lol nice memes..

I was "trading" yesterday like ptsd fomo thinking it was going to go up, then thinking it was going to go down..
In the end I lost like 1% changing my mind too much and said screw it..
2305  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does anyone "Day Trade" Bitcoin on: January 11, 2017, 05:00:47 AM
That's pretty much what I do but not every day..
Trade for a few hours and back all in BTC when I'm done..
A lot of the time I never even sell the BTC and just use my available margin..

Trading on huobi, no fees is great for high frequency trades but sometimes I think it screws me giving the worst possible price on market orders, and if you were margin long before that dump you were liquidated toast because I couldn't get a trade in edgewise it was freezing all up crazy..

Reliable?  Crypto exchange? Eh..
Even kraken was freezing the other day and was it stamp or finex that was just down for a while today?

It didn't steal my coins.. Yet..

2306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] <redacted> (seeking opinions) on: January 11, 2017, 04:48:57 AM
China..
So china listen up.. The ICO is for these $1 coins that will be pegged to the USD BUT the ICO price is $1.10 in CNY..
If you think about it it's a great deal because if you buy it right now in $1.10 CNY value by time the thing gets around to the initial release your CNY will only be worth $0.10 so you will make 10X YOUR MONEY!!

2308  Economy / Reputation / Re: ATTENTION: Ive been HACKED Account is now secure. Have 'we' talked in past week? on: January 11, 2017, 02:47:00 AM
You better hope you haven't been rat'd and the hacker is just laying low, if you already changed you PW's on that computer or entered your Bitcoin Passphrase then you are pretty much screwed as he can hit you at any given time, it happened to me twice (Besides my offline wallet), the bastard flushed my exchange accounts out, then the 2nd time within the fortnight of the original hack was trying to sell my Bitcointalk account after doing some shady dealings and scamming others then popping pictures up on my PC of FBI related things Roll Eyes What a wanker, lesson learned though and they were caught out through PM logs through my email address since they were deleting them browser side (They literally watched my PC usage and sleep patterns for when I used my PC), once compromised always disconnect the affected PC from the Internet, Change All Passwords on another PC that isn't compromised and then backup wallet.dat files + what is important and then reformat the affected PC to be sure.

Yeah that, plus...

You just gave your hacker a sweet treat with that there message as now mr hacker can just copy paste your signed message and use it to prove he is you to anyone else that doesn't know better because it is an extremely general message and you didn't include a date!!

I remember not too long ago someone else guaranteed a $X floor..
I watched it last like 20 seconds..

Who is going to foot the bill for these miners dumping $200 every 2 minutes?
You know miners just love to dump..
2310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 10, 2017, 06:06:57 PM
Wisdom showed some trades and then I refreshed it and the chart went back flat like they never happened..
2311  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is your experience with OKCoin on: January 10, 2017, 04:26:14 PM
I watch their live chart and depth the most in my daytrading.. I think it is the best chart out there..

It rubs me raw that I can't use them because I'm from the USA..
Though I do hear shady stuff like placed orders not filling and unexplained margin calls from them..
2312  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction accelerator is it true or not? on: January 10, 2017, 04:15:56 PM
I'm interested to use this service, but how to use them? First thing to do is make a transaction right? Where i need to pay tx fees? When i used desktop wallet.

If you ever happen to make a transaction and it isn't confirming in the next block(s) right away, THEN use this tool to help it get it's first confirmation..

You never pay a fee to this tool, but, if you are trying to send with no fee this tool will not help you...

Put it this way...
When Bitcoin gets bogged down, overloaded with transactions, if you want your TX to confirm in a reasonable time you have to add a higher fee to your TX like 50k sat or 100k sat, or just use the standard 10k sat fee and push the TX to VIABTC pool with this tool, it may still skip a few blocks that other miners/pools hit, but the next block found by VIA will confirm your TX..
2313  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction accelerator is it true or not? on: January 10, 2017, 04:09:05 PM
It doesn't really "accelerate" transactions.
When you submit your transaction to that page your transaction will be included in a block mined by ViaBTC, so if they mines a block a hour after you submitted your transaction there's a chance that your transaction will be included in that block.
But sometimes ViaBTC (or any other pool, really) can take a long time to find a block, when that happens your transaction will have to wait normally like any other transactions until ViaBTC find a block and includes your transaction in it.

I guess it does work since the transaction you "accelerated" was mined by ViaBTC.
So basically viabtc is just a group of people charging fee to include you transaction in their pool and for it to be confirmed faster than a transaction which isn't put in their pool they have to mine or include it first in their next block? So then it's just prioritizing the transaction but it still doesn't guarantee that a non accelerated transaction will confirm first than the transactiocthat was sent in viabtc?

No fee...

You make any standard BTC TX and pay the minimum network fee on it..
If things are chaotic at the time then often min fee is not enough to get your TX into the next block or the next 5 blocks..

VIABTC is a mining pool, big one..
You enter your TX into their tool and they will make sure to include that TX in their hashing, the next time the pool (VIABTC) finds a block, it makes sure your TX is in that block, and you get your first confirmation, your TX in the blockchain..

2314  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction accelerator is it true or not? on: January 10, 2017, 01:53:47 PM
During the big dump when there were 50k+ unconfirmed transactions waiting I sent with a standard 10k sat fee at the time the average fee for TXs getting confirmed was something like 350k sat..

