I would suggest using a trusted escrow for your collateral to this lender because.. LOL Double Ponzi ref link dropping and attempted trust farming all wrapped up in one... And you want this loan to "insure" your deposit in a scam site? Nope.. DENIED Good luck all..

Please just a friendly advice, keep a eye on the ledger as the lender might have old loans pending.
The ledger has been out of service since Dec 28th 2015..

Btw Robertt's sig brought me here.
Hey, that's pretty cool I can give you the loan if you have something good like altcoin for collateral, but unfortunately your reputation isn't good enough for a no collateral loan and your account will not suffice either..

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Survival Guide near a Hard Fork
|

The announcements need to be well ahead of time or I think there would be extreme congestion.. Just think if "hard fork will happen in 1 week" is announced.. Would the blockchain even be able to handle all the transactions from everyone pulling everything out of every exchange and online wallet? Would all the exchanges and 3rd parties be able to handle that volume of withdrawal requests all at once? Would many 3rd party wallets not allow such drastic "bank runs" and pull a Cryptsy? Claiming all sorts of "technical difficulties" I can see it now.. "Hard fork" sounds like a great excuse to loose a bunch of coins or hold them hostage..
Maybe even if it is announced 6 months ahead of time everyone would wait to the last minute and it would be a clusterfork near the deadline.. There may be some insane trading and arbitrage opportunities..

@ DarkStar_, Robertt, Operatr, +
You see how many loan requests I have received in this thread, I have received many more via PM too..
I am doing my best to only fund good loans, obviously for my own financial reasons, but I realize that eventually I am probably going to take a hit on one sooner or later and can only do the best I can, like exchange trading.
There is a lot of risk in this and it is not easy to research an account/person and come to a decision in a timely manner to give response to a loan request. This is probably a lot more risk and work than it's worth for the meager profits, and with the recent outbreak of hacked accounts it probably is not a good time for a newcomer to get into this line of work/trade. I have even thought about shutting this down the last couple days due to the amount of scam attempts aimed at me but I think I'll keep chuggin away at it as it gives me something semi-productive to do.
I followed this section and did my homework for a while before starting this but by that I can only understand so much. The only way I'm going to really learn this, and this Bitcoin/Crypto economy in general, is to do it. I have been in the exchange-trading economy for a long time but not the P2P economy. All of my BTC came from trading on Cryptsy, 95%+, never bought a single satoshi. I have put an insane amount of effort into gathering all the BTC that I have and I am lucky to still have it while so many others lost all. Now all of that, pretty much everything I know about crypto, has been raped out from underneath me. So here I am finding a new way to satisfy my crypto bug..
All I can say guys is thanks for the advice and welcoming me. I'll try not to feed the scammers..
