481  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust System Abuse By Nullius on: January 28, 2020, 07:24:22 PM
will exclude nullius if that red trust remains.

He is pretty smart but then gets pretty stupid with some ratings..
I think he attempts to push the limits of what he can get away with a bit too much.. Especially for a noob..
482  Economy / Reputation / Re: yahoo62278 and Yobit on: January 28, 2020, 07:19:12 PM
It is, but you haven't really ever actually done it other than selectively

How about you ask JollyGood if he thinks I was selectively attacking him over this selectively tagging specific Yobit advertisers VS all debate..
We have mutual respect, mutual inclusions, and he can take some good debate without getting all offended over it..

without causing massive retaliation .. . . . (i.e. chaos)

Retaliation for doing the right thing is a bitch isn't it..
483  Economy / Reputation / Re: yahoo62278 and Yobit on: January 28, 2020, 07:09:07 PM
Wrong. I received $0 and had next to no monetary incentive

I wasn't necessarily talking about you having the monetary incentive there.. More about the user I quoted the hypocrisy of there..

BTW you're welcome for me keeping YOU out of near the same situation that yahoo got himself into here..

Can't you get over it and just admit that questioning hypocrisy is the right thing to do?
Your post I quoted first gave me hope that you would..

I hereby ask OP to delete any off-topic posts, including those attempting to discuss irrelevant parties. Open your own thread.

My posts questioning hypocrisy are STILL too dangerous to be allowed to exist eh?
484  Economy / Reputation / Re: yahoo62278 and Yobit on: January 28, 2020, 06:29:41 PM
This situation has shown two things:
  • The DT system is selectively hypocritical (as outlined by you in your argument). Actually, I'm certain that Yobit is by far a worse scam than Livecoin is and that if we assessed the metrics this would be objectively proven true.
  • Almost nothing can be done against highly entrenched DT1 members that are financially motivated, especially if there are also other notable members on the payroll (merit source, DT2, other).

I thought just accepting/ignoring the campaign was hypocritical after seeing before so many campaigns forced out for less and have seen so many users tagged up for "advertising scams"..

Then it became too blatantly hypocritical when many in DT were in favor of selectively tagging some advertisers but not others for the same thing..

Just before chaos ensued to find consensus discovery of this situation they coincidentally and conveniently decided to call the campaign quits right in the nick of time..

I suppose it's good that the chaos has been avoided but it leaves some questions unanswered..

This is it. Way more that sufficient for proper referencing and proof that there is no "opinion" here. The word "opinion" is being used to justify or well avoid using the wording 'financial-motivation', i.e. greed. Nice find.

You know Lauda..
This reminds me of a similar situation we had to hash out with some drama over advertising another exchange that was thought to be and turned out to be a scam.. P2PB2B

I forced them to start an escrowed campaign. (Still waiting)
There are a lot of scam accusations and some People think that this exchange is a scam (Including me).
Thinking it's a scam but wanting it to campaign anyway..

Where many "opinions" thought it was a "scam" but it was going to be advertised anyway, even pushed by those who thought it was a scam themselves (DT1 members), which I found hypocritical and possibly due to "'financial-motivation', i.e. greed" as you say, and in the end it turned out to be proven scam beyond doubt with fake team members and all..

And I took red tags from YOU over that hypocritical situation even though in the end it was definitely a scam and even to this day I have a negative-neutral over it..

Maybe you should get over that situation and admit that me speaking up against the hypocrisy THERE was also the right thing to do and which led to the right outcome..

Once again, ME pointing out this case of hypocrisy in this Yobit campaign is what lead to this thread, and possibly their closing up shop here.. Just the same as my voicing similar concerns played a large part in stopping P2PB2B..

You're all welcome for my fine community services of questioning hypocrisy at great risk to my own reputation to keep DT straight.. Here, there, and elsewhere..

Wither you like it in one situation but not in another, I don't know what to tell you about that..

