701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: October 20, 2023, 09:03:11 PM
Neymar have been absent until the end of this season after getting injury when playing for national team Brazil on world cup qualifier round, its disappointed position for Al Hilal because they can't play Neymar until end this season have absent in domestic league and AFC Champion League. Most expensive salary payment for Neymar seems nothing with Al Hilal because they have spent more tan 300 million euro in one season but Neymar only play few mathces with Al Hilal and one appearance in AFC Champion League.
But respect with Al Hilal management keep support for Neymar return stronger from injury and he got motivates from many his friend back stronger from injury and hope he can get well recovery and return to play football again.
That's such a sad but also expected thing. I mean they just got him, he didn't play even 5 games with them right? If I am not wrong he didn't even played 5 games, and he is already injured for the whole season. So they are forced to pay tens of millions of dollars to him for not playing on his very first season and not like he will come back and make them champions next year, by all odds I guess that he is going to be injured next season as well, at the start he will not be that good to come back and then he will get injured maybe big time or maybe small time and miss some games again.

This is what happened with him at PSG too, look at how many games he played, he didn't play full games just a single season, he always had an injury every single season at least once, usually multiple times. I am guessing that his body is made out of glass and he keeps breaking or tearing something and he is way too prone to injury for a player that gets paid that much money.
702  Economy / Economics / Re: Are short-term rentals to blame for the lack of housing? on: October 20, 2023, 08:55:22 PM
The Airbnb is a concern for the locals for sure, but only the property owners are making the big bucks. With the provided information I think you work on a company or something and for that you can't move out from that city. If the demand is high then the property owners to make significant changes and rent out the house to people who are willing to live for a long time. Higher payer are always welcomed by them. In a situation like this, people will only focus on those higher paying people.
And who is to be blamed in such a situation? The owners or the tenants? I would say none, talking about owners of the rentals, who wouldn't want to get more money for something they earned and own? Every person doing any sort of business in any part of the world would want customers who would pay them more for what they are offering, so you can't blame the owners. And if we talk about the tenants, those who are ready to pay a higher rent to get the houses, you can't blame them either, because someone who can afford to pay enough to get a good place will always do, they don't need to hesitate because they can afford to rent the place for the demanded amount by the owner.

So who is to be blamed? I would say the system, inflation, that's what is the basic cause of all this. If there was no inflation, buying land and building a house wouldn't cost as much as it does today, and the rental properties wouldn't be so high. So, we should blame the system for this.

With females getting a lot more time on the academy part of the deal, I wonder when will be the next time we will end up with a female driver.

I mean this isn't really all that impossible, sure requires a bit more strength and I wouldn't be able to drive it as a male, so we all know there are already some great ones, but with them getting this much time on the tracks and getting to know it and learning, there could be one eventually. Thinking about PR as well, I think a team that is running at the very bottom could end up with someone who could give them some marketing, a female driver would be a huge huge deal, and that would be a lot of money for that team if they did that, could be a good idea to at least give someone a few tries in a few races as a reserve driver.
704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: October 19, 2023, 08:35:02 PM
Neymar being injured again wasn't really unexpected was it? No idea why they paid so much for him, he is not like some superstar famous person for money and views reasons neither, I mean don't get me wrong I am not denying his talent, but people like Ronaldo and Messi draw people to watch their games, look at just this topic, Ronaldo made this league known all by himself that's fame, it is of course because he is talented but that's not enough, just being talented is not enough, you need to be so famous that you need to make that money back for them.

Neymar wasn't loved like that by the people all that much, maybe Brazilians could like him a bit but not everyone around the world so I am assuming it was already a bad transfer even if he was healthy, now that he is injured, it is even worse.
705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: October 19, 2023, 08:05:15 PM
Finally a flash of light in this topic. Instead of hiding, forbidding and banning a parent must teach, show and tell consequences about various things. The rule "I am your parent, I know what is better for your" does not apply anymore in the modern world. We must let the kids have their own life, not to copy ours.
True, the more you try to restrict them and try to keep them away from certain things, the more curious they will become to know about those things or to try them out. So trying to forbid them might actually work in a negative sense in this case.

I mean how can the understand that gambling is bad (like many here say, even though they wear gambling signatures)
People often say excessive gambling is bad, and not gambling itself, and I don't see what having a gambling signature has to do with that. There is nothing wrong in saying that one should gamble responsibly because irresponsible gambling can be bad for someone in the long run. Promoting a firearm company doesn't mean you shouldn't condemn the negative usage of those firearms.

