Can I play more than once, naked short the coin for a week, and have the next guy pay for my losses? Tongue
904  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Humble Bundle Gift Code on: March 07, 2013, 12:36:14 AM
Sorry, this offer was filled by Synaps3 on IRC for 0.2 BTC. I'll lock the thread.

(Side note: this is a great way to accept PayPal...)
905  Economy / Digital goods / [Filled][WTB] Humble Bundle Gift Code on: March 06, 2013, 10:58:26 PM
Simple. Purchase a gift code with credit card, Amazon, PayPal, or Google Wallet here: https://www.humblebundle.com/
Pay more than the average (currently $6.64).

Give me an offer.
906  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BitcoinStore.com (Beta) - Electronics super store with over 500K items! on: March 04, 2013, 11:12:29 PM
I can drill down through the links on Newegg to get a list of all internal SATA 3.5" form factor 7200 RPM hard drives with a capacity of 2 TB.

With Bitcoinstore I'm limited to keyword searches or manually browsing through all 647 "Storage drives" to pick out the ones I want to compare.
That!
Prevented me from buying a flash drive, in any case.
907  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-03-04 - The Verge - New Bitcoin-only electronics retailer hopes to undercut on: March 04, 2013, 09:37:28 PM
It is really true that cash is widely used to purchase child porn. I never see that accusation thrown around, but there are many sources to back that claim up.

908  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] 1.85 BTC for $65 USD on: March 04, 2013, 03:57:35 AM
I'd sell the bitcoins to you if the risk of you taking the 0.925 BTC and never mailing the cash weren't absurdly high. I think at this point I have enough of a reputation that I can be trusted with a less than 2 BTC transaction, but that's up to you.

Why not use python 3?

Yep. It's easy to see why the stance would be hard for a non-native speaker to discern

We must rage against these margin-traipsing ne’er-do-wells. And we must sully the name of their wretched cyber currency initiative.

911  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [ANN] Cognitive Cryptography VPN - A new cheap, fast VPN. Launched! on: March 03, 2013, 04:47:29 PM
Trial period was too short for me to test security, but I was able to test speeds (fast! limited by my end, not theirs) and the external IP address, which changed while using the service. I was also able to set up the VPN on my Android phone.

The service was smooth, and the MtGox checkout worked well.
912  Economy / Services / Re: Alpha testers needed for our new VPN! info inside on: March 02, 2013, 03:36:05 AM
I was under the impression that I had a test plan, not a test account, but alright.
913  Economy / Services / Re: Alpha testers needed for our new VPN! info inside on: March 02, 2013, 02:52:01 AM
Was my account cancelled? Auth keeps failing. It was working fine before, but now I can't log in.
914  Economy / Services / Re: Alpha testers needed for our new VPN! info inside on: February 28, 2013, 02:35:37 AM
I can't yet say anything about the security, but I've configured it on my Android and the external ip address has changed.
915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: USB Selfbooting Solid State Wallets - Secure - Manufacturer Needed! on: February 27, 2013, 02:02:31 AM
Assuming that a manufacturer made purpose-built Bitcoin device is automatically better is wrong. I wouldn't trust anything with software loaded up in a Chinese factory with my money, especially a device they know will contain my money.

That is a good point...  (conspiracy back door key... lol)  Makes you wonder...

So... Then how do you (the bitcointalk users) tell people with almost zero tech skills how to make a high security wallet? As they all probably own a Windoze machine anyways.  Also, it has to be easy to use... Haha, think of all those CEO's, CFO, etc. out there... JK  Cool

917  Other / Meta / Re: [Bookmarklet] Open all "new" links (watchlist, unread, new replies, etc) on: February 25, 2013, 11:05:39 PM
Probably should reload the watchlist afterward.
Code:
javascript:(function(){var ls=new Array();var ln=document.links.length;var h;var n;for(i=0;i<ln;i++){h=document.links[i].href;if(h.indexOf('new')>0){ls.push(h);}}if(ls.length > 8){n=prompt("How many links%3F",8);}else{n=ls.length;}for(i=0;i<n;i++){window.open(ls[i]);}location.reload();void(0);})();
918  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-02-23 cnet.com - Need Bitcoins? This ATM takes dollars and funds your accou on: February 24, 2013, 02:47:20 AM
In freaking New Hampshire? Damn it, my area never gets anything cool...  Cry
I want to move to NH. Seems like they have the most Bitcoin traction, and NH will probably be the first state to reach critical mass.
919  Other / Off-topic / Re: Opinions needed on: February 22, 2013, 11:53:57 PM
Yes i know, im not a grammar master! xD Ill be updating, any more input aside from the fact that i sometimes write like a 3 year old?  Cheesy
The "Home Widget" 1, 2, and 3 seem redundant, and give no explanation of what a "home widget" is.

The black footer is too tall; without it, there's no need for a scrollbar at my resolution.
