I made two successful Credit Card transactions tonight with Coin.mx and everything went smoothly. Their live chat person, Jessica, walked me though every step of the verification process. I couldn't be more happy with the transactions!

mtgox last or weighted?
At $125 per btc last i checked (idc if its a little bit off, i prefer round numbers) $350/125 would be 2.8btc : / 2.45 * 125 = $306? Also, I may not be able to trade with moneypal (my apologies, I know you specifically stated it in the OP), its just that im from UK, and dont know how to use it. If i know how to use it, i can sell it(btc) to ya. Yea, I believe MP will cause problems for ya if you're not in the states. Thanks anyways! bump

Received a $100 Visa Vanilla prepaid gift card as a birthday present, would like to exchange for BTC. Never used one of these cards, but I understand I can link it to my paypal. As much as I hate paypal+BTC, any offers?
Closed. Was easier to find someone IRL to trade cash for it.

If you can't find a trade here, there's always Get-Bitcoin which takes prepaid credit cards: - http://www.Get-Bitcoin.comooo thanks, didn't realize get-bitcoin exchanged these things (i've always used moneypaks). Can anyone offer a better offer than get-bitcoin's 3% surcharge? bahhh and reading their terms, you have to physically mail the card to them Q.Q

Hi,
I'd like to request a whitelist out of just the newbie section. Long time lurker, new to the forums. I have had successful trades on #bitcoin-otc with members, and am interested in posting in the mining section. (Looking to get into a small amount of mining with my current rig).
Thanks!

I wouldn't put any money into mining hardware if I were you. However, it's quite easy to make your own calculations. There are online "mining calculators" you can use if you want to. Also, keep in mind that people who are miners themselves are interested in keeping other people away from mining, since the mining difficulty (and thus, the mining profit) increases when more power is put into mining.
That's what I figured. I wish I had gotten on the mining bandwagon back when the system was new, and the profitability was higher. Based on some of the calculators I've toyed with, it would take me way too long to break even after buying new hardware, and I don't feel like blowing out my current rig for very little profit.
