Finally posted Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

Saudi Arabia oil supply was attacked. There is reason to believe that we know the culprit, are locked and loaded depending on verification, but are waiting to hear from the Kingdom as to who they believe was the cause of this attack, and under what terms we would proceed!

There's always a tweet.

Saudi Arabia should fight their own wars, which they won't, or pay us an absolute fortune to protect them and their great wealth-$ trillion!

You don't have to open a channel to every person in the world you *potentially* might need! Most people would need 5-6 channels opened where they make payments on regular basis.

  • Mortgage bank
  • Utility companies
  • Grocery store
  • Drug dealer
  • Escort service

That about covers the regular payments.

If you buy a ship like this you can occasionally rent it out. They go for $425,000 a week so rent it out 10-20 weeks a year and your running costs are zero.

I think you would need to be a billionaire to do something like this.
So if you hold 1 BTC you need to wait 10 years  Grin

If anyone gets a ship like that don't forget to host a WO party 🤪😇

Sounds like a crowdfunding is in order. Rent it out for half the year to cover maintenance, then the owners get to use it for half a year. #BitcoinYacht.

Bitmain just announced their new S17e and T17e, the sudden spike in hash rate could be related to "burn-in" testing of these @bitmain </sarcasm>:

Surely they burn-in on a private blockchain. Right? Right!

1 billion dollars... moved easily, securely and without any third party. Bitcoin really is amazing

Yeah, but 480.115 sat/B fee? That's a huge fee!

70. Too much co2? How about too little? At what point do we have a planet wide biological dieoff?

"Too little?" Yeah, that's not gonna happen.

HodlWave Chart

This chart shows you UTXO Age distribution according to the USD price. UTXO age distribution shows bitcoins in a duration of time based on when the coins last moved.

Damn that's a bullish chart. Although the raw bitcoin supply is growing, long-term hodlers are growing faster. That means the net supply available on the market is shrinking.

Hodlllllllllllllll / StrongHats

I need something a little more...substantial to HODL on to.

If there is no trust with actual 1.1mil btc and by actual I mean btc for which the trust has private keys for, then it is even more idiotic than i thought.
Let's toast to this!

Highly unlikely such a trust actually exists.

Christians believe that Christ has already come to save us.
Jewish people believe the messiah has yet to come.
You cannot be Jewish and Christian in my books...

I don’t believe but I just wanted to note this fact...

Because the Jewish people are not the same as the Jewish religion. Jews can convert to other religions, and other people can convert to Judaism.

Let alone the fact that the 16th Amendment was fraudulently declared as enacted by Secretary of State Philander Knox, without the acquiescence of the requisite 2/3 of all states ratifying.

So much wrong I can't address it all, so I'll just correct one item and declare your entire post invalid.

"when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states"

Stop quoting that image. I'd rather see a Lemon Party.

Be safe...

FSD is their terminology, not mine:

Starting today, Tesla is splitting Autopilot into two packages: regular Autopilot, with automatic steering on highways and traffic-aware cruise control; and Full Self-Driving Capability, with Tesla’s recently unveiled “Navigate on Autopilot” feature that guides the car from “on-ramp to off-ramp” by suggesting and making lane changes, navigating highway interchanges, and proactively taking exits.

it's just marketing lingo. Most people get it, but they should not have been able to use this language.

I love Tesla and their technology, but that does not seem wise to be calling it that. When lives are on the line, you underpromise and overdeliver, not the other way around.

How is that inconsistent with low difficulty on a single laptop?

Even if multiple machines, which I doubt, I don’t know how you can say with confidence that sequential nonces aren’t just crappy code shared by all machines.  To state the bleeding obvious, if all clients count their nonces starting at “1”, and then “1 + 1” etc, your blockchain will have a series of nonces counting in order.

None of this pool conspiracy theory makes any sense.

Early analysis implied that Satoshi was running many computers. I missed seeing a later update that fits more in line with a quad-core desktop miner: https://bitslog.com/2013/09/04/satoshi-machine-one-mystery-is-solved-and-another-opens/

What is more likely is that several computers or servers were used to mine the first million coins. Since there were no pools, each mined coin comes from a wallet on different computers.

Multiple computers can all use the same wallet. But the nonces on the blocks indicate that they came from a single "system" that was very fast, probably some sort of pool-like configuration.

Would transaction throughput increase with block size?

Yes.

Would confirmation times remain the same?

Mostly yes. Network efficiency will degrade, but difficulty will adjust to mostly compensate.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 30, 2019, 12:47:47 AM
Other than the fact that Satoshi's original release had no set limit on block size. Well, there is that.

No explicit limit, but other parts of the protocol limited the blocks to 32MB.
