Is there a Telegram group for XVP? Maybe it is time to make it?

Maybe it's time for you and everybody else to regularly visit this thread.
The link was posted long time ago and it could be found in the OP too.

There is no ICO. XVP was launched 16 months ago https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xvp/#!crypto

I have  virtacoin, and what now to do with that cryptocurrency?  Maybe it's scams coin or I am wrong?

You should ask questions elsewhere. This is VirtacoinPlus (XVP) related topic.

We are concerned with the increase in the number of subscribers to our YouTube Channel, which is why we are willing to pay 100 xvp for each person who brings at least 300 subscribers.
How can you do that? Using "EasyHits4U" platform.

I would like to quote below the content of an email I received from the virtacoinwallet.eu Administration (each member will receive it).

Subject: Towards a secure coin trading system
Content: Dear balvio,
Every now and again there is news about some exchange being hacked. Apart for the actual loss suffered by those whose accounts got plucked, there is the far greater damage done by a drop in the rate of the coin and the reputation of crypto safety in general.
Although the media are quick to point out a 'hack', in reality it is mostly about sloppy security or outright theft by employees.

The problem with most exchanges is that you need to deposit coin in their wallets in order to be able to trade. When there are thousands of customers, the total amount deposited in the exchange wallets gets huge, making them an attractive target for attacks or theft.

I am proposing a system where the exchange acts as a mediator, or clearing house between parties that want to trade. In that system, coins are only moved to the exchange to execute an agreed trade, so there is no accumulation of coins on the exchange itself.

On such an exchange, traders can put up buy/sell 'contracts' for coins. The exchange lists all available contracts so traders can easily select a deal. For instance, if you want to buy some XVP, you could enter into a contract with someone offering to sell say 1000 XVP at USD$10.00
After selecting a contract the exchange will send a message to both buyer and seller - the seller will be asked to put 1000 XVP into the exchange wallet and the buyer will be asked to deposit $10.00 to the exchange account. When both parties have done their part, the exchange will perform the actual transfer to the contract parties.
If either one of the parties fails to respond in time, the deal will be canceled and funds received will be returned to the originating party.

Besides being a secure way of trading coins, this system is also much easier to understand and use than regular exchanges.

How will this help XVP?
First of all, this new exchange will support any coin that has an online wallet available. It will charge a modest listing fee which MUST be paid using XVP, plus a tiny XVP fee for every transaction involving the coin which will be charged to the same party that paid the listing fee.
Second, XVP itself will of course be listed at this exchange creating yet another site for XVP trading.
Third, active traders can earn 'points' that are redeemable in XVP.

At this time, programming for this new system is about 50% done and hosting for the new site, 'coincontracts.eu', has been arranged.

Please let me have your comments on the above. I will collect and evaluate them and put out a summary in about 2 weeks from now. Thank you for your attention.
Thank you for using our services.

Some people are unhappy and they're rightly so. But let's take the example of litecoin and ask for your opinion.
This is the 'All Time Chart' for litecoin, from Apr 28, 2013 to Jun 14, 2018:

People who bought litecoins on Nov 28, 2013 (date is red underlined), when the price was $50.27, after 3 years of long waiting, they should have been very unhappy, right? Would they have had to sell their coins on Dec 11, 2016, when the price was $3.69?
Big question, huh?
Litecoin is a very good example for us. The lesson is this: You never know when the price will blow, so be patient! Patience is the key to the success.

Has XVP been delisted from coinmarketcap? Cos I can't find it any on CMC!

It seems like the link is still working https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/virtacoinplus/#charts

Hi balvio, where interested people should contact or fill form if they would like to join? I would make some promotion for it if needed?

This is just a desperate call, nothing planned

These days, the only Exchange Platform XVP is traded on is 'TradeSatoshi'. I opened a ticket asking them why XVP trading volumes are not reflected on 'CoinMarketCap'. Here is the capture of the ticket:

Once again, when people are doing great promotions, that is reflected on volumes. I have given the example of HTML coin many times, which has huge volume on a small Exchange Platform like Bleutrade. https://bleutrade.com/exchange/HTML/BTC.
XVP community is weak and disgusted. How to expect big promotion?

