Just purchased on Bitmit; he asked to release funds early since I have low rep (I just opened this Bitmit account). Just released funds; waiting on key.

Having same issue; I'd be worried if I didn't have those backups regularly submitted. My android wallet is entirely separate from my normal one; I don't have backups of that... Here's hoping their system isn't totally borked, or I may have to go do surgery on my Android to recover a cached copy of the wallet if possible to avoid a 10 BTC loss... I'm sure they'll be back soon? Would be nice to get some form of acknowledgement on their Twitter or on here, but maybe I'm not looking in the right places.

Those are my USD, not yours . . . This is not at all clear under US law, which would presumably apply given Bitfloor's ties to the US. Au contraire, US law is perfectly clear on the matter: These are all things for the legal council (and if it goes to U.S. court, the judge) to decide in order to figure out what actions are appropriate. That's where the "due process of law" comes in. You're entitled to your process, BitFloor is entitled to theirs. BitFloor seeking legal council is where he ensures that he is acting in a way most within the law. Your process would be serving BitFloor and/or suing them. Things are not that simple that withdrawals can happen just for the solvent parts of the business held; welcome to the world of BitCoin, where everything is without absolute legal precedent (yet). If a legal precedent can be set that the BTC has value, it would be illegal for them to use any portion of the assets (including remaining balances held for what wasn't hacked) to pay out to anybody until the appropriate process on reimbursing has been determined in court. This WILL not be a quick process. The only quick process would be if the coins were returned by the hacker, or if someone invested BTC in BitFloor in exchange for ownership (or a portion of). I'd imagine this case (albeit not a likely one) is the one that BitFloor is hoping for the most. Best case for USD holders (and worst case for BTC holders) is that his legal council (or the court system) determines that BTC will be considered "worthless" and that USD should be distributed to account holders as it's the only part of BitFloor that needs to be legally held solvent. However, I can just about guarantee that if this happens, anyone holding a large amount of BTC will file an injunction and appeal, which will almost certainly prevent payout of USD funds from happening quickly. Hang on folks, this is likely to be an interesting one, especially since it's occurring in the oh-so-litigious US.

Please note that I have taken the website offline. I am consulting legal council about the current situation and will post once I have more details. I want to make sure the matter is handled appropriately given the financial situation the exchange is currently in.
The website was causing too much confusion in the current form and once I have more details I will post a very clear message for all users.
This is the best option for you. Given the size of the loss (assuming the courts system would hold up a value for the BTC lost if action was taken against you), you're looking at a huge risk if you handle things inappropriately and any one of your users files any sort of legal action against you. We appreciate the notice, but you need to cover your butt, especially if you're in the US. At current exchange rate, a loss of a quarter million U.S. dollars worth of a commodity is gigantic and definitely warrants legal council on how to proceed. You seem like a nice guy and I really appreciated the service when it was running before all this. Assuming you're not the perpetrator (something that a few members might suggest in speculation), I wish you the best and hope things can be resolved. Your personally liability for this may be incredible compared to any sort of profit you may have realized for providing the service. Looking out for your personal future (not even the future of BitFloor), I would seek immediate legal council. Sadly, if you seek GOOD legal council... Their first piece of advice would probably to take the site down with a notice and keep as quiet as possible until everything is figured out. Best of luck.

Since I'm down I checked on a few competitors and noticed mmoclub.com has dropped their pricing down to about $1.37/mil (they used to be above $2.20/mil) and they accept Bitcoin. I don't know about their reputation or how quick they are, but they might be something to look into. I can't beat their prices now

One of my supplier's went MIA after I sent him money, so until that gets resolved I'm shutting down operations... Probably resolved by tomorrow. Will update here with stock/pricing then.

Just sold off most of what I have, down to 10mil and headed out the door for Six Flags for the rest of the day. I'll see about getting more stock either tonight or early tomorrow. Have a good day everyone!

WOULD LIKE TO BUY 10 MILLION GOLD PM ME IF AVAILABLE(SORRY FOR CAPS)
Just wanted to mention that I traded with btcville a few minutes ago and everything went very smoothly! Look forward to doing business again in the future. That brings my approximate stock down to 30mil, and my availability tomorrow is only up to 11AM PST. After that I'll be in Six Flags with family for the rest of the day likely. I should be available most of the rest of the week though. If anyone needs more than 30mil, please let me know and I will see if I can get more stock.

Hey bitcoinville, sorry I didn't get your post right away. I would be happy to do business with you. Please PM me so we can arrange a time we'll both be on. Using a PM means I'll get notification immediately via e-mail. Posts on this thread do not give me immediate notification, which is why I did not reply to you right away! Thanks.

Alright guys, shop is back open. Managed to get 60mil! Pricing is competitive to the only other BTC sellers I know about and better rates than you'd get on RMAH. First-come-first-serve, recommend that you PM me for a quick trade. Current Status:

Hey guys, so I guess TizzyTazzy/IcyBlueHell (my primary competition) has disappeared from the BTC<->D3Gold market... I feel like I need to fill in that gap now as a service to the BTC community, so I'm opening up shop again. I'll work on buying from my suppliers at better than $1.81 to get them to sell to me again, and then I'll start selling it for BTC again for probably a little over $2.00. Will still beat out my BTC competitor's prices and the RMAH prices as long as it makes sense. Only thing that will stop me is if I get banned. Not too worried since I don't play much any more though. If TizzyTazzy/IcyBlueHell (or somebody else selling in bulk for good pricing) shows up again to take the business back over I'll go ahead and step down again. Will update again when I get stock.

Freemoney, have you done or gotten anyone to work with the client proof-of-concept I gave you from a few weeks back? I'm looking at possibly getting back into full-time work for the next few months at my on-call job, but that usually means I'll have a lot of "paid" down-time in the office. That means if I have spare time, I'm considering picking up working on a Python/PySide-based client for Seals with Clubs for fun again. I only choose the Python/PySide route because it allows me to rapidly prototype, and I know *most* of that stuff compared to the Java route. If you've got an artist that can draw mock-ups of an ideal Seals with Clubs GUI for: - Lobby Chat
- Ring Lobby
- Tournament Lobby
- Tables
That would be very helpful. I'm not an artist myself and new to GUI programming, but having something to shoot for would let me code towards a goal. P.S. Are we confident Infiniti Poker is going to take out Seals with Clubs when it comes to Bitcoin poker? Their front-page sure looks pretty... But that's all I've seen so far.

Since I can't beat em, I'll join em. No way I'll price my stuff under $1.81 like he does now that RMAH is an option. Bought 70+mil from him, smooth trade. He even went first! Will buy again either if I need more gold, or if I need to go BTC->USD and want to use D3 as an intermediary.

Just wanted to chime in and let everyone know I'm not selling for the day (have too much on-call work today!), but thought I'd bump Tizzy. Tizzy reduced his prices (apparently) to .200 BTC/mil, which comes out to $1.82/mil approximately at the current exchange rate. This is a HIGHLY competitive rate and better than what you'd get anywhere else if you were doing business in USD right now. In fact, the best rates I can find in USD are $2.05/mil to $1.93/mil depending on volume purchased. .200 BTC/mil right now is basically what my bottom line would be right now at the current exchange rates, so he is giving a hell of a deal here. I don't think I could even reduce my prices below that amount, as I'd be better off selling RMAH!
