Arch Linux - only install what you want (seriously, it doesn't even come with a desktop installed) to keep everything light. Plus, you learn all about Linux while setting it up.

Typing in a CAPTCHA is a service. I've been tempted to make a website which looks like dailybitcoins, but is actually a backend for decaptcher. Looking at ads is also a service. At CoinAd you look at ads, with that surfing offer you look at webpages. Which are mostly ad webpages. I see no real difference other than time.

As for bitcointribe, they haven't spammed me yet, and I verified that it works.

Just for surfing websites, you can earn 0.01 BTC!
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=88880.msg979505#msg979505

That's a more than you'd get between all the other faucets combined!
1929  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Membergroups; or: Why do some users get colored coins under their names? on: June 30, 2012, 07:24:18 PM
We do, it's called the Web of Trust. Personally, I have no problem trading with donators / VIP's in small amounts: that colored coin will disappear behind 5 X's if they scam me, and then that's 10/50 BTC "lost" on their side.

That's what they want you to THINK! I'd be willing to bet that I could write a bot to break the captcha reasonably often.
Basically, you already have a 2/5 chance of getting the dup image one right, and a 1/3 of getting the math one right.
Telling the difference between the two is easy.
For the math ones, just use a decaptcher backend.
For the others, split the image into 5 images. Then, take the average R, G, and B of each image. Compare these. That will rate them on similar colors.
Count the white pixels in each image. Compare these. That will rate them on shape, since most of the pure white is outside of the image.
I bet 90% success rate.

Edit: I surfed > 100 sites without a bot.
account name is nimdaBTC
pay to 1CRHrw3DdtUuvBvYhZ5GK6fCFgZtRNn49y

Also, looking around the site, it seems that basically you are selling 0.01 BTC for $0.10
1935  Economy / Services / Re: Free 0.01 BTC + 100 views to your selected website + various bonuses on: June 29, 2012, 03:54:00 AM
So the question comes up... does it take longer to surf 100 websites for 20 seconds each or to write a bot to do it for you?
1936  Economy / Services / Re: [Done] Offering 1.5 BTC for a lesson via Skype on GPG on: June 29, 2012, 03:19:45 AM
We had a nice chat over Skype. Everything went fairly smoothly and he paid me more than we agreed on because we spent longer than planned. Now all one of us needs is a "bootstrap" rating  Roll Eyes
