641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Schiff son buys more bitcoin against his advise on: September 10, 2020, 11:18:31 PM
I think his son is getting with the times as we will see the world move towards digital currencies however I still think that gold will be a good investment to hold as the world economy is in a very bad shape and still most of the world does know or use Bitcoin so gold and silver will be good to have in the next few years and then once the world switches to digital currencies then we'll most likely see Bitcoin more adopted world wide or each country will have their own cryptocurrency.

Better Put the account Link here so The Manager can take a look closely, and also you can directly send PM @Brainboss regarding matters Because He is always willing to answer everything if concerns His managed campaigns.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2199760;sa=showPosts

I've been looking at his posting pattern for the last few weeks. Most of his posts are made in a few hours period, mostly on Saturdays or Sundays, just to fill the quota.
Of course, I am fully aware that it is up to the manager to select a campaign participant according to his own judgment. I'm just wondering if this is considered a burst posting?

Well did you stop and think that maybe this person has a full time job and works Monday - Friday and doesn't have time to post during the week? I could be wrong of course but I don't understand why some members are going around checking everything that other members are doing, its like post police. I'm sure the campaign manager is looking out for anyone doing the wrong thing here. I for one sometimes can't post on Monday's and Tuesday's as I am busy so maybe this could be the same for this member.

~snip~.
I think will have at least 10 participants, few are waiting for deadline. Grin

I don't understand why the guys who are interested in T20 and other cricketing discussions, don't show much interest in joining the IPL Pool, when we have such a good prize pot. As I have mentioned before, there is chance to win 28x the entry fee.

Not all members have interest on IPL. I hope this is the main reason.
In cricketing thread majority of users are very much interested in IPL. Last IPL pool participation proves that. ( it was free tho)

Quote
on the other hand, due to pandemic, now people do not have enough money to spend on these type pool.
Yeah, that could be a valid reason and i understand that, community tried to address this issue by discussing fees for participation, Here so that we could get fair number of participants. Guess our tiny community didn't do a good job there.

I'm a cricket fan who doesn't really follow the IPL all that much as I'm more of a traditional cricket fan and prefer test match cricket. But in the future I may come and try it out as I get used to the teams in the IPL as I don't know much about them even in my country Australia, I don't really follow the BBL as it just doesn't appeal to me. Anyway good luck with your pool and hopefully more people will join.

Not sure what you mean by saying Alex de Minaur isn't a player for a grand slam semi-final? He is an up and coming player and is a very good hard court player so I think he is a player that can match it with the best and will hopefully give Thiem a good challenge. Yes he might of had an easier draw however you still need to win matches to get through and that's what he has done so lets see how well he matches up against Thiem in just under an hour from now.

Well, I hope you saw what I mean. He might be an up and coming player, but he's not ready for Thiem yet. He had a great draw and found himself in the quarterfinals more by chance than by actually playing great tennis and Thiem blew him off the court. De Minaur is a decent player, I just felt that Thiem will breeze through the game and he did.

I have watched most of the match between Medvedev and Rublev yesterday and I must say I am very impressed with Medvedev. He is giving so little to his opponents and Rublev even though he played well did not manage to take even a set of him. He had his chances in both tie breaks but Medvedev managed to turn them in his favor.

I am not sure if Thiem can keep his focus long enough to pass trough Medvedev. I am expecting a match where Medvedev will keep constant level and Thiem will oscillate between hitting those big shots and just missing them. That should lead to interesting match and maybe even a 5th set. My bet for this one will be over games.

Rublev really killed me with these 2 tie-breaks. I'd have won another bet if he only managed to win one damn set - which he kind of deserved.
Medvedev - Thiem will be a great game to watch, I think the winner of that match will win the tournament. I'm betting on Thiem, I have a soft spot for heavy hitters Grin

Yes I got it wrong however like I also said he still needed to beat the other players to reach the semi-finals. We all know how good Thiem is and I have been a big fan of his for years now, you just need to go back through this thread to see that I have been a big supporter of his on here. Thiem has improved a lot on hard courts and maybe this US Open is the year for him to win it but Medvedev will be a tough next up opponent so it should be a great match.

