So I got an extra $300 to invest in Crypto. I already have over $100 sitting in Bitcoin so I was thinking put the rest in an altcoin or two. What do you think the best altcoin to invest in right now is? Only catch to this question is the crypto must be usable at overstock.com in case I want to spend some.
ETH in cheap price is good to pick, or you can wait stellar to dump and hold some. I think it is better to hold some old coins that new tokens because sometime new tokens have more speculator than investors. |

Too much for ETH at the end of the year. We are far from that speculation and few more days left its already October and the first entry of the 4TH and final quarter of the year. I'm bullish at the end of the year but I'm not so sure if this is going to be possible. ETH at $2500 is really high and I cant support that prediction though I want that price.
True, $2500 is too much for this situation market. Maybe my target is range between $500 until $1000, at least still logic to realize even we all already know if everything can happen in crypto world |

I think your strategies are very good. Because you do not get much profit, you only gain 1% per day and many people want to earn 10% daily or 20%, and for this, they face many losses and you use a very safe method. I like and respect your strategy.

These scams are not only going with telegram, people are taking advantages of other social media platform to steal our bitcoin. The chase goes on facebook, whatsapp and even snapchat. BEWARE!!!!!!!
If anything that is just another reason, as if we needed even more reasons, to not use social media as much and to not give details about who you are and especially about the amount of bitcoins and other cryptocurrency that you are holding, I see a lot of people brag about the amount of coins that they're holding not understanding that they are just putting a big target on their backs. I think we can use social media like usually. But be aware for someone who we not know and always remember don't trust anyone in crypto. This thing which is spread to people all over the world to avoid scam. |

Every day I see more and more people starting to feel hopeless with the current market situation because of uncertainty when prices will recover and end this fall. Even more and more traders are deciding to resign from trading and sell all of their assets but that makes the price even more falling.
Everyone join and jump in trading activity in various price of coins, so we don't know in what price they buy and why they feel hopeless about it. I know we can't force other people to hold but nothing that we can do with it. |

I guess so many of us still believe and confident with bitcoin no matter how hard the price dropped.. And Yet many were continue investing during this bear market that only means they still hoping for good profit, months o year from now.
Bear market is good for invest, real investor wouldn't invest their money on bull market  . But beside of that, panic of new people will aware and start to do opposite thing of that. Buy in bullish market and sell in bear market. |

I am hoping for the best of the cryptocurrency market towards the end of the year and hopefully in the whole of 2019. I am expecting a great recovery if not a bull run and everything should be based on real market forces and not so much on speculations. However, we know that this is the market where anything can happen and things can be beyond our own control and influence. I am now thinking that if cryptocurrency will still be bad in 2019 I would reduce my involvement to as much as 75% and use my energy and time to something else...this is my way of diversifying and putting my security on my finances. This is just like saying hoping for the best but preparing for the worst..
What do you think?
If me, i still hold fiat for now, only a little amount of bitcoin. If market is not really good in next year i think i will start to open business in real life, because not want to take any risk in bad market again. |

I think mostly desperate for free tokens are those who are not good at math and can not count that it's not profitability not in terms of transaction fee, but also from time and reputation risk.
Already count that, transaction fee is problem for me. That is why i never join airdrop. For many people join airdrop sometime can give them big reward, but not many which only be collection token that fill their wallet. |

Crap. I will eat my shit if something like that will happen. Too few time left for such great move. Bitcoin must add like 10000 $ monthly right from now to reach the target the OP is talking about and that is just impossible.

I can not say so, since many coins show good progress in the cryptocurrency market, but bitcoin is also good in its own development, and stands above other similar coins.
Maybe because bitcoin is main cryptocurrency above other coins. But i see ETH make good progress and almost reach bitcoin price. But once again still below bitcoin. Maybe in future if bitcoin keep get bad news, other coin can be main cryptocurrency |

if you really want to try it, buy with small amount of money, at least your money is safe because you still have back up for it and you still can buy it again if price down again. At least you don't miss a chance if ETH that you already bought will rise in future. |

I've seen lot's of people who complain to bounty hunters who dump their tokens after they get them. Why hate them? They have all the rights to sell whenever they want and bounty allocations are only 1%-5% of the total supply of the coin. I don't think it will do much to lower the price of the coin. I mean it's even good for the ICO investors as they will have a chance to buy more tokens with lesser price than the ICO.
Holding the tokens also doesn't mean it will make you rich. Some tokens get abandon by the developers so it would be better to sell at a good price than be left hanging in the end.
because bad effects for that is more than good effects. Well, at least with hold your token can help developer to keep value of that token itself because not all developer will left their project after listed in market |

In my very own experienced there is no good outcome when you HODL too much.
First of all do you know what HODL means?
HODL is used when referring to hold the cryptocurrency rather than selling it.
Holding cryptocurrency is no good because it means you don’t have a knowledge about trading, for me, you can do scalping trading and increase your holding by it and gain profit.
I suggest that all in the Crypto community must learn the basic trading fundamentals. There are free tutorials anywhere. Don’t be lazy, think big.
People have their own strategy and it is bad if you comment about what people want to do with their asset. If you really good in scalping so it is fit for you, but not means it will fit for other people. |

All depends on the technology, BTC will be adapted for the business soon. As it will have more stability during the transactions. Actually, BTC is quite adapted already is so many companies are already accepting that currency.
In country that make it illegal, it is hard to use BTC as payment. And i don't see much company that accept Bitcoin now even Steam i heard not accept BTC ( Correct me if i am wrong ) because for long time i not open my Steam Account. |

Bitcoin is currently pumping could this be just a hype or this the next wave that will pull the market back from the current bearish track that we experience. Price pumped to 6750 USD from 6400. We can see an identical increase with other altcoins too. Your ideas are welcome?
My ideas is price can be stabilize and keep increase, because this topic is for speculation. I think bitcoin price change better than past, at least it not keep getting down and down again like a few weeks ago. |
