look closely now..
But it wasn't magic.
Trump's election chances are not looking good
the fact that Democrats shoot themselves in the foot which 9 times out of 10 they will because they're clinically insane

So how much do you want to put up for or against MAGA 2020?
So me and suchmoon can start matching these orders.. But everyone from here on out takes a 1.3% spread just because 13..
twitchy an nutildah are grandfathered @ 1:1 .01, no spread..

Place your bets..
(in jest, I can't speak for SM)
802  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [BET] Trump or not Trump 2020, eddie13 vs suchmoon on: December 11, 2019, 07:08:17 AM
nutildah or twitchy want it for 0.01 or something? Sounds like you want some..
I don't want to put a whole lot into this but I may be open to some more small fun and organization..

Who all wants pieces of this? Maybe we can make it heppening up in here.. TS wanna take some of these or bankroll?

New local thread rule.. If you ain't got 5 on it, then get off it... <effective at 10 more bets in this thread..
803  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [BET] Trump or not Trump 2020, eddie13 vs suchmoon on: December 11, 2019, 06:11:33 AM
I've spent a lot of time in the D, but it was almost always well paid hours, lol..
804  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [BET] Trump or not Trump 2020, eddie13 vs suchmoon on: December 11, 2019, 05:58:06 AM
the states where the vote actually mattered
"Trump unexpectedly won Michigan by a narrow margin of 0.23%
This is the narrowest margin of victory in Michigan's presidential election history."

805  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POLL] WILL TRUMP BE ELECTED TO A SECOND TERM? on: December 11, 2019, 05:21:49 AM
That was pretty funny..

I am personally not a big fan of gambling

Neither am I..
I've rolled dice like 3 times on yobit and have probably spun some faucet wheels.. That's about it except personal bets, where their is no 3rd party to take a cut, which is kinda where I draw my line, seems greasy..

806  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [BET] Trump or not Trump 2020, eddie13 vs suchmoon on: December 11, 2019, 05:04:15 AM
to die on this hill

The polls were in the margin of error

I'm not about to go look up the "margin of error" to see exactly how much wrong each poll was against what they claim is close enough in horseshoes and hand grenades..

I look at charts.. One of my only skills in crypto is looking at charts, lol..
If you look at any of the charts very carefully you will see that Trump is on the bottom, look closely now..

And then... Like magic... Trump won..
Somehow.. Trump didn't need the charts to win..

KISS

"If every poll was wrong by the exact tolerable amount then they weren't wrong"
OK sure..
They were all as wrong as possible without being wrong..

I assure you I'm not dying on a 0.1BTC hill, lol..
I'm just having fun here talking shit..
If Trump looses, boo hoo, I was wrong.. It's not a big deal..
And I'll admit I was wrong, unlike 90% of people on the internet..
807  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [BET] Trump or not Trump 2020, eddie13 vs suchmoon on: December 11, 2019, 04:31:42 AM
Ok you are right.. That isn't "polls"..

Is this polls?

"This chart combines the latest  opinion polls into  trendlines using a poll-tracking model and is updated whenever a new poll is released."

About the same as right now when Trump won.. And as stated, poll votes from California and similar hopeless states don't matter..

Trump underpolls because Trump voters are 69% less likely to waste their time taking polls.. <stats made up by me

There's a weird 'fuck the polls' mentality among some Trump supporters

Can't blame a guy for being skeptical of information sources these days, can you?

General Election: Trump vs. Biden:       Biden 51, Trump 42
General Election: Trump vs. Sanders:      Sanders 51, Trump 43
General Election: Trump vs. Warren:      Warren 50, Trump 43
General Election: Trump vs. Buttigieg:           Buttigieg 48, Trump 43
General Election: Trump vs. Bloomberg:   Bloomberg 48, Trump 42
General Election: Trump vs. Klobuchar:        Klobuchar 47, Trump 43

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/general_election/

It's a bad bet going on Trump for 1:1. You should have done better odds. The democratic nominee isn't even announced yet and and Amy Klobuchar, a candidate polling at less than 1 in democratic primaries percent beats Trump by 4 points.

Like we haven't heard that before..

An deeennn...

That's just a reason I like Trump..

