Why did I get divorced? Well, last week was my birthday. My wife didn't wish me a happy birthday. My parents forgot and so did my kids. I went to work and even my colleagues didn't wish me a happy birthday. As I entered my office my secretary said: Happy birthday boss! I felt so special. She asked me out for lunch. After lunch she invited me to her apartment. We went there and she said: Do you mind if I go into the bedroom for a minute? I said: OK. She came out 5 minutes later with a birthday cake, my wife, my parents, my kids, my friends and my colleagues all yelling SURPRISE!!! while I was waiting on the sofa... naked. Cheesy

8  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favorite movie quote? on: January 12, 2016, 01:20:25 PM
This is great quote from Remember the Titans Smiley
You look like a bunch of fifth grade sissies after a cat fight! You got anger, that's good. You're gonna need it, son. You got aggression - that's even better. You're gonna need that, too. But any little two year-old child can throw a fit! Football is about controllin' that anger, harnessin' that aggression into a team effort to achieve perfection! Some coaches may cut a player if they think he's not up to snuff, when they think he's hurtin' the team. This is a public school program. I will never, ever cut a player who comes out to play for me, but when you put that uniform on, that Titan uniform, you better come to work. We will be perfect in every aspect of the game. You drop a pass, you run a mile. You miss a blocking assignment, you run a mile. You fumble the football, and I will break my foot off in your John Brown hind parts and then you will run a mile. Perfection! Let's go to work.

Which planet does not have a satellite?

Why the snow is white?
White is the result of reflection of all colors. Snow and snowflakes are ice crystals mixed with air molecules. The air gaps between crystals, along with the crystals' complex shapes, bounces the light beams around so much that all the wavelengths eventually get reflected out, giving it a white color.

Can chickens have twins in one egg?

When two chicks hatch from the same egg the egg usually has two yolks. Usually one embryo out competes the other and only one chick survives to hatch. Many time both embryos die before hatch. We have no knowledge of Siamese twin chicks ever being hatched. Smiley

Why do things look darker when they are wet?
When light strikes an object, some of it penetrates the object, and some of it is reflected and reaches your eye. When an object is wet, more light penetrates the object, so less light is reflected. As a result less light reaches your eye and so the wet object looks darker. Read on for a more detailed explanation.