486  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OneCoin: The Biggest Scam Crypto Scam Ever? on: January 26, 2020, 07:19:07 PM
if those ... were Bitcoin

They kindof are, little bits of mutilated BTC..

Apart from in the U.S., international regulatory and crime agency response has been abysmally ineffective.

What are they going to do? Ban all speak of onecoin from the internets?

The worst of it I have seen has been on Facebook where their are armies of scam/mlm reposters of all sorts of terrible "cryptocurrency" schemes, and FB just allows it..
I don't know exactly how stupid you have to be to buy into these things shilled by obvious spammers, but I guess their are plenty..
487  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: January 26, 2020, 05:10:08 PM

That was a good video. Here's another one. If you haven't seen it - it's excellent.

It's a 20 something resident of Wuhan telling it like he sees it.  He's very well spoken (you have to put on captions if you can't speak Mandarin.) He's describing life there and the Chinese Communist Party's reaction to the virus.

I have seen that but I am suspicious that the CC text is not really what he is saying..
Do you speak Mandarin and can confirm the CC is accurate?

489  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: January 26, 2020, 01:55:10 AM
Has China, or anyone, even quarantines cities on this scale before??

I like the Wuahn bioweapons facility leak conspiracy the best..

If you think it is somehow bigoted to say it is gross that Chinese people eat bats, and their sanitation practices are gross, then think whatever you want..

If you trust mainstream news, or especially Chinese reports of anything while they are arresting Chinese for posting about it online, you're crazy..
490  Economy / Services / Re: [? SLOTS OPEN] ChipMixer Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ | Up to 0.0375 BTC/w on: January 25, 2020, 11:02:30 PM

Just do you man and post naturally however you want to..
The chances of getting into CM are ridiculously slim for anyone, and trying to "improve" yourself to fit whatever they are looking for will/would probably have little effect..

You can keep applying though because maybe they will want what you are in the future.. It's nothing bad about you, they are just extremely picky, and they can afford to be picky due to the extreme supply/demand imbalance in paid signatures..
491  Economy / Reputation / Re: Turkish merit source selling accounts and nepotism on local on: January 25, 2020, 10:48:28 PM
I generally don't find it right for so many people who from the Turkish local forum to get negative trust. Whenever we try to do something good, some of us suffer because of the hostile behaviour from other global DT members.

It seems to me that the Turkish board has been neglected by the account diggers scrutinization for the most part up until some/many of them started making it on DT and/or voicing their opinions in meta/rep, drawing attention to themselves and now many are being and have been scrutinized almost all at once, and they don't understand what it happening..

What you Turks are not understanding is that all of us here have been subject to this same scrutinization the entire time, all the time, constantly, and the only ones left standing for the most part are those with absolutely clean account histories..

Look at the current thread about QuickSeller.. Look at the thread on The-Devil.. It happens ALL THE TIME.. It just happened to me a couple weeks ago..

If you are clean, then you will be fine..
If you are not, then it will probably be found and you will have to answer for it..

A lot can be forgiven with the right attitude even if some naughty stuff is found, but having an offensive attitude, claiming it is because of racism, claiming it is because of chipmixer conspiracies, is going to do nothing but make your situations worse..

I think a few/bunch of you I have seen are probably pretty good guys and valuable users.. I hope you all don't fuck it up by fighting a war that you aren't going to win..

Cooperation and honesty is a good path forward.. Accusations is not a good path forwards..

Half of it is almost a shit-test to see how you handle yourself in tough situations.. Going off the handle like wolwoo is a fail of the shit-test.. Conducting yourself professionally and responding factually without aggression may pass the shit test even if they find some dirt on you..

Welcome to the global boards where accounts are destroyed left and right over all sorts of things..
I wish I could help you guys survive your initiation, buy ya'll are doing more to make it worse than to make it better..

BTW I think the OP is probably mostly BS.. But look where your attitudes are landing you..
marlboroza   2020-01-25   Reference   Knowingly supported defamation. Read reference for more details.

