1  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 5x partially broken Halong t1 with psu on: August 16, 2019, 04:53:24 PM
Update on the conditions of the miners

So I came home and ran some tests

This morning when the room temperature was lower I turned them on (see first screenshot), then rebooted them 3 times over the day to see if I could increase hashrate.

I finally came to a stable 42ths over 4 machines, but the power usage sucks (see individual screenshots)

This hashrate is stable after 1 reboot, I'll do more reboots during the evening/night see of it stays that way

My hypothesis is the machines overheated and thats why I had dropping boards before, but I still can't explain why they stay in tuning phase and use so much power compared to the advertised 100w/ths the right units hash at.

One is gone to a friend, I'm looking for 180Ä+ship (200 shipped in Europe), except for the echo unit of course

Let me know if you guys are still interested, price is a feeler and can go down depending on the interest the units get Smiley

Here are the pics :

Ps : I might have inverted echo and golf on the power screenshots, I'll look into it

Sold?

I am curious as well - I made an offer of $350 but wanted to know what shipping would be - never got a response.

Hi,
units are still gathering dust, i'm inquiring with a local buyer but he won't take all units.

Stryfe  -> I'll send you estimate shipping cost to US but my guess it's either going to be very slow or very expensive (200usd easy).

jqprez  -> 150eur nope

Last development in the asics, I managed to make 3 units hash for a straight 3 days in power save mode (basically s9 14ths) but they failed to restart in balance mode.

I'll reply to your PM and inquiries on the 13th, i'll be AFK until then

Cheers,
Q.

I can send you the miners for this price but not the psus, they're all in great working condition so worth 40-50eur each i'd say
4  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] 5x partially broken Halong t1 with psu on: July 25, 2019, 12:18:55 PM
Hi

From a previous purchase gone wrong, I have the following to sell :
5x myrig 1680w psu (one psu has a wire cut on a pcie plug)
5x halong t1

Usually the 3 boards stay up for a few minutes, then they start failing and in the end 0-1 boards/machine stay up

Sold as is, best offers considered.

Shipping from France zip 01000

I'll get pictures and more info if there's interest on these units

Escrow of course accepted Smiley

Hi guys

so on my last purchase of t1, out of 8 units 5 have issues with boards.

Some have 0 boards working, some have boards going up but crashing in the next 3-5 min

I tried changing the psus with working bitmain ones and no difference
I updated to the last FW and switched out the data cables on the spare plugs on the controller

The red light keeps flashing on the faulty boards (as when it's auto tuning) but i tried running them through 24h and it's still auto tuning.

Also some boards are written "dead" and others "alive" with a 5-600ghs hashrate, is there a difference between each ?

I'll look into the kernel log next time I get there and see if there's info, but from what I read I believe the miners have had shock during transportation and the boards are overheating and burning due to bad contact between the thermal compound and rad/chip, looking for input or something I skipped for the diagnostic process

8  Economy / Services / Yet another escrow service (EU timezone) on: June 20, 2019, 09:17:15 AM
Hi guys,
Iíve been using escrow for a while on many transactions, now that I have a decent reputation Iíd like to return the service to the community. Especially with the wave of scams coming around !

I have only escrowed small transactions for now (<500usd)

The process is the following :
1. contact me through a group pm including yourself, the person youíre dealing with and me
2. Iíll reply (please allow 24h max) with an address for you to send payment to
3. once payment is sent, the buyer sends TXID and seller ships and sends tracking ID
4. once the package is received and checked :
    1. goods are working -> excrow is released
    2. goods are dysfunctional -> escrow is held until an agreement between both parties is reached

If one member stops giving a sign of life, after 30 days escrow will be released on the fairest terms
I donít escrow for CC, accounts (hacked or not) and guns

I can accept :
Bitcoin (BTC)
Ethereum (ETH)
Ripple (XRP)
Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
Litecoin (LTC)
Ethereum Classic (ETC)
Stellar Lumens (XLM)
Dash
EUR (SEPA 3% fee)

I speak French and English

My fee is 0.5% + donation, weíll see how that plays out. (the TX fee is added on top of that of course)

Always check my signature to see if Iím not AFK before contacting me

Please remember this is more of a service than a business, so donít be a dick Smiley

I have a few z270p with original boxes if you'd like, they have a celeron CPU but I guess you won't be needing this.

I need to check shipping price to the UK but I could let it go for 50eur + ship if you still need it

16  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Trezor Model One and Keepkey (and possibly other) Hardware wallets on: April 24, 2019, 07:51:02 AM
Hi mate,
I have a keepkey for 50eur including shipping, it has no box and isn't in great consmetic condition.

Working 100% but I bought it 2nd hand and the previous owner used to carry it around with keys so it's a little scratched.

I'll send pictures if you're interested mate, also got some of the 1st ledgers (btc only) and some nano S

Paypal is fine from you, or btc/eth w escrow

17  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS][EU] water damages RX 580 - 10Ä each on: April 09, 2019, 08:22:50 AM
Hi lads,
looking to unload 2 water damaged Gigabyte gaming x 4gb 580 gpus.

They got hosed by a crazy neighbour, it tripped the power but a few weeks after as I rebooted the rigs some cards/psus/mobos started dying instantly

For the enthusiast who wants to play with them

20eur + shipping, will cram both in one box to reduce price.

Pictures and more info is there's interest, I'm not sure the cards are recoverable

Cheers,