My 10k sat fee TX was stuck and I used this accelerator and IT WORKED!!!
Worked like a charm and has worked more since..

Now that I know about this TX accelerator I would ALWAYS just use the min fee and bump it with this.
I'm stingy with my TX fees like that because every satoshi adds up, and I put in quite the effort to add up the satoshis..

This is one of the best crypto tools I have found and have it bookmarked..

No you don't have to pay anything other than the min fee on your TX in the first place, but if it's under the min fee this will not help you..

Looks good..
2316  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: LOOKING TO BUY BTC FROM A TRUSTED MEMBER VIA PAYPAL on: January 09, 2017, 02:14:24 PM
Listen up kids.

Throwing tantrums and pointing fingers and general acts of shitshowing never make for successful business. It also makes you look like someone who's scam has been revealed.

Successful traders are patient, polite and generally don't cry in public.

Tell you what.

If you pay me $75 in paypal...I will pay a trusted escrow to hold the $75 btc for the 1 year charge-back period and then release it to you if no charge-back has occurred. I will give positive trust at the end of the 1 year period.

Fair enough? That way nobody gets screwed.

Someone does get screwed. Him. He has to wait one year for $75. Do you think through the logic when you post something?

Why don't you sell him BTC for paypal then?
2317  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: LOOKING TO BUY BTC FROM A TRUSTED MEMBER VIA PAYPAL on: January 09, 2017, 01:56:54 PM
PayPal is the #1 payment processor. Sure there are scammers, but there are legit people. Get off your high horse my friend. People want to move from PayPal to bitcoin but when they get charged 50% after showing their ID on LocalBitcoins or when they get harassed here, they have no choice but to continue using PayPal.

Indeed, you took the words right outta my mouth. Some people will never realize that LocalBitcoins is anything but an ideal site to Purchase btc... & the other sites that sell would more less like for you to provide a DNA & urine sample just to get a verified account. Which is why Paypal is my preferred method, not because it gives me some unfair advantage over the seller smh

But it does, it gives you an EXTREME scammer advantage over even the most trusted BTC seller..

Payapl is our enemy, it represents everything us bitcoiners want to destroy..

Who in their right mind would want paypal anyway?
Even if the guy selling a Ferrari was offered 110% trade value in Kias would he take it?
Why would a sportscar connoisseur want a yard full of grocery getters?
2318  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: LOOKING TO BUY BTC FROM A TRUSTED MEMBER VIA PAYPAL on: January 09, 2017, 01:49:33 PM
Dude...

I almost moved to Tampa just now and checked out the BTC scene in the area...

Their is no shortage there of BTC dealers on Craigslist.. Find one of them and trade for cash in person at a coffee shop or something..

The simple fact is.. It is typical to scam people out of their BTC using paypal.. Paypal is terrible..
If you do find someone that will trade for your paypal, it could and very well should cost you a 25% premium due to the risk involved taking your paypal..

Grab some cash, look on Craigslist..
2319  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 09, 2017, 01:34:11 PM
Their were already 2 examples of this correction/pullback, whatever you want to call it, on the way to $1k in the first place..

I don't understand why people are so freaking about this.. It just broke almost every ATH.
Bitcoin is ALIVE..

Look at all the charts on blockchain.info

Do you guys think that the difficulty, hashrate, transactions, and many other metrics are going to pull back?
Do you think BTC is going to loose users from here? Nodes? Miners?

How about media exposure and general knowledge of BTC among normies? People knowing about it.. Is that going to start decreasing?

I think not..

We just barely dipped below the last ATH marketcap by just a couple million $ and are currently sitting above the old ATH marketcap still like it is our bottom.. We are literally bottoming on the old ATH marketcap right now..

Bitcoin is alive and well, better than ever, the price may go down for a bit but by almost all other measures BTC is up and up..
2320  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The USA has and will never be the leader of the free world on: January 09, 2017, 01:21:25 PM
With Bush and Obama's tenure as the President of the USA, i will say that the USA is no longer the leader of free world, They go around acting as Kingmakers, dethroning and enthroning governments, why dont they go to Saudi Arabia.
Wrong! America has always been the leader of the democratic world. Trump is of course somewhat undermines the credibility of the United States, but that does not mean that the principles of American society will become less attractive for the whole world.

Please explain how he undermines the "credibility" of the United States. In my opinion, Hillary could have undermined the credibility, as she is warmonger. Trump, on the other hand adds to the credibility, as he is against foreign military interventions.
Isn't Trump supposed to be a thief(note he called the judge, racially biased and this "newspaper" is a first link result for Donald Trump Scandals)? http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2016/11/donald-trump-scandals/474726/, http://www.nytimes.com/2016/03/12/us/politics/donald-trump-trump-university.html?_r=0. Seriously, forcing people to make good reviews about your company even though said reviewer might not think that way is never ok. The only reason someone would want to associate themselves with Trump is if they were paid, or forced to(I'm probably just bullshitting here, but this is just from what I garnered from his history). Even his fellow republicans called him a racist.

The judge WAS INFACT racially bias..

He was a large proponent of illegal immigration having to do with giving specifically illegal immigrants free stuff college grants..

Trump was correct as usual..