Thank you, Emeka Okoli! You were the best manager of this coin and its community. The result of your actions is clearly seen.
You made huge profits by exploiting people's weaknesses and then you ran away like a coward.
Hope God will punish you as you deserve!

Hello XVP Holders!
I'd like to get in direct contact with someone who is mining our XVP coin (PoW miner).
Is there anybody here who mines XVP using special mining equipment?
Please contact me privately.
Thank you!

2018-05-31 11:24 - Fabulous Nova traders! Here's what's going on.
First of all, it is SO GREAT to see that so many of you are trading, we have seen a 1150% (!) increase of overall daily trades so far, and your deposits are continuing to flow into the market. Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin!
...
Of course we want to keep you in the loop on what is up next for Nova!
1. Our next step will be to accept deposits in several other assets/coins/tokens than we do today. The ambition is to open deposits in ALL currencies as soon as possible, but that might take a few weeks.
2. After that, our plan is to onboard most of the latest top 20 forks and coins that are currently not represented on Nova.
3. Then we want to open the gates for new costumers and new coins, so please let all your crypto friends know, that if they are patient, they will, in a not too distant future, trade on a new, faster, safer, and better looking Nova Exchange!
...

The bitcoin value drops to $8,000, less than half of what it was 6 months ago, despite the optimistic predictions of various criptocurrency lawyers who are sure to raise bitcoin to odds they have not seen before. Will bitcoin rise (out of the ash) on new highs?

In the previous article, we talked about Fundstrat's forecast that we will have a $36,000 bitcoin by the end of 2019 (based on the cost of mining a new unit).

But this method of analysis is criticized by many: for example, Samson Mow, director of Blockstream's strategy department, points out that Fundstrat is based on a controversial economic theory: the price theory given by the cost of labor for its production, which is popular among Marxists economists, but rejected by most experts who are adept at subjective value - the value of a good is given by the amount of money that buyers are willing to pay.

In fact, things are a little more complicated - if the cost of production gets bigger than the price of the buyers, the producers will give up producing that good, so there will be lower market offer and the demand will have to give more money => more goods will be produced and so on...
How does this process apply to a cryptocurrency? - When the mining cost becomes too high, the miners will give up and then the currency will be more vulnerable to blockchain attacks. To prevent this possibility, bitcoin applies the following measure: if the number of miners decreases, the algorithm becomes less difficult and thus decreases mining costs, more miners are attracted, etc.

This means that the criteria taken into account by the Fundstrater are more than a simple valuation of the currency after the cost of obtaining a mining unit. There is certainly a correlation between this cost and the market price of bitcoin. But this trend will manifest itself fairly if there are no other factors influencing the market - and in bitcoin it is obvious that even an announcement, for example introducing a regulation, can have a huge effect on the price.
In other words - if bitcoin had allowed it to evolve without intervening (by governments or financial regulators), the price would certainly increase as predicted. But we know almost certainly there are and there will be external interventions.

Bitcoin still has a problem - if there are too few miners, it will be in danger of disappearing altogether. Why? - because miners are not just looking for new blocks, they also check transactions. Without this verification, the currency can not be bought, sold, or spent. If the mining return reaches zero, there will also be the bitcoin (it will not have any value because there will be no more transactions).

Everything is in a balance that must not be ruined: there are miners to make profits, there are transactions that generate profits for miners (through trading commissions), the level of difficulty can be adjusted correctly so that the balance is kept. Any major disturbance can irreparably destroy the system.

Ultimately, the bit rate value is given by how many transactions are made (this also includes buying / selling the currency). Bitcoin must remain attractive for people to continue wanting to do business - a spiral of death in which the price will drop dramatically and people will give up an ever larger number is possible, which will lead (through the lack of miners) to total collapse of cryptocurrency.

This is a translation of an article I have read recently. It seems to me quite true.

It is one of the reasons why I believe that crypto-coins exclusively based on Proof-of-Work algo will not have a brilliant future, and the market will increasingly be captured by modern, hybrid altcoins, based on both Proof-of-Work and Proof-of-Stake, which will not depend exclusively on the presence of miners in the scene.

VirtacoinPlus will have a hard word to say in the distant future. People will realize this superb quality of this coin not to be dependent on miners and will adopt it more and more.

Every time I find an extra penny in my pocket, I buy XVP. The future will prove to me whether or not I was right.
