2081  Economy / Speculation / Re: Question Saturday 08/12/17 Is Bitcoin going up to $4300 in next 2 days, Y or N? on: August 13, 2017, 04:08:41 AM
But what i am worried about is the altcoins that are going down. I have invested my money in them and they have dropped down to nearly 50% which is such a bad thing for me. I can sell them and get my native currency without a loss but i ll be losing the bitcoins which i dont want to.

oops...

I felt pretty shitty a while ago when BTC went down and ETH mooned.. It happens..
2082  Economy / Speculation / Re: Old hands, what is your current engagement level? on: August 12, 2017, 04:46:58 PM
I'm definitely not that old of a hand but a portion of the coin I hold I've ad since it hit the $190s a couple years ago..

I have never bought BTC or any altcoin with fiat but I got 0.01 BTC for free a long time ago and have since put a MASSIVE amount of time and effort into trading and making it grow.. Not that it was all "work" because I have enjoyed myself doing it but my holdings now are just about becoming worth the time I put into them..

I don't really have a whole lot, not a life changing amount really, but it's a nice security blanket incase anything in my life goes terribly wrong I could fall back on it and survive..

I sold some BTC once and greatly regret it, I have also lost a lot trading this or that and made a bad investment here and there but I don't really regret those because all in all I'e done pretty well and you just can't win em all.. In trading I find that if I take almost as much losses as I do gains then I am doing well because my gains are bigger than my losses..

I'm just going to pretty much keep holding my BTC, if it falls back down to $1500 from here I might be a bit sad I didn't short because I don't have the time to keep up with it constantly these days, but another rise will eventually come in a few years if it crashes now..

I have been saying "BTC to $10k" for years and right now it may finally be coming true, who knows.. Maybe back to 1-2k it goes..
It's been a hell of a ride..
2083  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: how to send 1000 satoshi payment? on: August 12, 2017, 04:06:30 PM
Using Bitcoin Cash unless you want to pay a fee of 5000 satoshis

How does bitcoin cash solve this?

I would use good old Doge..

2085  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 1 BTC on 3 coins Casascius and Bitpiece on: August 12, 2017, 12:55:53 AM
Make offer, I will sell them separately..
2086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Satoshi Emails on: August 12, 2017, 12:51:40 AM
I think I read somewhere that Theymos? has more emails/private messages that he would eventually publish in 2020 or something like that?
2087  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 1 BTC on 3 coins Casascius and Bitpiece on: August 10, 2017, 01:33:38 AM
FYI, it will not have stellar lumens on it.  Stellar lumens need to be claimed by signing a message during specific giveaway times.  You would need to peel the coin within the next few weeks and sign a message to claim the xlm.

You are right, I forgot about that deadline..
2088  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Alarms when prices raise and fall? on: August 09, 2017, 11:03:34 PM
You can set alarms here.. https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/bitfinex/btcusd

It's under tools..
2089  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 1 BTC on 3 coins Casascius and Bitpiece on: August 09, 2017, 10:46:10 PM
One of those slabs looks cracked all along the RHS of the back ....is it? If so, why no piece of tape to stop air? What are you looking to get out of the 2 graded ones, might I ask?

You are right, that one does seem to have some stress marks in the plastic case..
Quite unfortunate.. It's not cracked like it will move or anything, like stress cracks right there.. Something must have happened to it while I was away..
Maybe it should be cracked open and put in another case or something..
I think you should buy it and do whatever you think is best Smiley

I would be pretty happy with 0.65 BTC plus buyers choice of shipping insurance, and escrow..
I'd ship em for free with no insurance but buyer can pay for whatever level of insurance he would want..

This is only .05 BTC each coin premium over the value of the crypto on the keys....
2090  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 1 BTC on 3 coins Casascius and Bitpiece on: August 09, 2017, 06:01:10 PM

31 and 35 /100
2091  Economy / Collectibles / 1 BTC on 3 coins Casascius and Bitpiece on: August 09, 2017, 05:42:57 PM
The Casascius is a 2013 half .5 and in near perfect condition.. It should have BTC, Clams, Stellar Lumens, and Bitcoin cash on it.. Maybe even more...

The 2 Bitpiece should have BTC, Bitcoin Cash, Stellar Lumens, and maybe more on them.. They are graded MS 67 and 68..
Bad pic of them..

They are XX/100 coins so pretty rare but 2016 so not very old..

They are all loaded, not peeled, not damaged, 1 full BTC on them + extras..

I mostly bought these to cold store BTC so I didn't have to fool around with my own cold wallets and keep me from spending/loosing my hard earned BTC, but I am pretty comfortable with cold storage these days so I'd rather have my BTC back on addys, sell these for BTC..

Go ahead and make an offer and/or comment of what you think the current market price would be about for these coins..
I doubt I am going to get my original purchase price in BTC out of them..

If a serious buyer comes around I can do some pics with my screen name, sign old addresses and whatnot..
Coins are the the USA..

0.45 xlm.. Too much hassle trying to get them lol
No, it's $0.45 USD worth of xlm.. A bit over 20 xlm..

All you have to do is sweep the key, a lot of posters on here do more for $0.10 BTC..
2094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So has Roger Ver dumped his BTC for BCC yet? on: August 05, 2017, 04:08:14 PM

But slippage.. I don't know your vol or the liquidity..