It looks as though more people are now starting to sent their Solaris to the savings account as I think its more attractive to have Solaris in savings then staking. Like I said I'm just waiting until I reach my target and then I'll be sending some Solaris to the savings account but I'll way up my options as to how much I'll be sending. I still think that its always good to have some Solaris in your own wallet just in case you need to sell when the price starts to rise.

I just logged into StakeCube and saw their delisting announcement that they will be delisting Ignition. I asked in their Discord server and one of the main reasons was that there was low volume on their exchange. Its a shame as I now had to move all my IC over to BTCPop for staking.
647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 09, 2020, 11:32:47 PM
I'm happy to see Australia win the final T20 match even though England have won the series however this win by Australia will help them build some winning mentality heading into the 3 game ODI series. England has played a lot of cricket in the past few months so they are in form while Australia need to continue to find form which they have and now we should see a close fought ODI series.

yes you're right England played more match before this t20 series it has helped to England team to win the series and i am also happy with Australian preformed in final t20 match because previous both t20 matches gives big lose for me and i gain 3x profits in final match.

Well match fitness will always play a big role in matches and as England has played a lot of cricket in the past few months the whole team are match fit where as Australia haven't played since the start of the year and there is a big difference between playing matches and practice matches so that is why I gave England the edge in this series but hopefully now that Australia has 3 matches under their belt that they now start to perform a lot better in the ODI series.

Is there update from the team why acedbets is down in maintenance ?

i waiting to bet for days, does this mean they ready for launch new update ?

The reason why AceDBets is in maintenance is because the team are about to release the new update. They are currently working on all pending bet settlements and then hopefully if all goes well the new update will be released, the team are hoping to have this update released this Friday.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 09, 2020, 11:22:14 PM
I'm interested on the other set of QF that is going to be played tomorrow.

Medvedev vs Rublev
Thiem vs De Minaur

Who do you guys think will win on that match? I will be giving Medvedev and Thiem advantage here simply because they have the experience, specially Thiem against De Minaur. For Medvedev, it will be a tough one, but he will prevail in 4 sets.

I agree. Thiem has to be considered as a big favorite, de Minaur had a really good draw so far and isn't a player for a GS semi final. I also have a feeling that Medvedev is in better form than Rublev and he's a better player overall.

It's a shame that Čorić did not reach the semis - he had his chances and losing both tie-breaks eventually cost him.

I made a parlay of Rublev winning a set (or more) and Thiem winning with a -6,5 handicap.

Not sure what you mean by saying Alex de Minaur isn't a player for a grand slam semi-final? He is an up and coming player and is a very good hard court player so I think he is a player that can match it with the best and will hopefully give Thiem a good challenge. The new look website looks to be coming along nicely.

I've also noticed that more Solaris is now locked up in Solaris savings which shows that people trust the team for the long term. I'm yet to use this feature but I do plan on using it very soon as I'm just wanting to build my Solaris first before locking them away for a period of time.

So its only btcpop that you can buy/sell beancash now?

No, you can also buy and sell BeanCash on Unnamed exchange and they have a number of different trading pairs for BeanCash where as BTCPop only has BTC trading pair. I but Beans with Doge on Unnamed as I stake another coin that only trades in Doge so when I earn stakes and sell for Doge I then buy BeanCash.

Zverev really looks in fine form and is the one to beat in my opinion. The way he was able to fight back after going down 6-1 in the first set and win two tie breakers in a row shows us that he has come a long way and looks ready to finally challenge for a Grand Slam title. Yes he has been good for a number of years but he just looks prime for this Grand Slam. Its great to see all the top seeds there, I personally am hoping Alex de Minaur can reach the semi-finals and even go onto to playing in the final but he has a very tough match against Thiem coming up.

How much is beancash worth now?  I use blockfolio but not sure if its corrected.  I stored my beancash in the beancash wallet but havent logged in a while.  Is it even worth sprouting anymore?

