BTC has a whole lot of pumping to do before it gets to be "overvalued" IMO..

I decided to try scamming myself by buying some PEPECASH, but Counterwallet is telling me: "No market price data exists for this pair yet (more trade data is required to construct price charts)." Any idea why?

Sucks. I had the same. Try to join the Telegram group if you need some help.
https://telegram.me/rarepepetradergroup

Anyhow, create a wallet at https://rarepepewallet.com (that's almost automatically done). Transfer some XCP to that address (click the money icon in the upper right nav bar and select deposit). You might be able to buy some PEPECASH from there on, I'm doing this myself right now so will see if it works

The PEPECASH market has been a bit buggy, working good from rarepepewallet.com but being hit and miss from counterwallet..

Even with the inconveniences it seems to be doing well.. http://coinmarketcap.com/assets/pepe-cash/#charts

Edit: BTW I am not affiliated with anything PEPE other than being a user..
2465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The first truly rare Pepes on the Bitcoin Blockchain! [ANN] on: October 13, 2016, 06:07:45 PM
How many confirmations before bitcoins will show up in your wallet on rarepepewallet.com? I'm currently showing 4 confirmations on the blockchain, but the wallet still shows a balance of 0 BTC.

Edit, as I'm now up to 10 confirmations, and still no bitcoin balance. See here (there should be 0.01320174 BTC in the wallet):
https://blockchain.info/address/1JXXnatQ3Vpi17DrdTwkFKZy7DTrT5r4Cg

That's unfortunate.. I have not seen another example of this problem myself..

If the problem persists get ahold of the guys/devs in the telegram chat.. I wish I could help you myself but I don't have any answers, it works for me..

Try putting your 12 word seed into https://wallet.counterwallet.io/ and see if it's just a rarepepewallet.com bug or counterparty bug..

You can share your same PEPE/XCP wallet between many wallet services with your seed this way like rarepepewallet, counterwallet, book of orbs, etc..

Sometimes some things work correctly on one wallet and not the other..

Fantastic fella. Can you make one for the ETC Criminal Coin for me?

You sure can!!

You can make and submit one yourself by following these steps.. http://rarepepedirectory.com/?page_id=25

Or if you would like to employ someone to make your PEPE for you, professional PEPE artists are in the Telegram PEPE community chat and often make PEPEs for others at a small fee I believe..

They are about to make a special commemorative PEPE of the group breaking 200 members, very active Smiley

Its definitely an interesting Proof Of Concept.

http://shitco.in/2016/10/09/rare-pepe-fomo-and-the-alt-pump-dump-cycle/
I've been a bit interested in Counterparty and this article makes some good points,
but its hard to know what to believe when someone tells you
"this one coin (XMR) is shit, let me tell you why this other coin (XCP) is way more amazing!"
That makes me almost certain that someone is pushing an agenda.

XMR vs XCP is quite apples and oranges..

Not to speculate on either coin or the value of PEPEs themselves but I have bought a few pepes, traded a ton of pepes, even made a couple official pepes myself, and have been having a blockchain blast doing it..

It is not completely devoid of bugs and not fast (it's on the Bitcoin Blockchain) but it seems I've made 245 PEPE related TXs.. It WORKS..

For example here are a couple of my favorites..

And here is my portfolio if anyone wants to trade!! https://blockscan.com/address?q=1vvSrTFiQY7akwbsv3iYPPe9mR3DsEbff

2472  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Auction] BIGVERNPEPE Rare Pepe Trading card 1/250 blockchain Counterparty asset on: October 10, 2016, 04:40:48 AM
Well, that's too bad..

https://news.bitcoin.com/rare-pepe-assets-get-blockchained/

"Rare Pepe blockchain trading cards is all about free speech, and the freedom, and the power of the blockchain to empower everyone to get Rare Pepes. So you might have heard from the Anti-Defamation League that Rare Pepes are hate speech. But through the power of the blockchain, they are immutable. So we are able to have our free speech as we want. Also, it shows that the blockchain and these assets have use."

