Metrobank is based out of the Philippines as far as I know.

Also in the UK:
https://www.google.com/search?q=metrobank&oq=metrobank&aqs=chrome..69i57j5j0l2.4479j0j9&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Since the list suggests problems with Intersango (an UK exchange) I would lean towards the UK Metrobank.

Probably still helps to set a MIN and MAX integer, just in case.
Price is moving so quickly that those numbers quickly become obsolete.

An added 24hr average sort of "protects" against quick drops.

2weiX has recommended a reserve price earlier in this thread and that works well for me ever since. Thanks again!

Very useful website. I love it! Keep it updated please.

The beauty of it is that you can keep it updated yourself.

Yep, the fucker ran away. Sold the coop's units for 28 BTC each or so. I'm just collecting one more piece of info and will open a scam accusation thread. At least we get that.
1569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Cairnsmore1 - Quad XC6SLX150 Board on: November 11, 2013, 08:17:22 AM
Incase anyone is interested, I am selling my two Cairnsmore1 boards, final revision, fully working. Comes boxed with cables, instructions and stacking kit.

Any price (reasonable) will be accepted.

Delivery available.

Thanks

What's reasonable? Also, can it mine alt-coins ? scrypt?

No scrypt. There was mention of a memory module in development, but I have not heard about it again (haven't looked that close either).

Excellent meetup. Not sure of the total number who came, but it was quite large. Started out quiet, but quickly lots of people showed up. Lots of familiar faces as well as new members of the community. I sold bitcoin for S$ to a couple of new users.

The speakers were Tomas Forgac- the organizer. Then Alexis Nicosia of Seedcoin who is organizing the upcoming conference. The guests of honor were Beccy and Austin of Life on Bitcoin. they spoke about their experiences traveling around the world on Bitcoin. I think the release date for the final movie will be next year- maybe april?

Even was held at Lowercase, which accepted Bitcoin Smiley here's me buying my first beer with bitcoin:

Later we headed over to Hospoda, a microbrewery located nearby for more beer- accepted Bitcoin too!

David

Thank you for the wrote up. Bummer I missed it!

loving this pool.

question to people: currently i have speed of 400 mghps

which of those setups ud suggest for me to make most i can:
1. Easy Mode   - Allows you to mine at reduced difficulty by setting a higher than default target for proofs-of-work submits per minute
2. Prepay BTC   Immediate pay for bitcoin blocks. No waiting for 120 confirmations. No lost coins if the block is later orphaned. Note: does not apply to stale blocks.
3. Prepay NMC   Immediate pay for namecoin blocks. No waiting for 120 confirmations. No lost coins if the block is later orphaned. Note: does not apply to stale blocks.

im not too good with maths. heres my current stats:

IIRC Easy mode has no influence on "making the most".

Good info on the prepay perks:

I have provided a signed version of the SHA1 hash of the file:
http://www.bitaddress.org/ninja_bitaddress.org.txt - PGP Public Key
http://www.bitaddress.org/pgpsignedmsg.txt - Signed Message
Key fingerprint = 527B 5C82 B1F6 B2DB 72A0 ECBF 8749 7B91 6397 4F5A

For those of us Noobs, and for the purposes of education and security, how can we check the the Signed Message? I have GPG on my computer and only know how to check a .sig file as Canton showed on his site.

[...]

Easiest for me (using KGpg): Import the public key, copy the whole message text to the clipboard, select "Sign/Verify Clipboard":
Code:
Good signature from:

The signature was created at Friday, October 25, 2013 05:57:16 AM
The signature is valid, but the key is untrusted

Sorry for the late reply. I got my bitcent pretty much straight away after chatting with you.

I still like Gliph a lot and use it where I can. The only thing I noticed: I'm on very slow networks sometimes (for comparisons, think 14.4k modems...). I noticed that Whatsapp messages still manage to sneak through, whereas on Gliph they get stuck. I would also like to be able to write messages offline and Gliph would then send them once I got connectivity again.

For gli.ph/m/ could we get a "regular" interface? That Iphone doesn't work for usability IMHO.

Edit: Can you "even out" the features set between the Iphone and Android app?

1576  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Gliph - Secure Messaging and Bitcoin Transfers on iOS, Android and the Web on: November 01, 2013, 08:33:53 PM
I can't see te feature to send money anywhere.

When in the chat, tap the "+" next to the box where you would type a message.
1577  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - Exchange Now Open with Live Trading USD, EUR, BTC, LTC, XRP on: November 01, 2013, 01:06:02 PM
Can you make a deposit options through debit/credit card VISA/MASTER or Skrill or PayPal or 2checkout?
I want to make a small deposit of 10-20 EUR by SEPA, but I have to pay 15 EUR fee for international transfer and I have to wait about 3 business days to process the payment, that is absolutely stupid and pointless.
Sorry but I don't want to pay such high fees.
Please add the alternative, fast and cheap ways to deposit.
Otherwise, the site is very nice and I like it, but unfortunately I can not use it because I don't want to do SEPA Deposit.
Thank you.

Where are you sending your money from? SEPA transfers (in EUR) are usually free:

I noticed that the donation page ignores the hundredths when you're putting in a percentage. I was trying to put in 0.25% to activate the API perk, but it keeps rounding down to 0.2%. Ended up having to put in 0.3% to activate the perk. Tongue

That was the case for me too.
1579  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: November 01, 2013, 09:12:29 AM
455MHz @ 32C?  Shocked Are you running them in your fridge???
Anyway I'll try with my air cooled bitburners and "--avalon-auto". Let's see what happens...
For me "--avalon-auto" results in slower hashrates - after about 10h it went down to ~320MHz (starting at 380MHz). I'll try again with v3.4.3, maybe this will result in better rates...

I would really like to see pictures of solaris setup, must look awesome.
+1

sorry for the delay. I had problems with my PC.

I can't install the usb driver on win8 because of a missing hash, any tipps?

Which mining software? With cgminer you don't need to install drivers. Check the READMEs.
