2021  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Bitcoin Faucet Helper Chrome Extension on: July 08, 2012, 05:19:43 AM
- It seems to "forget" sometimes when faucets where visited. I.e. I visit Coinad and DailyBTC at the same time every day, but after a few days only the pop-up for Coinad would show up.

- There's no more time shown on the options page at all.

- Coin Slot seems to be down, as in: not paying out anymore :-(

- http://bitvisitor.com might be a candidate.

Edit: http://bitcrate.net/ could be back soon.
2022  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any GLBSE app for android yet or coming? on: July 08, 2012, 04:00:24 AM

Works on Galaxy Y.

GLBSE response time is incredibly slow.

No kidding!

Looks great so far!

2024  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Butterfly Labs Preorder on: July 07, 2012, 02:00:16 PM
the difficulty will go high up to the sky, then the after a while the bitcoin exchange rates will go down

How is difficulty related to the exchange rate?
2025  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which one do you like ? on: July 07, 2012, 01:00:19 PM
First one here as well.  It looks more "professional" or "legit".
^
And one more.
2026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Announce] new ad supported bitcoin faucet mycryptcoin.com on: July 07, 2012, 12:56:35 PM
Today I'm getting “Server Error in '/' Application” when I try to get bitcoins.

Again:

Code:
Server Error in '/' Application.

Runtime Error

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="Off"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

but we still haven't reached 21 million images yet.
I actually like that one.  Cool

Thanks for the suggestions. I still think it'd be nice to have it in the forum. Google says there's mods available for it.
2028  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] ASIC.COOP ASIC MINERS COOPERATIVE 1 BTC PER ~190MH/s NOW LIVE! on: July 06, 2012, 02:55:21 PM
I'm sorry to say that it's very unlikely that I'll be able to make it for another 60 BTC until next Wednesday.  Sad

Anyone with a cheap loan?
2029  Economy / Securities / Re: [Investment fund] Gamma Bitcoin Fund on: July 06, 2012, 02:38:49 PM
... SEPA transfer ...
Plenty of SEPA offers on BTC OTC. Although, yeah, the weekend....

Now that we got the watch option... Is the opposite possible too? I.e. I'm not interested and don't want to see / read about it anymore - ever.

2033  Economy / Securities / Re: (GLBSE) TYGRR.BOND-P 6.8% weekly uninsured pass though bond to BTCST on: July 03, 2012, 03:35:12 AM
~12 hours from now. It's in the OP.

The price in OP is in USD, I'd think it will be ordered / bought as soon as the shares hit that price. Be it by exchange rate, returns from the 1% investment or number of shares sold. Once the order is placed I expect no more shares will be sold.

I agree there should be a plan B for not getting the money together by XX date. Either getting Singles or pay back 1 BTC per share + what was made with the 1% investment / number of shares.

Edit: realised 1% investment is paid out as dividends.
2036  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] ASIC.COOP ASIC MINERS COOPERATIVE 1 BTC PER ~190MH/s NOW LIVE! on: July 02, 2012, 04:17:49 PM
Ok, I'm interested.

Seeing the response so far... When is the cut off for the decision to go with Singles or the rig?

If we have not pre-ordered until day X and a competitive product comes along, how would this be handled?
2037  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] BMF - Crash Tactics on: July 02, 2012, 03:14:38 PM

Looks good!

What made you get rid of COGNITIVE?

Could you add a column what the tickers actually are? Some suggestions: i.e. Mining bond, Mining company (actually mining), Mining company (not (yet) mining)

From that thread (a bot project that sadly failed):

...  Trying to tell bankers why I need these accounts and why I need to constantly send money back and forth was not really productive. After looking into it the only real way for me to do this on any sort of scale (at a reasonable fee) was to become a registered business somewhere. ...

... The biggest fee we have is moving USD around from exchange to exchange not the trading fees. If we wait until the imbalance goes the other way then it takes a long while. Moving USD from Mt Gox to BTC-e was not cheap.  ...

tl;dr: You'll need a way to shift fiat with banks quickly and low fees.