Ok, I will never gamble in front of a kid because it is bad, but what should I tell if one day the kid sees me gambling? The kid will either see his parent doing bad thing or will realise that the parent lied to him. Both scenarios are bad.
One should try their best to keep things away from them as much as one can, but if one is seen doing it and questions are asked, then one should go ahead and tell them the actual thing and explain how it can be bad for them.
706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on staying responsible. on: October 19, 2023, 07:25:21 PM
Just make a budget for your gambling activities and stick to it, that's all it takes to become a responsible gambler. As long as you are not spending more money than you have allocated for your gambling activities, you are a responsible gambler. There is one more thing that is equally important, and that is to know when to stop, whether you are winning or losing, you should understand when you need to stop gambling and when you should just continue with it.

When you see yourself losing constantly, you shouldn't continue gambling because you won't get any good results, and continuing will simply clear your bankroll. And when you have already won something on top of your initial bankroll, you should stop right there instead of getting greedy and thinking that you can win more, it doesn't happen and you will lose everything back.
707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling on: October 19, 2023, 05:03:33 PM
When gambling, do you prefer to use a secure VPN or you dont use that?
If you haven't done that yet, don't do it, and if you have been doing it, never do it again. There can barely be a casino platform that would be VPN-friendly and allow their gamblers to actually use VPNs to access the casino and most of them will either ban or block the accounts that are using VPNs and changing their locations frequently, and even if you are constantly using the same location, you will still get in trouble when they ask you to complete your KYC verification.

Gamblers who use VPNs to bypass restrictions won't be able to make withdrawals if they are asked for KYC verification because they will probably not have documents to submit based on the location they have been using through the VPN and as soon as they submit their personal documents, their accounts will get blocked and funds confiscated, most probably.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do your parents know about your gambling habit ? on: October 18, 2023, 07:01:46 PM
Your parents don't need to know about each and every habit and activity of yours, especially when you are an adult. You might be obliged to keep them updated about what you do as long as you are living with them, not earning money and taking money from your parents for your personal expenditures and stuff, but as soon as you get out of that circle, you either start living out alone or start your family, you start working and earning money, that's when you don't need to tell everything you do to your parents apart from the things that you feel are important for them to know.

I understand that there needs to be a certain amount of respect that you need to have towards your parents because they have obviously done a lot of things for you and the sacrifices that they gave for you can never be paid back even if you spend your entire life, however, that doesn't mean that you share every activity and habit with them, that's a totally different and personal thing, in my opinion.
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Navigating the World of Online Gambling on: October 18, 2023, 02:18:03 PM
We navigate by following the stars... in this case, the star is BTCGosu. It's not just that we get the real and tested info about the crypto casinos around, we get some protection as well! BTCGosu will help us if we have issues with the crypto casino, especially if we are playing under the Gosu link. Basically, it's simple, you try it and you will find out. Smiley
It's essential to have a website or a service that provides unbiased reviews and true guidelines regarding a certain industry, and BTCGosu is the one for the gambling industry. There might be a lot of review websites but most of them aren't reliable, just take TrustPilot as an example which is full of biased and fake reviews from users of either the same platform or from other platforms that want to show a negative image of a certain gambling platform.

Some people might think that such things don't have a lot of influence but it's not true, in the past, I've always tried to look for reviews regarding any platform before joining it, and if someone sees that a platform has a good trust rate on such websites, they might get a wrong perception about it. So, it's important to have a platform that actually provides you with the reality and no biased trust ratings.
710  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽️ SPORTBETTING ADVICE ⚽️ on: October 18, 2023, 06:28:33 AM
gambling is very unpredictable. Your strategy may work for you but not for other gamblers, or vice versa. We really can't tell.
That's a fact, it's not necessary for the same strategy to work in the same way for two or many people but it might just work for an individual, so it's important that people do what they think suits their betting pattern instead of following what others are doing to achieve good results because your strategy or betting pattern might be better for you.

However, one last thing I'll mention is to be careful with parlay bets. If you become too fond of that betting strategy, you might not realize you've already lost your bankroll. Parlay bets can be fun, but based on my personal experience, they can easily wipe out your bankroll because the chances of winning are very slim.
People often go for parlays because they know they can get very high multipliers with them, but they ignore the fact that they can also lose all the money if one of the matches turns out to be a loss, and I've seen that happening with people where they won all the matches and lost the parlay just because of a single loss.
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: October 17, 2023, 07:16:30 PM
Call yourself to order whenever you're gambling and having nothing to tell concerning your experience in what you do, have a time to run a check on the kind of gambling lifestyle you've had in couple of times, access yourself on a grade level to see if you're proud about what you're doing or not, also check if there's need for an improvement to be implemented, consider the benefits it has served you in many ways and that which you may have lost at the same cause and weigh them all together, if you think you're going too far already, then try to apply wisdom and gamble moderately.
Yes, gambling is not an isolated activity in life, it is part of your habits and life and should be integrated into your lifestyle, the people you are with and you job or occupation if you have any. This context can be a help in putting gambling into perspective and use it properly and only while it is fun. Just remember, see around you and will get a better hold on your behavious.
It should be like that and it is already like that for the most of us who are well responsible of our selves. It was only the addicted gamblers are the ones who do it wrongly or the opposite way. As an addict, your life will mostly revolve in one activity, and you are literally isolating your self from the public most especially if your addiction is online gambling.