There are nice websites like Coinmarketcap or CoinGecko to check coins' stats and prices. I'm surprised that you haven't heard about them Undecided

Oh and whether it's worth sprouting depends totally on how much BITB you own. If it's 1k then no need to bother. If it's 10-100mln then probably yes.

I agree, if its a small amount this person will be better off sprouting their beans in a staking pool like on StakeCube or BTCPop but if its over 1 million then it might be worth sprouting on your own. I have almost 2 million now and am getting a few sprouts daily but some days I get only 1 or 2 sprouts so I guess it depends on the network weight as well on certain days.

But which site sells beancash?  The one on coinmarketcap seem to avgs all the exchanges right?  But some dont even have any volume?

Yes volume is low for BeanCash as most of the volume back in the day came from Bittrex and Cryptopia but since then Cryptopia is gone and BeanCash was delisted from Bittrex. Unnamed exchange has a little volume on days and that's where I have been buying my beans from and you can also check out BTCPop which isn't listed on CoinMarketCap.

(...) i seriously think that it was mistake and should not disqualify for making a mistake.

Yes, it's a stupid rule, but it is what it is. No player would do that on purpose, but you have to be more careful then. He is not the first player to get disqualified for such incident.

When I read about it I thought he smashed the ball in anger and deserved the ban. After seeing the video that ban really sounds tough but rules are rules and they have to be followed. The ball hit the lady straight in the throat, talk about bad luck for both of them. On another day the lady would simply caught the ball with hand and nobody would talk about the situation.

Yeah it doesn't look all that bad when I saw the reply and was just bad luck for Djokovic but I still don't think he should of been defaulted from the US Open, maybe they could of taken a set off him even though it was in the first set. I just wonder if it wasn't the first set, would points or a set been taken off him instead because even though its not good what happened but defaulted is a bit too far in my opinion.

Has anyone been using acedbets without any issues?
I never registered so far, but I am thinking of testing it this weekend with some sports betting as there is no kyc rule on website.

I also see some people complaining here of bets not settled and no answers from team.

I would suggest that you wait for the new update which is very close to being released, hopefully within the next week we'll see it released. The team and the testers are still testing in-play betting which isn't an easy task to get right but I can say as one of the testers its almost ready.

Its good to see US Open tennis back but unfortunately I'm already out as I bet on Stefanos Tsitsipas and he lost yesterday so now I have placed another bet on Others as I like the chances of Alex de Minaur and I like to bet on some value and I think he offers great value as he does perform well at the US Open.

I just tried out the game, its a fun little game to play but my laptop I don't think can handle it as the game lags for me or is this normal? I just played the demo to see how it was and now I'll join and try and win some crypto, mainly looking at winning GP.

Speaking of games, I remember there was a snake game years ago I used to play on some site and the prizes were GP coins and I believe a few others, does anyone know what happened to that site or if its still around?

That was on Sector5 as well I believe.

Yeah you could be right as I guess a lot has changed since back then as I used to play the snake game in 2017 - 2018. It was a great game to play and also a great way to earn some GP coins so I hope it comes back in the future or if its still around can someone point me in the right direction please.

Kernik the creator of Sector5 has done many updates and was showing me another game he was working on that looked super cool. A multiplayer spaceship style battle game similar setup to the snake game. Join us on Discord for more game updates.

We also have a new icon that is being updated around the web at our various services and the new wallet update will reflect the new icon:

Sounds interesting as I was a big fan of the snake game and to see another new game similar I'll be happy to play.

I like the new look logo, I'm glad that you kept it similar to the old logo with that retro look to it as that's what GP is all about the retro style of gaming.
660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 05, 2020, 11:08:02 PM
Australia looked almost certain to win the first T20 match against England after Warner and Finch had a 98 run opening partnership chasing 163 to win but a middle order collapse from Australia made it very hard to recover the momentum and England took full advantage of it. It was a good game which came right down to the wire. Just remember that Australia haven't played cricket for many months but its not an excuse as they should of won the match but as we already know T20 can change very quickly which is why there is never really a clear cut favourite even during the match.