Ahhh I get it, you don't like Biden because he doesn't grab enough. Maybe I should let the Biden campaign know how they can win over some Republican voters Smiley

That was a good one!
But those are just kids, not the whores Trump was talking about..

To actually be president I do like Biden over the rest of the left fleet.. He is the most sane/conservative sounding of them..
Atleast he stuck up for the constitution over Beta Beto with the "hell yes we are going to take your AR-15's!" suicide..
Trump>Biden tho..

That's just a reason I like Trump..

I'll admit that that scared me for a minute when it happened, that they were gonna be able to "gettem this time!", but they couldn't..

What he said was basically, The truth about gold diggers, IMO..

Watching the heads explode after he got away with that was priceless..
812  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [BET] Trump or not Trump 2020, eddie13 vs suchmoon on: December 11, 2019, 01:46:10 AM

Rattling sabers..

I'm not eligible to participate in this
Sure you are!!

future of your country
I think an argument could be made that presidents are just sockpuppets anyway and it doesn't really even matter..

It's not like a bet is going to change the elections like a proper propaganda campaign, er, I mean, posting memes..
"Russian bots" will decimate Biden with memes..
We already know us the russian bots have plenty of hillary and bernie memes as good as kryptonite from the last war stockpiled..
814  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why Crypto Exchanges Should Lower Their Fees and Profit Margins on: December 11, 2019, 01:26:55 AM
I traded HUOBI pretty hard when it was still possible for me.. It was a zero fee exchange..

I absolutely friggen loved it!!! Zero fees is awesome for a trader like me (daytrader with tons of trades)!!

They made their money on margin positions and WDs instead of regular trades.. It was great!

I wish their was a BTC/fiat exchange like that I could trade again!

And, I even think the volume was real, because I could trade all day with small hits or misses putting down huge volume for my size and still WIN..
815  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [BET] Trump or not Trump 2020, eddie13 vs suchmoon on: December 11, 2019, 12:14:28 AM
-complex gambler speak-

I'm not much of a "gambler" but personal bets are fun..
This won't be the first time I've won and been paid on a bet like this here Smiley but could be my first loss...

I like the bet and don't want to hedge against it..
I wanted the bet and someone finally took it, and I'm glad it's you for a few reasons..

the quote from me above was not to suggest a wager, but was pointing out the fact that it is really easy to pretend you were on the right track all along  after the fact when you dither, fence sit, and never declare your own conclusions. Some people like to feel smart on the sidelines never even risking a prediction.

You didn't pressure me, I just upped the ante..
No fence for me..

Maybe I should bet people on stuff like this more often.. I'll keep it in mind..
816  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [BET] Trump or not Trump 2020, eddie13 vs suchmoon on: December 10, 2019, 10:53:45 PM
Small risk brings small prices. And we could be sure suchmoon and eddie13 will go big or go home  Grin

Sportsbook arbitrage has been interesting to me ever sense I read topics by darkstar about it seemingly years ago but I never got around to it, vetting all these shady ass betting sites, doing all the math, etc..

I don't even know if it is legal for me, and if not, surely not worth the hassle..

This bet is basically because I ran my mouth and suchmoon called me out on it lol, so I had to honor it no mater what, but SM was nice enough to give some pretty fair draw conditions IMO, generously.. I think my draw conditions might be worth the lost possible, uh, pay spread for the bet that I could have got from some shady bookie site..

Its easy to feel like a winner when you don't put down any stakes eh?
I'll take a 0.1BTC 1:1 trump wins 2020..
Should a casino not allow you to make an absolutely stupid bet?
Like betting against Trump 2020 for example? (Ha Ha I Joke)
We'll see who has the last ha ha Smiley

For mouth running references Wink

I like the bet and I'd take it again probably even if I never said this/offered it in the first place..

Is 0.1BTC going big?
817  Other / Meta / Re: History - Bitcoin Savings and Trust and Pirateat40 on Bitcointalk (PONZI) on: December 10, 2019, 09:24:15 PM
I am starting to believe that you are his sockpuppet

Wow, that is quite a compliment..

Sometimes I wonder why I even care because he doesn't give me shit for merits or even give me an inclusion after all the effort I put in trying to see where these stories are straight and where they are not.. As a matter of fact, I consider it very dangerous for me to post a lot of the stuff I post, and quite one sided in this case..
I can see why you would be wondering what I have to gain from it, because I wonder the same thing myself sometimes..

