1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Cointerra Class-Action Lawsuit on: September 26, 2014, 07:20:41 PM
I am glad I found this post. I might join as well.

They have declined to provide warranty support for my machines, does not perform to spec.

byte1, perhaps I was a little unclear. Try this:

# cd /Angstrom/Cointerra/
# echo 'admin:' > ./lighttpd.password

JoseSan, That worked. Thank you!

JoseSan: I tried this, and it did not help.

# sudo su root ./lighttpd.password defaults

Can someone tell me how to reset the password for "admin" using SSH? I cannot seem to login anymore using the GUI interface. I still have SSH root  access.

I can do a master reset, but i want to avoid that process.

To Cointerra, when you give us an option to change a password, make sure you get it twice so people like me with fat fingers do not type in the wrong letters.

I have the same problem as others on this forum, I do not get full speed as advertised. One runs at 600GHash and the second board runs at 800 GHash.

What I paid for: 2TH
Performance claim after 2 months of delays: 1.6TH
What they finally delivered: 1.4TH

Thanks!

Yes, it works. I have received emails within 10-20 mins.

I just think that you get better results here because of DGM. Other pools use PPS or PPLNS.

This seems like a nice idea, but somewhere in there are laws that prevent money laundering and this might be an example on why you should not be doing this. As users, you are fine, but the business model is mute.
9  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MTgox Account Got Hacked on: August 24, 2013, 10:59:59 PM
I am using Linux , i am IT  so i am pretty sure that the computer is not compromised

The only thing i see possible i did mistake when i started use bitcoin i used same password as bitcointalk

there is no other possible way the password is 8 char long with Upper and lowercase

i can only blame myself that i was not using 2FA but lesson learned i post this that maybe it can help or will help someone in futur

You work in IT and set your password as "bitcointalk" ?

Thanks for that information. I am now 100% sure it is the USB hub that is failing.  I am on a shared host and most likely connected through a hub.

Yes, hosted at kcmocolo. I am having to reboot the minirig at times to fix this problem. I do not have a problem with another MiniRig that is rated at 480 GH/s. If you are familiar with their setup, how are the minirigs connected with one another? I am assuming through a USB hub?

Its a BFL ASIC MiniRig with 360 GH/s(custom configured). It drops down to 240 GH/s after a while or even 180 GH/s and stays there until i reboot. It does reach its fully intended hash rate of 360 GH/s for sometime, maybe a day or two.

Thanks for your response, yes I am looking at the dashboard. I have two units, one reports the correct hash rate all the time, but the other drops down to half and stays at half the rated speed until i cold reboot(no stale/rejects reported). I do understand your explanation about average hash rate being reported on the dashboard. But, I think my issue may be something else. I wanted to confirm that it is not related to minimum difficulty being set automatically or hardware related.

I have a different problem, my hash rate drops almost to half overtime, since i do not have access to my machines (hosted) I assume they are using EasyMiner to connect to EMC. Is this a hardware issue or something to do with configuration setting?

@zeroblock

I have had funds flow through with a 2 week delay, its not a big amount, but they are catching up.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Why The Price Difference Between MtGox & BitStamp? on: August 19, 2013, 06:38:06 PM
It is not like you cannot get USD out of MtGox, you have to wait. The waiting part is what prevents people from going there.

Locked out of my account due to Google Authenticator. Any chance my account can be unlocked? Still have some BTC in it.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Encrypted wallet.dat, lost password, any solutions? on: August 15, 2013, 04:08:01 PM
