I honestly did not think you were an adult...
Ideas are plentiful and abound, taking action and doing something is much more rare.

Please do take action immediately on your grandiose idea and make it happen.

I aim to create commission based projects.

Hence, I need to work with other people.

I need people who want to develop on commission.

I also need investors.

I do not have a lot of money so I can only invest a little every now and then.

But I have invested most of my life as an adult into trying to build a network of developers and entrepreneurs and making research about the web and IT industry, with the purpose of creating a platform for rapid and agile launches and coordination of software projects.

Hey, I have an idea for the first project.

Let's build an open source crypto equity trading platform together!

It could be very useful!

There are millions and millions of website owners out there. Each and everyone of them could potentially launch their own crypto company on the platform, put a link to the shares on the website and generate some income from it.

It would revolutionize the Internet, because until now ad revenue has been the only source of income for many high quality websites and you know it only generates cents and pennies for most of them. It would be more rewarding to launch a crypto company and sell the shares directly on the website! Perhaps some sort of simple buy/sell button...

Anyone sees the potential in this?

The problem with GLBSE is it costs money (or rather bitcoins) to register. A lot of website owners do not want to invest 8.5 BTC to launch. If there is a problem with scammers we could just implement a rating system instead, where investors can rank assets with one to five stars.

Come on guys, let's do this! Let's build and have fun and change the world!

We can use wisdom of the crowd instead, it's a better trust verification method anyway. Let investors rate the asset with say a five star model.

Could someone help me create a bitcoin based stock exchange, similar to GLBSE or CryptoStocks but without admission fee?

Should be open source... We can put it on GitHub.

Well, found out what our friend really wanted the 8.5 BTC for.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=94793.msg1048398#msg1048398

Now let me take a wild guess 'sron'. You wanted to withdraw 8.5 BTC anonymously through the ATM, by any chance?

LOL  Grin

"relax man, you are going to give yourself grey hairs. That is for another opportunity. When my idea goes nuclear I don't want the masses chasing me. Relax, invest, enjoy the ride. Now do you know any investors? "

How did I do? Was that a good imitation?  Cool

Hey Kegels : )

If you ask me, that was rather spot-on... : )

Peace everybody. Let's make love, not war.

Also, let's have fun and not stress too much.

Now, if you could just send daddy-o here some of your superfluous bitcoins...

But seriously...

I'm trying to figure out the details of the contract right now.

Suggestion: Let's say the project(s) is profitable. I could then set aside say 10% of the profits to ensure liquidity of the assets by nominating a value of (profits x 0.1)/number of shares to each share and guaranteeing that the firm will always buy back shares for that price. Any trades going on above that is up to the market to decide but we would always offer (profits x 0.1)/number of shares for each share to anyone who wants to cash in. I hope this would be logical and viable... Sorry if it seems a bit vague, still trying to figure out the details.

This thread Roll Eyes

: )

Actually, I'm trying to be funny but at the same time I'm serious about the business idea. Do you know any potential investors, Tittiez?

I invest time in this thread.

Time is money, or in this case BTC.

However, the value of the BTC is increasing more rapidly than the value of my time, at least from a liquidity perspective.

Hence my commitment.

The question is whether I should create one asset or many assets.

If I create a sole asset which eventually gains a certain market value (anything above zero) I cannot just issue new shares and offer to developers, because each share would already have a value.

Nothing would then stop the developers from cashing in by selling their shares before they have made a valuable contribution. On the other hand it would be administratively more challenging to represent multiple assets.

I think I have cracked this nut now.

We will offer profit shares as dividends.

We will get started as soon as the funding has been raised.

This could be the biggest thing since bitcoin : )

Invest now, join the joyride!

We now accept investments on the following bitcoin address:

1J8BJKyV2dJZfESdY5w6CQ1n7b9rt4UJH5

The business model has been updated. We will primarily invest in development projects within the Bitcoin community.

8.5 BTC gets you 0.1% of the shares once the company has been registered on GLBSE or a competing platform.

0.85 BTC gets you 0.01% of the shares and so on. We will give away a maximum of 10% of the shares on this investment occasion.

Happy investing : )

219  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking for investor of 8.5 BTC on: July 18, 2012, 03:16:47 PM
I have given it some thought and I would actually like to sweeten the deal by offering 0.1% of the shares in return for the 8.5 BTC.

In terms of verification for the GLBSE, perhaps we could use your (the investor's) details to ensure that we comply with the regulations of that particular platform.