"The Rare Pepe community continues to grow, and the digital asset environment also has its own Pepe cash. The Pepe cash card was airdropped into the wallets of those who owned three specific cards. Alongside this, unlike OneCoin, Pepe Cash is listed on CoinMarketCap.com. At press time one Pepe Cash is worth 0.00000012 BTC, and is up 18 percent over the past 24 hours.

The Rare Pepe blockchain phenomenon seems to be growing particularly fast, and mass adoption could soon be on the horizon. Blockchain technology has mobilized the freedom of speech and the dankest of memes created on the web. As the blockchain-based Rare Pepe community grows, there seems to be no limits to this meme-protocol’s potential."

Edit: Also, the game has achieved funding for its alpha stage..

How can there be "only" 250 copies of this item, when you've said that they are just going to be printouts - that anyone can now do.

I thought I had made this pretty clear to anyone that understands crypto..

For example.. You can print as many pictures of Bitcoins as you like.
Say you print 21million pictures of a bitcoin, you have not doubled the supply of bitcoin nor have you actually created any real bitcoin..
There still will only ever be 21mm BTC and nobody is going to accept your bitcoin pictures for trade as bitcoins..

Look here... https://blockscan.com/address?q=1vvSrTFiQY7akwbsv3iYPPe9mR3DsEbff

IKa46eSBLmTwz5Y2E+HmNq8sc1Of5dY5ne5Nk2FlUhJTNwxPk/skM2JcYyKnVPw/et3YBXu3fF9FbYz8rpr++sk=

This signature proves I own the assets you can see on that block explorer..

Print all you want and you still can't sign a message proving you own anything, because you don't.
The blockchain asset is the ownership, not a piece of paper.. Same with buyer funded or unfunded physical bitcoins, sure you own a cool round thing that looks like a bitcoin, but unless you can see it on the block explorer you don't own any actual bitcoins.

Make sense?
2474  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Auction] BIGVERNPEPE Rare Pepe Trading card 1/250 blockchain Counterparty asset on: October 08, 2016, 03:18:33 AM
So... This is a digital item... Huh??

They are each their own blockchain tokens on the BTC blockchain via counterparty. Like separate altcoins but on the btc blockchain with transferability just like a coin, and enforced scarcity with a set total issued asset cap. They are on the btc blockchain and therefore are mined by BTC miners so there need be no inflation and are as secure as bitcoin and you can put them in cold storage just like btc etc..
Bitcoin 2.0 colored coins stuff that I'm not going to pretend that I know all that much about to be honest..

This is a neat secondary/other blockchain use case that has been built for a long time (counterparty) and this implementation (online meme trading card game) is putting it to good use, gaining popularity, showing the power of crypto..

They are not physical goods but mainly they are collectibles..

What you get is a BTC blockchain asset that I will send to your BTC address (of a wallet that is compatible with assets, or import priv key) that proves that you own this 1 of 250 rare pepe digital trading card and then you can do what you please with it just like any coin..

You can then keep it and play the game with them in the future, or sell it on the counterparty exchange https://wallet.counterwallet.io/#pages/exchange.html or the rare peep online wallet exchange https://rarepepewallet.com/ (2 exchanges), or HODL, or trade it p2p for other cards, or p2p for other coins or whatever you can imagine..

Sorry if I'm being too long winded..
2475  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Auction] BIGVERNPEPE Rare Pepe Trading card 1/250 blockchain Counterparty asset on: October 08, 2016, 02:24:35 AM
I like the Big Vern card  Cheesy

Then bid Smiley

Tell ya what..
By time you send btc to get xcp and send your xcp to the pepe wallet exchange and fund it with btc to cover TX fees then place an order/buy that incurs additional TX fees and deal with your change this BIGVERNPEPE probably cost me more than my starting bid to buy it, and now they are SOLD OUT..

