1  Economy / Goods / [WTS] Renaissance Art Leather Folder Holder ($125) on: November 23, 2015, 03:48:54 AM
I've had it for a few years and it's in great condition. I just finished treating it with Chamberlain's Leather Milk (Clean and Treat) and it's now looking even better than the original pictures. Price is $125 US plus shipping and escrow fees.

Color: Brown
Closure Style: Traditional

I'm not 100% sure that they're "dead". I'm almost positive that a deep dive into the hardware (on at least one) using the usb part controller would allow them to be reset. I just don't plan on spending the time to find out since I can't run them anymore. At $25 each it would cost more in shipping to get rid of them so it's not really worth it IMO. Either way If they sell, great. Worst that can happen is that someone says no. I appreciate the feedback though! Thanks.

Both Apologies (posting in the wrong area) and Thanks (moving to proper area) to the Moderators. Wink

I managed to run 2 miners for a month and saw my electric bill triple. I wasn’t surprised at all, but my wife was PISSED. So now I have to try to get something back on the equipment that I have. All equipment is being sold used / as-is. Due to the volatility of BTC there will be no refunds.

I'm in San Jose, CA. Local pickup is preferred if you're in the area, but otherwise terms are as follows:
Buyer must agree to cover:
- Purchase price (BTC)
- Shipping Costs (Anywhere in the U.S. - No Overseas shipping)
- Escrow charges (BTCrow)

Functional:
Antminer S5 (w/750W Power Supply) - $425
- Works very well
- Single (Original) fan has been replaced with two quiet 2300 rpm fans. Original fan will be included if you wish to restore to original configuration, but the push/pull config is SO much quieter.

Antminer S3 (w/600W Power Supply) - $225
- Works very well, No problems.

Non-Functional:
Antminer S3 (No Power Supply) - $75
- Unable to reset.
- Will not power up the ethernet port for configuration. Likely needs a deep dive into the internal workings to get the reset done.
- USB UART adapter will be included for you to figure out how to get it to reset. I just don’t have the time, patience, or a wife willing to tolerate it. Once it’s reset it SHOULD mine just fine.
- Has WiFi Antenna (included, but has not been installed).

Antminer S3 (No Power Supply) - $75
- Intermittently goes full speed on both fans for no apparent reason.
- Unable to get unit to reset
- Has WiFi Antenna installed.

Hi all.

Was wondering if I might get a little bit of help. I picked up 3 AntMiner S3s a while back and currently have 2 of the 3 (#2 & #3) up and running just fine. The first one, however, was my learning curve and I accidentally deleted the LAN config from the interface when initially trying to set the unit up. Now I'm unable to get it to factory reset so that I can properly configure it.

When I turn the unit on it'll start with the typical steady flashing red LED which, after a few seconds, starts to quickly flash then goes solid along with the green light. During this time at initial startup the green LED on the ethernet port blinks about 4 times then shuts off completely going forward. At this point, no form of reset that I've found yet works.

The only time I can get any type of change is if I  double tap the reset button which will get the ethernet port to blink a few more times and then shut back off. At that point I have to restart to get any kind of result.

In all likelihood I've totally bricked the unit and there's nothing that can be done, but from what I've see the control boards on these are pretty damned resilient. It's just a pain in the ass to get a proper reset on them.

Opinions? Ideas? Suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any help!