Ouch.. Shouldn't have done that..
Maybe if ya'll knock it off with the accusations and turn it around, marlboroza may eventually remove it, but not if you just keep up the same shit you will probably get more of the same..

Turks should really stop and think about their best avenue for an optimal outcome of their situation..
Should have done that a while ago, and it's getting close to being too late..
492  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Night @ Sportsbet (Private game exclusively for forum members) on: January 25, 2020, 07:14:46 PM
Sounds fun!
I have played garage tournaments a few times with friends but have never played online on that site or any other with any coin, so I don't know how much difficulty will be in setting that all up..

After looking deeper..
2PM GMT is a bad time for me.. Peak sleeping hour right there..
Too bad..  Sad sadface

I'll keep my eye on this for a more compatible opportunity in the future..
493  Economy / Reputation / Re: Foxpup shadow boxing... on: January 25, 2020, 09:04:15 AM
That's all you can muster is four replies in three days?

Four of five posters are in the chipmixer signature campaign - $24 worth of posts @ $6 per post.

Four of five posters carry the same profile pic (paid for by the OP) (how much is that I wonder?).

Four out of the five of you good people on DT distrust me.

The uniforms add to the drama..
494  Economy / Reputation / Re: PrimeNumber7 is an alt of Quickseller, Take 2 on: January 25, 2020, 07:53:25 AM
when eddie13 criticised my previous post?

I did?

I think I tend not to criticize your posts, because . . well . . it's unnecessary..
495  Economy / Reputation / Re: 🔥 Vile Chipmixer Bounty Abuse 🔥 Probably the Biggest Con Job on Bitcointalk on: January 25, 2020, 07:47:14 AM
critizing or questioning the bheviour of ChipMixer and it's participants made an openly speaking DT ruin down his repo

The problem is that it does look like this to some who are not long time lurkers, but it is not the case, just a coincidence..

I tried warning Vispillo against this..

Maybe their should be more understanding and patience of this conclusion being presented by the less informed... Maybe not..
496  Economy / Reputation / Re: PrimeNumber7 is an alt of Quickseller, Take 2 on: January 25, 2020, 06:15:40 AM
At this rate, this thread will surely make it to 15-20 pages or so..
497  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Anarchy of Authoritarian Autarchy: Be Your Own Authority on: January 25, 2020, 12:58:01 AM
So the premise is basically to justify personal anarchistic actions, based on the fact that the voters empowering governments are mostly a flock of NPC propaganda eating sheep of whom their is no hope for embetterment, so one can morally absolve themselves of guilt for not obeying their laws, because they and their laws are stupid/for the stupid, and if I may myself also opine possibly immoral to follow their laws at all..

For example: It is illegal in China right now to spread information about the current situation of the spread of the coronavirus.. People are being arrested for disseminating information online.. I would consider this an immoral law that should not be followed..

A line from Theymos I like related to this subject is..
"the premise that purely statutory crimes are directly unethical, which I don't agree with at all"
498  Other / Meta / Re: I sincerely apologize to everyone on: January 24, 2020, 09:58:20 PM
I didn't dig up any history

Oh.. Well, it usually happens that way..

500  Other / Meta / Re: I sincerely apologize to everyone on: January 24, 2020, 09:44:51 PM
Cool story! I almost believed it.

Something is totally wrong around here!

A few weeks ago a guy came to meta to brag how he got ranked up, and how he earned merit, giving advice and thanking members, turn out he was a plagiarist and ban evader. Now, cheezcarls came and started with another "mea culpa", ask for forgiveness, promises he will change his way, we start feeling good for him and ...this shit happens

It seems that their is not a widespread awareness of the fact that if you stick your head up, or draw attention to yourself around here, your account better be squeaky friggin clean because a ton of users are about to dig your history for anything they can find..

Happens ALL the time..

Remember recently how attention was brought on The-Devil account?
They don't know to keep their heads down and fly under the radar..