I have another that I am entering into the auction on https://telegram.me/rarepepetradergroup on (Monday 6mp EST) and the auctioneer recommended a starting bid of .5 XCP which = 0.00336839 BTC as a starting bid and rare pepes have gone from 2 XCP to 20 XCP in this auction..

Here are some of last weeks auction sales..

DARKPILLPEPE 6.66
http://rarepepedirectory.com/?p=103
PEPEMILLION  5 XCP
http://rarepepedirectory.com/?p=512
BOMINABLPEPE 3 XCP

EYEOFTHEPEPE 4.56

BACHELORPEPE 2.5
http://rarepepedirectory.com/?p=443
SELLOUTPEPE 16 XCP

HORRORPEPE  (BLOCK OF THREE) 19
http://rarepepedirectory.com/?p=475
TECHNOPEPE 20 XCP
http://rarepepedirectory.com/?p=522
RAREMRROBOT no buyer
http://rarepepedirectory.com/?p=280
SONICPEPE 3.1 XCP

I'm probably going to let this one go on this btct auction way too cheap for the lolz because this may not be the place for interest yet as these are relatively unknown still. Totally early adopter.. Spreading the crypto love..

Will these things go to 0 tomorrow? Possibly idk.. Crypto is unpredictable..
But these things are garnering a ton of interest and I wouldn't be here selling anything that I thought would be ripping someone off..
I did buy this rare pepe myself with good old BTC/XCP while they were still on the market..

I'm offering this one to you guys because I think they are cool and thought some of you might too..
2476  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Auction] BIGVERNPEPE Rare Pepe Trading card 1/250 blockchain Counterparty asset on: October 08, 2016, 01:22:04 AM
Forgive me as I've never seen this before, is it printed on card stock?

I've heard talk of such plans for the future but for now they are just digital art along with scarcity via blockchain asset ownership..

They are working on the online cardgame..
2477  Economy / Collectibles / [Auction] BIGVERNPEPE Rare Pepe Trading card 1/250 blockchain Counterparty asset on: October 07, 2016, 10:38:21 PM

This a pretty rare pepe being only 1 of 250 and I think it will be quite a strong card once the game is further developed being able to use this card to take an opponent's pepe and add it to your own hand.. This seems to be the ONLY BIGVERNPEPE for sale (none left on market) as of this time of writing..

Learn more about rare pepes and this card here http://rarepepedirectory.com/?p=345 and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1617264.0 and a very active chat here https://telegram.me/rarepepetradergroup

The pepe market and online wallet is here https://rarepepewallet.com/ and it is getting some action..

You can also trade and hold your pepes on wallet.counterwallet.io and are compatible with cold storage options..

You can buy pepes on the wallet site market and wallet.counterwallet.io for XCP and pepecash but it is somewhat of a hassle of maneuvering crypto and somewhat fee intensive.. This one is for auction here for BTC so I can send it straight to your wallet with no fuss..
I have and can get you others too if you inquire such as the very rare TUXexchange.com pepe..

Or the rare..

This Auction!! For 1 certified and verifyably rare BIGVERNPEPE counterparty blockchain asset..

Starting Bid: 0.0013BTC

Bid increment: 0.0001 BTC

Ends: 7/9/2016 11:59 pm EST

Good luck and happy bidding!!

Having trouble with images..

IIRC you might have to consider to make this thread in the scam accusations, because this involves scamming alert. Huh
did you make a report about that phishing site, so google can take action to such?

Yes I did make a google report.. Before I made this thread..

My friend was trying to figure out what happened to his blockchain wallet balance and we came to the conclusion that he got got by this scam in the op.. So I thought to post a warning to others..
2480  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: WARNING: Blockchain.info spoof in google sponsored results!! on: October 04, 2016, 04:22:14 PM
I wonder how these sites even get enough money to have a sponsor ad on google. i doubt they scam enough people to pay the bills.

My buddie got got by the one I mention in the OP and the scammer address his coins went to had over 300 BTC in it..
