Bitpay will is no longer pegging to mtgox ( http://blog.bitpay.com/) and I think mtgox prices are going to cease to be as reflective of the market as they have been in the past (assuming suspending dollar withdrawals negatively impacts their volume). I've been using bitcoinity and clark moody for mtgox price feeds. Is there a service which aggregates the several exchanges with level 2 quotes plus time and sales? Thanks in advance

Hi, is there any update on teek.a shares? I have verified my claim but I suspect it won't ever be paid out.
My claim was honored. Sorry for taking up space here.

^^^^^ HA! I love that guy. I was sorry when he left DR. Glad to see he's on-board with bitcoin. All the rest of the gold-guys will be on-board as soon as they can figure a way to make it profitable for themselves.

Hi Teek. I would like more information on how the 'minimum liquidity' level is established. I don't see a whole lot of volume on the teek.a security. Certainly not 5% of the outstanding bonds are being repurchased weekly as some weeks zero bonds get purchased at all. Thanks for the clarification.

Wow, I'm glad I read this post. I went and checked bitmit and sure enough I had an order in there from 2 weeks ago!

Hi everyone!
The coffee shipping from the states is ground coffee that was purchased a month ago, so it shouldn't be stale yet. I have 5 packages for sale. It is not Mondulkiri coffee but it is delicious. The beans are roasted in vegetable fat which gives it a unique flavor.
Mondulkiri is a province in Cambodia and it is also a brand of coffee sold there (roasted beans, not sure about green). Shipping prices might be expensive from Cambodia but I am happy to look into it for anyone who is interested. Please send me a PM with how much you would like and where to ship and I will respond with the exact prices.
Thanks!

Hello, I put up some listings on Bitmit for Coffee and Peppercorns from Cambodia. Both products are delicious and Cambodia is known for producing the best pepper in the world. Check it out! https://www.bitmit.net/en/items-from-KHThanks

@tosaki: I want to export Cambodian goods. Everything here is very cheap and of much higher quality than they get credit for. I put a listing on bitmit for pepper: http://www.bitmit.net/en/trade/i/4451-1-2-ounce-bag-cambodian-pepper-cornsI tried adding a listing for coffee but am having problems with the site. @xenland: Thanks. I don't have high expectations for this project but if I ever get a website going I'll definitely be using it.

I meant coffee, pepper, silk, rice, and maybe some others. That's a great site though, I'll definitely be using it.

I want to create a website to facilitate the purchase of commodities produced in Cambodia. I want a simple format for 4 or 5 products, a page for each, and a way to 'check out'. I also need someone who wants to enjoy seeing if this project succeeds and can work with me in getting it off the ground. I don't think it will take a whole lot of effort to set up the website. I'd be more interested in giving you a piece of equity than paying you up-front because I'm not sure yet how plausible the idea is. So if you have some patience and are looking for an interesting project then please send me a message. Cheers!

I have some pretty newbie questions about accepting bitcoin as payment.
I want to create a single point-of-sale, no-frills webpage for order entry. Enter your address and send payment to this btc address, 'GO'. I have existing customers so all I want is to streamline the process for them with an online order-form which would send me an email every time a new order comes in.
I'm not a developer. I have a friend who will help me but he isn't very familiar with bitcoin yet. So here is what I want to know:
1. Should I accept payment directly to my wallet? Or should I use a 3rd party? 2. Are there any security issues with broadcasting the bitcoin addresses in my wallet to the world? 3. How do I get my website to update with a new BTC address every time an order comes in? (I'm assuming it's a good idea to use unique addresses for every order, right?) 4. Is there a decent guide/faq on how to incorporate btc as payment on a website?
Thanks in advance

I really like the way this thread is going and it's been fun clicking through the websites in your signatures. As a 'non-developer,' I've been earning bitcoins through commerce like many others. As in the real-world, most entrepreneurs capitalize on their existing skills and knowledge. Accountants get private clients and do their taxes, teachers get private students, mechanics repair their friends' cars, etc. So i think it's pretty cool when non tech-wizards are able to get in and make a profit.

Vladimir and Kris, thanks! So what are your personal experiences and what inspired your ideas? What were your ideas and was it hard to make them profitable?

It's pretty exciting coming across these forums and seeing all the energy and enthusiasm being poured into such an innovative and potentially world-altering technology. I think most people here have technology backgrounds and so becoming a bitcoin entrepreneur was a natural extension of their passion for technology. How many bitcoin-businesses are profitable? Probably not that many relative to the total number of ventures out there. But every failed venture still contributes something important to the overall economy/community of this experiment in digital money. My question is: how does one become a bitcoin entrepreneur? Yes, the question is vague, but I'd really like to hear the conversation (from whatever perspective) if you'll entertain it. Thanks!

Refund was received. You rock.

Ok, that sounds good, thanks. I PMd you my bitcoin address. Sorry the WU service didn't work out. I really appreciate your communication. I hope your business gets a big boost from the growing dissatisfaction with a certain large exchange which will go unnamed. I'll certainly be back, thanks.

I had to wait 7 weeks before I received funds from Mtgox. I initiated a wire which was rejected by their bank 2 weeks later. Mtgox asked me to make the same transfer again and it would be processed. I did. 2 weeks later the second wire xfer was rejected by their bank. I was asked to open a new local bank account, which I did. I then initiated a 3rd bank wire. The funds hit my account yesterday, 12 days after the 3rd wire xfer. I was also told I was at fault for not knowing their policy.
Alternatively, on Monday I made a Western Union transfer from spendbitcoins and the transfer was processed on the same day.

I used the Western Union spendbitcoins service and I received my money in the same day, which was great.
However, I was quoted (assuming dollar parity) to get $945. I only recieved $875.
When I entered my order, I sent over $1000 worth of coins (199.5 @ $5.04).
I'm not sure if it was in error or deliberate, but the fee seems a bit unreasonable.
