We need more bottom pics.

The first google search for a bottom is...not a bottom

Maybe his 1500 number is incorrect, though, it is difficult to pin down.

Whatever the number is, as time goes on and as value goes up, that number will shrink.

We may never be able to purchase BTC for less than 5 digits again, ever.  You heard it here, first. #nohomo

Furthermore, I am not even clear if the various (perhaps 5-ish clusters, give or take 1 cluster) short-term sinkenings below 5 digits between 9/3 and 9/8 would have counted as sub 5 digits, since the BTC price never did close any daily candle below 5 digits.

In other words, if no daily candle closed below 5 digits, did below 5 digits even happen?  #justasking   Lips sealed

I'd go by daily candle closes, which implies that a true trading opportunity has arrived. Taken to the other extreme, if a single satoshi trades under 5 digits, would that count? I'd argue no, flash drops like that can be considered insignificant noise.

I'm discussing about this/related on my local board. Here is the thing : can we expect the BTC protocol to evolve at one point to make private keys more secure ? Like making their size bigger (4096 bits instead of 256) so that instead of making a collision almost impossible, it would become totally impossible ? To fend off advances in computing.

256 is totally impossible.

aesma isn't my name, if it was it would be a bit strange too, although most people don't know what it means, and don't check.

I learned not to check on names when I loaned my friend my MMORPG account and he created a character named Lemon Party. Big mistake.

Exactly. Knowing the 12 words but not the order implies only ~29 bits of entropy between an attacker and your key.

How would an attacker ever gain access to the words but not the order?

In the UK you could get 6-7% on a normal savings account without heavy conditions all day long up until 2008. I used to pay the rent on my flat from interest and still had plenty left over. Now that idea is laughable. And 1% will be offered by a tiny fraction of joints today and will likely require it to be locked up for a period of time.

That's an above-average return. The 2000's were more in the 4-5% range.

Just my 25 öre on the mask thing.
where I live (Sweden) there is no law requiring you to wear a mask, and nobody does.

#8 in the world in Deaths Per Capita. Hardly a shining example of how to save lives.

I'll rephrase:
Show me how a mask saves lives. We know how belts do.

No camera footage exists of all his rounds trips with all the guns and ammo. (My understanding is there are also hidden security cameras inside the high-end hotel suites like the one he was in). He had been checked into the hotel for a week, and still zero footage.

Sure there is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCfC7riTfms

Huh At the risk of uttering a tautology, exactly as much bitcoin is bought as the amount that is sold.

Touche!

When I say "seller" or "buyer", I mean the trader who executes (completes) the trade.

But there are some interesting assumptions in this idea from my vantage point.  This idea seems to rely on the basis that wealth is a zero sum game.  As in - value cannot be created, but has to arise directly from existing value.

But the market cap of bitcoin will not rise X because X value is put into it.  It will rise Z when X value is put in.

Bitcoin is currently worth ~200 billion.  How much money has to flow in for it to be worth 1 trillion?  I do not believe the answer is 800billion.

Price goes up when buyers buy more than sellers sell. It has *nothing* to do with "incoming" money. Market cap is meaningless.

July was not the poll favorite for breakout.

So I have a confession
I sold all my bitcoin last year and went all in on Tesla  @$350.

Tesla is succeeding despite all the odds against them.
Bitcoin is succeeding because all the odds are with them.

A little bit. Yes. Our history is what it is. Destroying historical artifacts is fucking retarded.

When you come home to find your dog shit on the carpet, do you leave it there because it's history or do you clean it up because it's shit? Confederate monuments are shit.