I have a partner and I integrate or share gambling to her. For some maybe they need to be careful and make sure that the person is already in to gambling. I only find it wrong when you say we need to integrate gambling with our occupation as it will only affect our performances and there is a bigger chance that we can lose our job.
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is horse racing so unpopular here and a bit of extra feedback on: October 17, 2023, 06:33:59 PM
The popularity of sport will depends on your environment since what mostly introduce or what you is most provably the sports would provably catch your interest.
Yeah you are correct, the popularity of sports totally depends on country or environment because people tend to focus more on the kind of sports they normally see and participate all there environment, for example were I come from horse racing does not attract people because it tend to be participated by the only people who has money and also with the belief that horse racing is risky that someone could easily get injured on the process.

So the dominant sports in my environment is soccer because of it popularity and it doesn't take much to start playing football, so however people tend to love more on the kind of sports they can even do themselves.
Not really applicable for some. Me for example. Cock fighting and basketball are very popular here but I don't know on why I'm not hook on them just like the majority of my country men?

I also have a personality that don't follow the mainstream. Maybe that contributes to that. IDK if the OP is like me or he is simply living on a country where horse racing isn't as popular as the others. Another reason is maybe it was restricted there? As some animal sports like cock fighting are also illegal on most places/countries.

People on your country are too sensitive. They aren't the ones who will ride the horse anyway in terms of betting and horse players are professional to get injured easily. The horses that they ride, the tracks, etc.. are also being checked to ensure that everything will run smoothly. And it is like any other sport in the betting scene where a small amount of money is acceptable.
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casino Crypto gambling on: October 17, 2023, 05:19:40 PM
We utilize them differently from what you have said but in a way that we can attain anonymity. Online casino can also give convenience. We can play them anywhere. Online/crypto casino doesn't differ to offline casino when it comes to luck. As usual, the games are still kinda rigged. When it comes to odds, each games also have a separate of it. As usual, high odds means it's hard to win on them but low odds are equals to high chances of winning.

If you have a decent bankroll, you can bet significant amounts in higher chance games to earn money easily/quickly but if your goal is only to play for fun, it will be better to allocate smaller amounts and play on lower chance games. Games are also the same. There are skill type of games like poker and sports betting and then there are luck-based games like dice and slots.
714  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 16k DOLLARS LOSS IN JUST 1 YEAR on: October 17, 2023, 06:51:05 AM
Your first mistake was to think that you could conquer the market without knowledge and experience, you didn't bother learning about trading first and entered the market thinking that you know everything and it's very easy to get profit in this market, and you didn't even learn from your mistakes because you should have started learning after losing the first investment instead of investing again with limited knowledge.

Your second mistake was to FOMO and buy a coin or token that has already gained significant value and you still bought that token thinking that you will get some profits and exit the market as soon as possible, everyone with less knowledge and a greedy mindset think that way and eventually lose money. FOMO means Fear Of Missing Out, which means that you panic that you have missed out on profits and then you buy that asset quickly to enter the league of those who are profiting from it but you are actually late and the party is already over.
715  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversification in Global reserves. on: October 16, 2023, 06:02:54 PM
Theoretically crypto currencies would be the perfect currency to be the next global reserve currency. No country alone would have full control over it and the decentralization aspect would remove a lot of political pressure. Unfortunately we are not living in a perfect world and I don't see any chance at the moment for cryptos to become the new global reserve currency.
For us, obviously yes but for them? No way. Being decentralized is actually the thing that they hate the most. How can they do their manipulations this time? There are now global reserves that they primarily used. I am fine with that already and cryptos being legalized by them is already a big thing for me. Maybe it is more possible for them to make it as a legal tender than making it as a global reserve, but that is even better. What more can we ask for?

There might be support from smaller countries that don't see a chance for their local currencies to have any impact, or that is fluctuating too much and scares investors away due to the high volatility.
But don't forget that cryptocurrencies are also high in volatility, although it's much better because their supply is only limited and there is always a chance for their value to recover than some local currencies out there.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling on: October 16, 2023, 05:48:08 AM
Best practice is to never go against your wishes, use the money you can afford for gambling, don't be too greedy for high win, learn to minimize risk, calm down and be patient with hile gambling and don't always push too forward being overconfidence whenever you are gambling, some people do bet because of the odds provided even though they aren't good at that particular sport betting, but because of the odd, they got attracted to giving a try, some losses were just from our personal gambling weakness.
It's obviously not a wise idea to bet on sports you don't know anything about even if you see that the odds are in the favor of the side you choose. Still, the results can always go against you because there can be things that you must know about the sport or the teams before you place your bet like maybe a player that has a big influence on the overall team isn't playing in that particular game. The odds makers didn't consider that fact when deciding the odds.

