1  Economy / Economics / Re: How Can Blockchain Improve Healthcare? on: October 22, 2020, 04:44:05 PM
Itís out responsibility to improve our healthcare. Our leaders have to sit down and think of ways that they are going to be able to improve. And when I say leaders, I donít mean these old and retarded men we have as leaders. We need new and young leaders who will be ready to move the world forward, these old men donít know what they are doing and they donít even know about the Blockchain that youíre talking about here.

So, thatís why we deserve better leaders that will do the right thing. Although I am not saying that Blockchain will solve our problems, it will only make things easier, other things are the left to us.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did bitcoin lose its value? on: October 22, 2020, 03:49:18 PM
It will take a long time before bitcoin can become a currency.
Governments do not like bitcoin because they cannot regulate it, and bitcoin itself remains limited. I think that before bitcoin solves the problem of speed and transaction fees, bitcoin is very difficult to be a currency.
Whether Bitcoin is a currency or not, it doesnít stop the price worth from increasing (and going down sometimes). And moreover, I donít think we the people should be forcing the government into cryptocurrency, because we already are aware of the fact that the government likes to control everything they see, so itís best that we just put more of the focus on getting more people and more businesses to accept Bitcoin, and so that people can make use of it when they want to.

It shouldnít be something that has to do with the government, they should be minding their own business please, we donít need them here. Thanks.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: October 21, 2020, 06:49:29 PM
I might read TOS but more like skim through it, I think its more important to subscribe to the main forum thread for that site and any other feedback threads and see discussion of any particular sticking point in usage or rules like this.    Most often I'll sign upto a site but wait later for it to be more established rather then relying on it immediately for anything important or significant use, sometimes the lesser quality, flaky or short term sites become obvious in their intent over time.   My ability to decipher lawyer speak is not something I'd lean on to save me from alot of mistakes.
Same here I skip playing on website platforms and once they are established and have a good reputation going on then I can play there. It is more a case of "why should I risk" with new casinos because even if the TOS are transparent and good still the casino can cheat you.

Seeing the poll right now seems that 16 out of 34 users are not reading the Terms of Service of a gambling site which is I think is dangerous for them since you didn't know which agreement you accepted since I know that once you created an account you already accepted their terms and conditions maybe including asking for a KYC.
The truth is the poll might be even more one sided towards the NO if people are being honest because really who would read the long Terms & Conditions set by the gambling house? I personally don't read them all but I do visit it once to find if any anomaly exists and if there are ID proofs needed by the house to make my withdrawals.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap isn't safe for newbies who don't want to learn on: October 21, 2020, 10:52:06 AM
Itís not Coinmarketcap's job to tell you whether a project is scam or not, their work is just to be used as a price reference and nothing else. So if any newbie is going to Coinmarketcap is going to the website to choose a coin to invest their money, then they are making a mistake because even fake/scam projects can be on the list.

Anyone thatís looking for tokens should go the right places, you can read articles on Medium, and crypto review sites, they will be more helpful. They should be free to drop their questions on this forum and learn what they donít know.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will replace oil and Gold on: October 20, 2020, 06:13:59 PM
No there, I donít see it that there is going to be any replacement, although as the world keeps growing there are some changes that has been happening and a lot of things that are being powered by oil are now becoming electrical and less and less things now have to rely on the oil. Things are basically changing, and a similar situation for gold.

But, that doesnít really mean that investments will now be going into Bitcoin just because of this, but a small percentage of their money will. Itís just like the company that invested 1 percent of its total assets in Bitcoin which is around $50 million or so. They will be investing in Bitcoin, they are having interest, but there are also other investments they will be going for.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin start Backing USA dollar on: October 20, 2020, 12:43:28 PM
The USA dollar need good backer.

The Bitcoin is perfect to backing Up USA dollar.
That Can Work like real fractional reserve.
I think 2021 year the dollar Will be backed by BTC
BTC? No I am not believing that the government is going to be doing that. Itís true that they may be having other plans , before this time there has been some talks that the government might unveil the Fedcoin and through this Fedcoin they are going to be able to make lots of money from it. But this BTC part? Nah itís not something that seems possible to me.

Ironically, Bitcoin is only attractive to a lot of Bitcoin owners-- probably even the majority-- because of its price in USD or other fiat. I guess it is an undeniable fact that a lot of people who flocked to Bitcoin are essentially investors. If, for example, Bitcoin's USD equivalent would fall to, say $2,000, they would be extremely disappointed even if the reality is that their number of Bitcoins are intact. They would suddenly forget that 1BTC is 1BTC still and that the supply is still very much limited and so on.
Nobody really cares how much of BTC they are holding, whether it is 1 BTC or not, they are just more into how much it is worth in dollars. If someone is holding 1BTC that they got at $2000 and it falls to $500, they are definitely going to be so worried for sure. Itís been like that since the start, itís just the USD worth thatís attracting some of them.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading in the pandemic on: October 20, 2020, 10:47:18 AM
Peopleís interest is growing on steady. Havenít you noticed that itís not just individuals this time around, but companies too are getting on-board, and they are investing millions of dollars in mainly BTC. And as a day trader you will be trading on a steady no matter which direction the asset is heading to.

The situation of the normal person is very tragedy and it will improve their trading when we invest some huge amount in trading. Pandemic disturbed lots of middle-class people, which they cannot able to manage their finances for feeding themselves and it is impossible for them to trade in the current situation . We are seeing very huge down trend in the market and it will not help them to make profits.
Day Trading shouldnít be a ground for anyone who doesnít have enough finance to feed themselves, because youíre not going to have enough finance to trade. In trading youíre taking risks, and your main is plan is to win and make profit, but there is no guarantee for that since youíre here to take risks. So, what if you take that risk and the money vanishes due to lose, what are you going to do? Before you day-trade you have to know what youíre doing and have enough finance.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Rather learn to trade by yourself on: October 19, 2020, 09:00:22 PM
I have never given anybody my money to trade for me before, no matter how good they claim to be.
I have received several messages in the past from people who are claiming to be very good at trading and claim that if I should invest the money in their hands they are going to use it to make lots of money for me.

