1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Would you send money or bitcoins to MtGox when it re-opens? (poll) on: March 26, 2014, 02:24:12 PM
I have millions of satoshis stuck there.
If they reopen with full balances available to all users, improve management and transparency - maybe.
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 200k btc,big move,2014-03-07 on: March 07, 2014, 01:25:55 PM
Very interesting ...
that is probably the case because there is no way for a thief to hide coins that way...

3  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 200k btc,big move,2014-03-07 on: March 07, 2014, 01:19:25 PM
May be the thief (thieves) moving funds...
They are dividing sums and sending them to different addresses.

They are currently transferring and dividing big sums from each new address to two new addresses.
Every step makes sums twice smaller.

And it is happening NOW !
4  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 200k btc,big move,2014-03-07 on: March 07, 2014, 01:12:38 PM
Something more ... they are being transferred to a lot of different addressed (mixing).

Someone is getting away with our money ?
5  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 200k btc,big move,2014-03-07 on: March 07, 2014, 01:03:06 PM
That is not BIG ... that is HUGE !

May be GOX cold storage moving ?!
6  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Gox going insolvent, and people asking you to forget is not that simple, why ? on: February 27, 2014, 12:48:22 PM
I have some BTC on Gox and I am absolutely sure malleability theft statement is a lie.

There is no way for a company that big to have such issues for years and do nothing to analyze or solve the problem.

I work in a small company (about 30 emp. total) and when we have a difference of 1 % between our reports and our supplier's reports,
an internal investigation starts in order to find where that 1 % comes from.

I repeat ... there is no way for such thing to happen.

The truth will set us all free...

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 4 unconfirmed transactions since 10 Feb 2014 on: February 14, 2014, 02:15:10 PM
https://blockchain.info/address/1MJ7U8rd8fofjJ66rWKPjxc1htfZcFknCC

Here are the unconfirmed transactions.

Looks like you are trying to send very small amounts with no fee.
You may have to wait.

Include a small fee when transferring less than 0,01 BTC to speed up transaction confirmation.

8  Economy / Economics / Re: Speculate about the year 2020 on: November 14, 2013, 03:21:45 PM
I hope by 2020 the society will (start to) transform from money based to value based one.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Is Better Than Voting on: October 27, 2013, 05:12:24 PM
A voting system based on Bitcoin principles would be a very good thing in my opinion.

Buying a BTC is kind of voting.

But if you can vote electronically (and cheaply) when an important decision has to be made, concerning your city, region, state or country - that would be true democracy.

May be somebody is already working on a solution in this direction.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / A clairvoyant on Bitcoin :) on: September 11, 2013, 02:42:19 PM
I went to a clairvoyant a week ago.

I decided to ask her about Bitcoin ... so I said (translated from Bulgarian):

- What can you tell me about Bitcoin ?
- Bi*@# what Huh I don't know ...
- Please, just tell me whatever you get from 'above' ? ...
- Flawless ... Just that word !
...
Then I asked her:
- Should I invest in it ?
- It can be penetrated ! - She said - The wall against it can be penetrated. It can succeed !

That was what that woman told me. I am sure she haven't heard of Bitcoin before.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New Alt-Coin! on: May 22, 2013, 08:41:17 PM

Can I download the source and change some texts ?
12  Local / India / Re: Avoid Custom Settings on the Chrome Mt Gox Bot on: April 26, 2013, 10:11:57 AM
Nothing is reliable.

When Gox is overloaded there is no way to get accurate market data.
That is why you should watch the graph and react as fast you can.

If you want to make money while doing NOTHNIG - then deposit it in a bank.
Interest is guaranteed.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: For now, bitcoin only suitable as a store of value on: April 19, 2013, 11:00:51 AM
The price instability problem can be explained:

1. There are some people who understand what Bitcoin is and what is the value of a unit (the system as a whole).
These are miners and business owners mostly.

2. There are too many people who DON'T know what Bitcoin is ... at all !

3. There are a bunch of speculators.

So the ones who know either don't sell or sell at very high price.

The ones who don't know want to buy cheap, because they see no value there yet.

Speculators take advantage of this market disagreement.

The picture will change when more people know what Bitcoin is ...

For me the reasonable market cap of Bitcoin system is about 1 trillion USD (at current USD value).

I intend to sell some and SPEND MORE of my coins gradually upon the climb.
And never stop mining !
14  Economy / Economics / Re: There is manipulation going on. on: April 18, 2013, 09:29:12 PM
From what I see as market behavior now this analysis does not fit.

What is the "mean" of an exponential growth ?
15  Economy / Economics / Bubble ? Absolutely not !!! Please read! on: April 13, 2013, 05:15:01 PM
Hello friends Smiley

Although some of you may argue about validity of this simple research, please check alexa.com trends of some Bitcoin businesses (excluding exchanges):

http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/bitpay.com#reach

http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/bitmit.net#reach

http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/satoshidice.com#reach

http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/rugatu.com#

http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/bitcoinstore.com#reach

You would say: Yeah! OK ... 200 % - 300 % in 3 months ... that is cool but it does not correspond to 1000 % rise.

BUT !

There is one more thing to consider:
TOTAL NUMBER of businesses has tripled too !
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN, A TRUE WARRIOR BEATS ALL ENEMIES !!! on: April 12, 2013, 08:50:04 PM
And this is just BETAAAAAAAAAAAA !!!

17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the state will attack Bitcoin... and how to survive the attack on: April 12, 2013, 08:44:08 PM
Organize local exchange events using any kind of communication.

Bitcoin travels around the world fast without banks!

Cash can go short distances without problems too.

We should stick to cash until they give up!

After all "THEY" are part of "US".
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this price drop so bad after all? on: April 12, 2013, 08:40:11 PM
I kind of think so too.

It happened faster than 2011 and it will recover much faster !

Bitcoin momentum is much greater now.

Something else that seems interesting:

Bitcoin businesses have about 200 - 300 % growth from the beginning of this year.

If Bitcoin value was about 300 % higher in 3 months it would correspond to business.

2 000 % is crazy.
