Are the power cables in the ribbon cut so power only comes from the molex attached?

Os2Sam,
No, not yet successfully.  :-(  Been trying the stratum proxy but I am stumped.  I am running bitcoin .8.5.  I'm just trying it a portion of my hashes right now but it cuts the speed in half.  If I throw 60 I get 30, if I throw 100 I get 35.  It appears to be diminishing returns.

Thanks Fireduck!

Come on miners, this is a great pool.  If you have any questions on how to get setup let us know and we will do our best to help.

I've written up some sample cgminer configs and make some new dns round-robin pools for faster failover:

http://hhtt.1209k.com/config.php

This way cgminer can fail away from a failed node much faster than my health checks will pull it.

FireDuck,
I have many many more pools setup to ensure I am always mining so I do not think the load balance is an option for me.  To ensure the best fail over should I set these two as my first two pools?

stratum+tcp://set0.hhtt.1209k.com:3333
stratum+tcp://set1.hhtt.1209k.com:3333

Or should I set all of these?  If so, in which order is preferred?

us-central-1a.hhtt.1209k.com - A single node
us-central-1b.hhtt.1209k.com - A single node
us-central-2a.hhtt.1209k.com - A single node
eu-west-1a.hhtt.1209k.com - A single node

Or all 6?  Again which order?

stratum+tcp://set0.hhtt.1209k.com:3333
stratum+tcp://set1.hhtt.1209k.com:3333
us-central-1a.hhtt.1209k.com - A single node
us-central-1b.hhtt.1209k.com - A single node
us-central-2a.hhtt.1209k.com - A single node
eu-west-1a.hhtt.1209k.com - A single node

Thanks!

OK, started digging in and I found the slush stratum proxy.  Has anyone worked to set this up for solo mining and care to share?  I have very little mining power (but enough to be limited by bitcoind), but as you can see I run a full node and wish to support the network.  Thus, I want the solo mining to work at full capacity.

I appreciate anyone whom takes the time to assist!

I had to leave because I suspected deeper issues than the ''bad'' luck.  Can we resolve here or should I PM you?

I see.  I need to run my own private pool?
19  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Solo Mine as last backup on: October 13, 2013, 03:53:08 AM
By installing bitcoind to faster computer?

Quad core Intel at 4.5.

How about your disk, SSD or HDD? A fragmented or for other reason slow hard disk can easily slow bitcoind down.

Samsung 840 pro 512 GB SSD.  Dedicated to running a full bitcoin node 24/7.

I think that might be the right track but it does work if you have a getwork server as an option via a pool.  Do any bitcoin pools still have getwork?  I know from playing with some altcoins.