I never trusted any of them. Even if I have no skills in trading, I would just go with HODL and not stress my mind by giving my money to people I donít trust. At the end you will start hearing different stories about your money.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Money Supply Growth Has Never Been As High As It Is Today on: October 19, 2020, 08:12:26 PM
The Inflation is bound to affect not only the people but the country as a whole , but I do believe it's going to be worse for the nations who rely on import, even of basic things like flour and vegetables.
This is my major concern about my country, I expect more from them. We have some mineral resources, we have so many things, but I donít know why it is difficult for our government to strengthen those areas that will benefit economy. There are things we have naturally, but the government will still choose to import them, such a disgrace.

Instead of importing such things that we already have, why donít they set up funds to support Businesses that are focused on those areas. That way we wouldnít have to be importing, rather we export.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: would deflation economy give defi a boost? on: October 19, 2020, 04:56:56 PM
Talking about that second point: coins that are having a decreasing supply due to the ones that are being burnt, I have not really understood what that is all about. Maybe it can lead to the price of the token increasing, since burning most of the tokens will leave a few and the worth of the few remaining tokens will be increasing. But after they are done burning off most of the tokens and only a few are left, so will they continue burning or what?

I just donít get this idea because I have not really looked into it, I am mostly all about old coins and all that, hardly get the time to look at new ones.

13  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Treasuries on: October 17, 2020, 07:13:28 PM
Yes, I have known about this Microstrategy and Galaxy digital holding. Then it was today that I saw news of Square INC saying that they have invested in bitcoin. Truth is a lot of institutions are becoming interested in bitcoin and as time goes a lot of them are buying and investing in Bitcoin.

There might still be some of them that we donít know, because they have not come out to say that they have invested in Bitcoin. Although I am not really sure about this, but it can still be possible, because you canít really tell who is investing in cryptocurrency unless they say so.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Adoption: A Breakthrough? on: October 17, 2020, 06:29:16 PM
As for the Binance card, if they are going to do things as you have said here, by making the card to be cheap, then itís sure going to be a winner. If itís not going to be like that, then itís probably going to be ending up like other cards there are like BitPay, and the rest of them.

Although I would say that they are usable in terms daily shopping routine, because they are issued by MasterCard and Visa, so where ever these two cards can be accepted you can always make use of the cryptocurrency cards. Even ATM, if the ATM has the logos on it, you can make use of those cards for withdrawal.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I just discover possible reason why btc is safe heaven on: October 13, 2020, 06:41:13 AM
The price is already above $11,000 right now, although it doesnít mean it wonít go down, since thatís not much, but at the same time there is still the chance that the price can continue going up from there. I have been holding my bitcoins for a long time now and I know one thing for sure that it will go up in future, even if the price should crash, there is more chances of going up in the future.

The problem some people are having is because they are always hoping for the price to go from $1 to $100,000 in a day, they are looking for quick money, but it doesnít work that way. It can take months, depending on when you invested for you to make a good profit from it. I tell people that if they canít have that kind of patience, then itís best they look for something else.

17  Economy / Economics / Re: Virus Bear Market? on: June 12, 2020, 04:26:08 PM
All they are doing is to just guess when the virus will end, but nobody knows when itís going to be. The lockdown that was initiated in every country didnít even work and now people are still going around and there even those that are protesting in so many countries for the Black Lives Matter stuff, which means that there is the probability for it to keep spreading from there, which I donít really wish for.

As for Bitcoin, these things can only affect it at the earlier time, but after some time it starts going back up. Thatís what happened with this Covid-19 situation, it dropped for a short time.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: May 07, 2020, 05:52:28 PM
I know very well that China has had plans to be the world power for a very long time, but I don't really know if all these things that are being said about them is the truth or not. If it's true, then they don't deserve to be the world power, this is a foolish move in the pursuit of power.

Seriously, it doesn't make any sense unleashing a pandemic and killing innocent people just because you want to be the world power. When this started earlier in Wuhan and they quickly built a large hospital, I just thought of it as a way that the Government is really doing what they could to protect their citizens, but this time around everything seems like they planned it and they were already prepared for it.

There's been a second wave coronavirus outbreak there though. I am just not sure about this, let's wait till it's all over and the truth will uncover itself.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: May 06, 2020, 07:34:30 PM
I still do not understand how crypto could be taxed if you could hide it well enough. There is no way that government could know about me and my bitcoin if I can hide it well and I do. So, right now I have been doing a little bit of earning in crypto which means nothing from my bank account goes to bitcoin, there is no connection there, I work hard and get paid in crypto.

After that money comes in to my bank account or not and the government usually doesn't ask there that money came from because they know that as long as I have money to spend I am bringing money to market and that is what they care about. The only tax I am paying right now is the tax when you buy something, even if you buy a loaf of bread you are paying taxes and that is the only one I am responsible for right now.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading vs. Investing. on: March 23, 2020, 05:05:33 PM
On the contrary I feel like investing is just a part of trading because you buy a certain asset/coin when it's price is low and you will sell it once the price goes up, this what we do in investing and trading both so I don't know how investing can be seen as not a part of trading because Trading requires 2 basic skills:

1- Investing: Having the ability to buy a coin when you know the price will rise eventually be it short term or long term.

2- Divesting: You must be able to sell your coins at the peak time.

So for me, investing is part of the trading system and every investment is made to be divested later.
