im sorry but i cant let this pool online as it is
i get orphans after the blocks are confirmed, and some send tx are cancelled too.
imo, you should increase the amount of confirmations for new blocks
I think you just recently got an abnormal amount of orphans because someone just hit the network with 6GH, none the less if the pool is suffering then.....lets please fix it Epsylon3 Rocks!! Thanks for the pool btw!

Aye aye cap'n crunch,
Well that's odd, I still haven't gotten this thing to link properly to boost libraries using HOST=x86_64-w65-mingw32. And now my afternoon time limit is up.
My apologies once again. In the meantime, mine with the old version please, I'll bang my head against this thing again tomorrow.
Got it, thanks!

Weird, solo mining Join, found a block about 5 minutes ago, notification popped up (windows, bottom right) mined 1 Join but does not reflect in wallet. Any reason that might be? A just wait thing? Miner output confirmed "solved" but, again nothing on tx's.
If it is not an orphan, it will confirm in a few hours. I'm just used to seeing an unconfirmed mining symbol and balance in the wallet when solomining. Ok I'll wait and see, thanks

Yes, sorry about that yplkm, the situation is as Epsylon3 eplained. Then : "Yo dawg, I heard you liked getwork so I got to work and got getwork to work" I added getwork back into the code repo with this commit: https://github.com/funkshelper/woodcore/commit/ac00e0faf8dd4eaed4fec7076962750e07aa0ac6Unfortunately I still haven't had time to build windows binaries of this thing. This afternoon china time I will do it for sure! Thanks for your patience Pokeytex and to the stress testers working overtime on this coin recently! And for your comments Cryptophilanthropist. Cheerio - Thanks a trunk my Woodbrother!! Rice Crispy - btw Life Path 6 -- I'm a wannabe yplkm

Just switched to Woodcoin Core, Windows, very cool, thank you I have 4 connections to network, but loading graphic line info says "no block source available" Any help?? Already deleted all but blockchain and wallet just to see if it would help. It's only been up for about 15 min btw. Thanks again! EDIT: It synced false alarm UPDATE: can't connect for mining with 0.13.2 , conf file is set for proper local ip's in my LAN (Revert to 1.1.0 , 4 local mining rpc connections max, has been this way) UPDATE 2: Also looks like stuck at block 501221 ?? Network Hash not changing either.

Ty. You can pm me if youd like
Did you try instructions on page 1 ?

Regarding Masternode setup:
listen=1 masternode=1 masternodeprivkey=<key from step 5> masternodeaddr=<your machine ip>:11994
"your machine ip" does this refer to internal system ip 10.0.0.x or an external ip 174.56.x.x ??
You're external IP Thanks I do have 1 node running using that setup (external ip) on windows and it receives rewards. I did not have to use command "masternode start" it just worked. If I do the same thing on another machine, another building I haven't seen rewards in 24hrs. So I ran masternode start command and it says cannot connect to (my external ip) I have ports opened at router. Funny thing is on the wallet that receives I did not manually open the port for that router. Sooooo I am having confusion LOL, any tips? UPDATE: just received reward 2 minutes ago on machine that has conf file set to internal ip....lol...more confusion OK seems as though 11994 needs to be open at router and conf. file needs internal ip for masternodeaddr=

The autosave is every 12 hours. I agree that isn't needed for the most part (catching up with some resync if you don't save often is no big deal) and is bad on low mem platforms. I'll take a look at adding a command line option. Should be easy.
EDIT: I committed some code to master that adds a --disable-save option. This turns off the automatic saves every 12 hours. Manual saves and saving on exit still work.
If you pull and build you will get it, or wait for the next release.
My public node is updated and running with the --disable-save option. Thanks! Another way to limit/change autosave timing is to edit this line prior to compiling https://github.com/aeonix/aeon/blob/master/src/cryptonote_core/cryptonote_core.h#L159 epee::math_helper::once_a_time_seconds<60*60*12, false> m_store_blockchain_interval; Change the 12 to something like 240 before performing "make" this way it saves only every 10 days

Reorganizations happen when there is temporarily a disagreement about what the longest chain is. It happens in every Cryptocurrency, and the shorter the block time, the more frequent it happens.

You mean software? Same as I have been with much better luck before updates.
Yes, I meant software, sorry. Are you talking from a miner's perspective or a Pool mantainer perspective? Its a pool,(I am an operator) I understand the averaging nature of blockfinding but I believe the network is being slowed down somehow in general considering other peripheral reports regarding tx's. I have no proof of this it is purely observational. Just answered above I understand this yes. I have a public and a private pool. I use diff designation with my private pool and have explained this to many miners on my public pool. We use xxxxxxxaeonxxxaddressxxxx.(diff here) example xxxx.5000 dependent on the miners best submission rate within 15-30 sec intervals so as to reduce load to the pool. I have been mining this way for over a year now, thank you for the explanation and perhaps I will now try the -m function in 2.0 (which I use with some of my rigs)
