You can still can mine here!  Look is okay by now.  Mining with no fee!, give your hash rate some shot here!!... ☺

Hi Stoneboy,

I think it might help your situation in gaining the trust of potential miners if you made full disclosure of your real name and address/telephone number as well perhaps provide a few references which can be verified by a third party (e.g: bank reference, lawyer, etc...). I get it that most here in this community like to remain anonymous but as a person who claims to wish to be a pool operator I think you need to accept the fact that you must trade some of that anonymity for full-disclosure to give comfort to potential "investors" in your enterprise that you will not run away when the first block hits. Escrowing 25 BTC with a trusted member here would also be a good idea to further cement faith but after reading your thread here it sounds like this might be financially not possible for you.

Like you I am also new to this forum but I can see after reading a number of threads that there have been a number of scams pulled on members here which understandably makes potential miners for your site quite cautious. The recent difficulties you have had in getting the site started as well the fact that you yourself are not mining your own site makes things even more suspicious!

I am curious also, I believe the Netherlands has similar website disclosure laws as are found in Germany...are you not legally required to disclose  your name, address and contact information when using a .nl extension on a site that is hosted in the Netherlands?

Best of luck.

Andy

You are absolutely right, never indeed to be not open. I didn't know it was so difficult and that be "scam off" when trying to start your own pool. I thought bitcoin community is open source, where people like to help is eachother, so that's reason I started it. By doing it (deploying a dutch mining pool) grow and learning and help people and Lear from eachother techniques. But I occluded it is hard for a newbie, but ever one was once a newbie here....

Boy Smiley

BTW. Just mining by myself now, waiting for others, don''t be so hard on me, it is just 2016!...

What cost a good lease agreement and what ate team profit Do search also for retailers in the Netherlands (Holland)?  You can pm me.

Go right ahead. me its included in my lease agreement so I am not stealing so there is no crime.

do whatever floats your boat.

i would check over that lease agreement.
im guessing somewhere in there it says that if your power increases too much your rent will go up or you will get kicked out.

only an idiot would rent out a place and not put something in there like that.

Even if its not specifically stated, there are fair use precedents. For example set by the guy who was selling 'his' free electricity back to the network to collect a cheque, to pay the rent.

The best BTC mining rig for $1000 is the one that you don't buy.

Lol ☺
15  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Best bitcoin mining rig for $1000? on: December 31, 2015, 12:17:49 PM
my advice would be TO buy bitcoins and turn them into hash with hashnest (or their pacmic invest plan) ... no other work or fees required, just earn shares profit
I really don't trust those cloud mining websites, if I no longer want them can I sell them for bitcoins possibly?

Yes, you can trade your hash power in market anytime.

If you don'the trust it go to Cex.io site has a good reputation and security.

What are the investments to begin? And the profits of it. Have you a example?

You can use any amount you want, from 0.005 to X BTC, on 1 or X Market, form 1 to X Exchanges.
I usually suggest to start with very little sum to understand how CAT works.

Okay thanks for the explanation and the quick response!

19  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: How do pools work? on: December 31, 2015, 12:36:08 AM
Your terminology is a bit off and I'm not sure what you mean with "hashes" and "clicks". I will try to write a short explanation if it helps.

All miners connected to the pool are mining for the pool. So if anyone finds a block the block will belong to the pool (gets paid out to the pools address).

Now the pool has the responsibility to split the reward (25btc currently) between miners depending how much work (hashpower) they put in to find this block. Usually this is done by pools setting a lower difficulty for the miner when sending them jobs. Miners will send back results (called shares) earlier when they find a block matching the lower difficulty set by the pool. The pool will count this shares as proof that the miner actually did the work.

Shares are like real blocks that just don't match the full target (difficulty). One of those shares will actually match the current real difficulty and the pool will submit it as a valid new block.

Different pools use different ways to count the shares (determine your payout) and you will see terms like PPS, PPLNS, ....

You can find more information on wikis:

The hashrate is on a steep curve going up right now and it looks like each week a new mining data center is announced. I personally would wait a bit now before investing into mining hardware.
thanks for the info will look at it.

I'm not very smart on mining although I started doing it in 2012 and stopped for a while but I have about $1000 on amazon so I would like to know what you people think would be the best bang for my buck on a mining rig from amazon for around $1000 I can go a lil over aswell. BTW: I won't be paying in electricity bills if that helps. Thanks in advance.

amazon you will overpay for a miner. can you withdraw the 1000$? you can buy the S7 currently for around 1000$ without shipping added.
indeed your right better buy from the source in China f.e. by Bitmain your S7 Miner.
