the quotes of what he's saying. He's not calling bitcoin "THE bitcoin". Got it now? Read the article.
652  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Mcafee was really saying and how nuts is he? on: August 20, 2017, 12:53:42 AM
Wait bitcoincash? I highly doubt bitcoincash will be around (or taken seriously) in 3 months let alone 3 years. I'm surprised it's lasted this long actually. Did no one see the fact that 97% of the hashing power was made up by... Bitmain obviously although they aren't putting their name on it.

https://themerkle.com/unknown-bitcoin-cash-miners-control-almost-97-of-the-networks-hashpower/

Unless three or four other huge mining operations start mining this is a centralized shitcoin.
653  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User "serenawild" spamming his fake BTC transaction accelerator on: August 19, 2017, 11:54:26 PM
What's the goal here? It's clearly just a fake website but are they trying to phish something? Oh no, they know my IP address and my bitcoin txid. Should I expect them knocking down my door tomorrow?
His "service" is not free. He is selling his acceleration service for Bitcoins. People may fall for this since there was a increase of stuck transactions waiting for confirmation.

Hahahahahaha oh my God that's hilarious. It's the new bitcoin doubler folks! Only this one doesn't seem to have as many shills and newbie accounts saying it worked for them.
654  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor wallet can be hacked into before it boots up on: August 19, 2017, 11:48:26 PM
Know what's faster, cheaper and better? Paper wallets. I've never had an issue with my firmware from a live USB screwing up my security.

Inb4 Paper wallets can burn in a fire, you can lose them etc... Make three copies. Don't actually keep them on paper. Why not steel? Titanium? The answer is in your own head.
655  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I cash out my BTC now? on: August 19, 2017, 11:45:27 PM
You should always use your own instinct if you need to decide whether to cash out or not. I personally dont have plan to cash out btc by now or even after few months because I believe that btc price will continue to go up.

I should use instinct? What the hell? My instinct is to not stare at the sun and to spread my seed across the land. I don't see how that is supposed to translate to when you sell your cryptocurrencies.

Sell when you need it. Don't be greedy if you don't need to be. If we've at an ATH and you'll need money in a few weeks, withdraw some.
656  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your total investment in Bitcoin and R u in loss/ profit ? on: August 19, 2017, 11:42:59 PM
Um, investment? $150? Am I profitable? Yes. Yes I have more than $150 worth of bitcoins right now haha. I work for bitcoins though so I guess that's the main difference.
657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you could give "past you" advice what would it be?? on: August 19, 2017, 03:18:37 AM
Take out your retirement fund. Get the biggest line of credit you can and buy as many bitcoins as you can. Congrats, you can retire at 30 or 40. Instead I didn't take any risk at all and here we are with a good looking wallet but I'd rather have an amazing wow super doooper story and wallet.

659  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-18] Billionaire Mark Cuban is Finally Considering Bitcoin on: August 19, 2017, 03:14:09 AM
Lol the same idiot who said bitcoins are in a bubble is now saying he's interested. You know, I wouldn't be surprised if he invests in bitcoin cash hahaha. Roger Ver and him seem to have similar logic and agendas.
660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on Uber on: August 19, 2017, 03:12:55 AM
It is a good news but why tip? Why not just integrate it as a payment method instead? Tipping a driver who has no idea what bitcoin is or even have a wallet (except a wallet is also integrated for the drivers) is going to end up being a waste. Unless you have all the strength in the world to start explaining bitcoin to the driver and setting up a wallet for him before your trip ends.

I'm pretty sure that Uber isn't the company behind this. It is only one single driver that is accepting bitcoin as tip.

As you said, obviously being able to tip in bitcoin is good. But what would be infinitely better would be to have an actual payment method as bitcoin on the uber app itself, so you can pay for rides directly with bitcoin.

But i'd take that too - better than nothing. Plus, even though this driver might not represent the majority of uber drivers, he could influence other drivers into accepting bitcoin tips as well, or even potentially let the customer pay in bitcoin directly(might be violating tos of uber though).

That was confirmed a long time ago. Anyone anywhere can choose to accept tips in bitcoin but that doesn't mean the company is now accepting it. They should though. I don't see how there would be a downside to them other than price volatility.