That's why, it's important for a sports bettor to have complete knowledge about a sport before they start making bets on it, and one should also know the teams and the players playing on that day so that they don't make a wrong choice and lose. It isn't a problem if the bet amount is low but if you are betting big, you will need to be careful with everything.
717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs the government on: October 15, 2023, 06:46:14 PM
Let's not deceive ourselves, the government knows very well that they can not stop it entirely since all the world government can not agree on this term, however, they are playing smart with us, most of this guys are buying bitcoins in the secret as they create FUD in the Crypto space so that they can have more of bitcoins on their wallet. It is high time we pay by less attention to the trick.
Thanks to the country that has already accepted bitcoins as a legal tender, we hope to see more countries follow suit as the wickedness to keep the world in poverty is getting rid off
I actually somehow agree with the fact that the people who are openly opposing Bitcoin might actually be buying in secret but just can't let everyone know about it but they obviously see the potential that it has and they know that their investments will surely earn them a lot of money in the future. So they might be opposing the idea in the public, but they must be adopters themselves as well, this is mostly about politicians and government officials.

It's obviously true that they can't actually stop Bitcoin from existing no matter what they do, all they can do is ban its usage and make the adoption lose pace but that isn't going to stop the movement and Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies will keep growing over time even if the pace gets slower that wouldn't stop the overall growth in the long-term.
718  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any methods to do it? on: October 15, 2023, 06:18:29 PM
Trading really depends on experience.  As trading is unpredictable it may not be possible to earn the amount you mentioned by trading daily. As there is profit loss in trading then you may face loss.  But it may happen that you can earn more than the amount mentioned.  There's really no way to say for sure.I personally like spot trading and sport trading can earn good amount of profit. But if the capital is more, the amount of profit is also more.
And don't forget luck because even a high skilled trader can't have a 100 percent winning rate. That is because luck isn't permanent. If the amount we set is too much for our capital, we may not achieved it most of the times but it is still possible to earn excessive amount sometimes when our luck kicks in.

Spot trading is the very basic of trading and like you many people prefer it as it was also easy to initiate and less risky than other advance types or variations of trading. Being less risky doesn't mean the profits we can get are only minimal and so what if it's only minimal? As long as we can consistently make it and save it, they can still grow huge.
719  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Junket Operator on: October 15, 2023, 05:36:53 PM
I’m still confused what’s their main purpose but they are the one who partner with the casino to lure VIP players in the form luxurious offer such as accommodation and travel trips just to make them play in the casino. In return, they will get profit sharing on the total amount spend by their recruits
What's the confusion about? You said it yourself, they do that so that they can earn some money from the casinos because they are referring VIP players to them, that's they main purpose.

I’m just thinking if there’s still some casino offers this type of luxurious reward to their players aside from rakebacks.
I am not sure what you are expecting but yes, casinos do have affiliate programs where a user can bring players to them and they will pay a percentage of what their referrals have wagered and I think it's basically the same thing that you described in the beginning. Other than that, I don't know if they actually offer any other thing to the player unless they are VIP themselves which then makes them eligible for the VIP perks and benefits but that's a different thing.
720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don’t push playing more on: October 15, 2023, 04:44:35 PM
Gambling is like an addiction, Even for those who are not addicted to gambling, leaving gambling for them too is a painful experience and requires a lot of dedication and self commitment.

You gamble and you lose and you do not gamble and still feel the stress of not playing gambling, how strange it is. For those, who want to quit gambling for a little while so as to overcome their bad luck period, it may be good if they are still allowed to gamble a few games daily but with a very limited amount of money. This way they won't feel stressed that they are not gambling.
I'm not Tongue

If I want to stop gamble, I can easily do that and will not feel any pain to leave from gambling.

If you always think you must gamble all of your day, then it means you should find a new activity because you're have too much free time. When you have a lot activities, you will not think about gambling anymore.
In the world we are living in, one can only have too much free time if they are lazy and don't have a job basically, because if you are working, you will probably not have a lot of free time since you will work about 8 to 9 hours a day, and the rest of the time you will probably do something that releases stress, now that activity can be gambling but since you don't really have a lot of time, you won't be spending a lot of money on it and you will gamble just for fun.

Those who have a lot of free time are probably jobless and I wonder how they can gamble in their free time since they don't have an income to use for that. You can only be able to do something that involves money if you have money and to have money, you need to have a source of income.