And I did exactly that with that link and commented about it a little ways after Twitchy posted it in that thread..
818  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [BET] Trump or not Trump 2020, eddie13 vs suchmoon on: December 10, 2019, 08:56:01 PM
Surely there are candidates who could carry the conservative ideas with more intelligence and ultimately with more impact.

I would love a much more conservative president than Trump.. I see him as quite centrist actually, a good bit further left than me..

But, Trump is probably the only one with the personality to stump the left with such precision while shedding their attacks like water off a ducks back, basically saving the country from liberal ideocracy, and most importantly saving the SCOTUS and therefor saving the constitution..

I surely don't like everything Trump does, most prominently being weak on the 2A, including banning bumpstocks..
I would rather their be ZERO compromise on the 2A whatsoever..

Unbreakablecoin (UNB) (Dead now)

Disclaimer: Their isn't really anything important to read here.. Just a rant..

Yes.. Are you surprised that an ancient Bitcoin clone coin is dead?
Ironically Unbreakablecoin was basically broken by CoinWarz, or whatever coin profitability switching pools, when UNB pumped and became the most profitable coin in the world to mine...
All of the miners switched to it and just started flying through blocks, through a couple difficulty retargets (long retarget spacing), then leaving an absolutely insane difficulty for the chain to keep going on.. We are talking like maybe a few blocks a week after the big miners got done raping it, which I don't really blame them for..

I lived that pump, there with Jim, one of the most exciting times in my crypto career, it even included drama with the infamous DCGirl, and some of the best paid trolls FUDding I have ever seen..
Actually, I think the UNB pump is what made me my first full Bitcoin (daytrader)..

Jim said he would not sell into the pump, and he did not, but in hindsight he probably should have just dumped his hoard of UNB on it..

This was directly after the big XPY scam, I lived that pump too, I witnessed the famous "$20 wall", and traded the massive volatility that it created.. Got some good trades in for sure.. I wasn't holding any XPY when the wall went up, unluckily because I probably bought and sold it 10 times already that day, but as soon as the $20 wall fell I flipped the spread VERY good a few times, I will never forget..

Directly after that XPY huge scam everyone was really fed up with lying cheating scamming DEVs which led to the massive UNB pumps basically for "honest DEV, honest coin" as an opposite reaction to what just happened to XPY..
Here in hindsight I was probably just a naive shill, but I was a UNBeliever as it was called..

But the pumps and resulting mining profitability basically broke UNB after that..

I think you can still get the wallet at http://unbreakablecoin.com/ and blocks still might be moving ever so slowly, because I don't think Jim ever took all of his personal hash off of it.. My name, eddie13, was even on that website for some time as a "supporter" because I helped with reddit and the unbreakable auctions sites n stuff..

Soon after these times, shitcoins were flooding in faster than you could count them, and I lost most of my interest in any "new" coins, because they were 99.999% scams or plain shit.. A lot of incredibly high inflation POS coins and such..

Cryptsy then crashed..

I don't know a lot about whatever other coins Jim has been involved with sense then, because I became uninterested, but I basically think that after this he mostly just created altcoins for customers, DEVd coins/blockchains for projects, some of which may not be 100% clean, but I don't think Jim would have intended anything bad.. When you work with a lot of different higher profile people in the crypto world for years you are bound to pick up some fleas.. I know Bruno was on his ass about something but I don't know all of it..

If you think I tagged that account to hurt Jim, you are wrong..

I really miss hanging out in the trollbox with Jim and wish he was still around..
I don't think crypto will ever be the same, and for me that was the "golden era" of crypto, or atleast my crypto career..
These days I am just a washed up daytrader yearning for old times, when I could and did trade almost every exchange I heard about, but their has never been anything like the Cryptsy trollbox.. Tried polo, trollbox was shit.. Never even heard of KYC back then.. I basically came to Bitcointalk as a refugee, read my oldest posts if you haven't already..
Had high hopes for TUXexchange but they threw in the towel because honest guys can't get ahead in crypto anymore it seems..

So there is some backstory I enjoyed reminiscing about just now..

Maybe one should be suspicious of foul play at any time Vod mentions OG..
Sorry xtraelv, but I think Vod duped you into further extending his drama..
