1  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Ukyo.Loan - Paying 0.05% daily. on: November 07, 2014, 01:50:55 AM
I think today marks the one year anniversary of our last Ukyo.Loan interest payout.  Any news?
2  Economy / Securities / Re: [Havelock] RentalStarter - A Midwest Real Estate Investment Company on: July 13, 2014, 03:04:16 PM

I can make the following statement:

At UTC 04:15 this morning (20140713) I checked the five Rental Starter property IDs registered on the Pickaway County Auditor website and can confirm that they have clear title with the company Branny is using for the rentals. The process took me about 5 minutes and I've archived the screen shots. If anyone wants a GPG signed copy of this statement then they are welcome to contact me at

I did the same checks as Andy last night on the Pickaway County website and verified the ownership records for all five properties.

If anyone wants to discuss, send me a PM.

I think Branny is doing a great job with RS and I plan to buy some more shares today in anticipation of a dividend this week.

It's nearly April 1st. I think it is time to request a refund. I have four shares.

For anyone interested in tracking changes in Ukyo.Loan addresses/holdings over time, I did a quick analysis for the past few days.  You can see some possible redeems and a bunch of small transfers.

I got this direct from the JSON data. Will try to update in a few days.

I didn't receive any Ukyo.Loan dividends today (they usually arrive early morning US time).  Did anyone else get them as usual?
7  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bit Funder] [btcquick] [Rising profits] on: July 20, 2013, 03:07:45 PM

I'm going to keep this thread updated to keep track of btcquick's progress.

This needs to be updated to reflect recent dividends and share price.
8  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] btcQuick - Bitcoin Sales Service on: July 14, 2013, 11:16:41 PM
can someone from BTCQUICK answer the question about the MSB and FINSEC stuff. So i don't have to call them and ask them myself to check before investing into btcquick. Thank you, hope for a reply soon.

We are consulting with a lawyer to discuss the implications of our business and the FinFEN Guidance.

Did you ever get an answer back on these questions?

Wisard's comments resonate with me, and I hope that Ascension takes notice.  I am very interested to read his coming update.

Excellent. So here's the trick question  Wink : Does it remember the old addresses? A situation may arise where I've already cycled through for a new address and a friend pays me at the previous address.

Yes, it remembers the old addresses. Funds sent to any of your addresses will appear on your balance. I will try to think of a way to display the old addresses user-friendly in the UI.

How about remembering addresses that you have sent to?  That would be useful for recurring payments, without having to rescan a bar code each time.

Hey Alex,

Thanks for responding to my questions.  I love the service, and think I will use it a good deal.

The only part I'm a little hung up on is the valuation:

10,000 is 10%, so 100,000 total shares.

Share price is IPO'd at ~0.24 BTC (around $1.39 per share).

This puts your valuation of your company at roughly $139,000 USD. Could you expand on how you arrived at this valuation?

Yes, i can. It was a rough estimate between the founders, taking into account the base idea and bitcoin economic potential.

EDIT: Thanks for your support Polvos, swissmate and vescudero

It seems like the valuation should be a function of expected revenue -- how did you calculate this?
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Android Bitcoin App that uses Current Wallet on: June 03, 2012, 07:40:33 PM
I like having a separate wallet on the phone.  I don't want all my funds on the phone in case I lose it.

I use bitspinner.  Seems to work well.

and in your client you should be able to associate a label with a new address, so you can figure out who paid you.
