This is an example from a very small community, a village in fact. Too small to be considered a city. This is the ritual across the entire country. Millions of people drove millions of cars to watch, I would guess, trillions of these fireworks. But are we thinking about where that smoke goes and contains or just taking for granted the ecosystem will clean all, or worse, not putting any thought to it? Perhaps we do think the risk is worth the reward in a conscious decision but, I think we overlook risk too easily while fixated on rewards.

I do not mean to suggest I feel fireworks, celebrations, or breathing metals for that matter are 'necessarily bad' and it all needs to be stopped. Though, I think the breathing metals part would need a substantial reward for the risks involved. I did enjoy the fireworks, but more so the time with friends and family. But I wonder at what costs.

It seems all the Independence Day celebrations are fizzling out.

I am pondering if we will be willing to accept the consequences of our actions or if we even realize them or care to, generally speaking. I hope EGC can make the ignorance argument less valid for our future selves. We should always question what effect we might be causing and question if the risk worth the reward.

While pumps might be a 'nature of the beast' to some degree, lies are certainly not our style. EverGreenCoin has always been, and will always be, honest.

I think lies would only have a negative impact on market cap in the long run. I am sure the vast majority of the community would agree.

While we do have a growing community in Canada, there are some false tweets pertaining to EverGreenCoin being made.

I have asked this Twitter user to not tweet falsities about EverGreenCoin. The account has very few followers. Regardless, I have asked for its removal.

This WhatsApp conversation I had with an EverGreenCoin holder summarizes my sentiment.



This holder continued to explain how they felt this would be good for market cap. Of course, I strongly disagree and explained we do not need to resort to such antics to increase market cap. This was explained to the Twitter user as well. Hopefully, the tweet is deleted soon.

Due to a lack of entries, the current EverGreenCoin Cannabis T-shirt raffle is being extended to include the entire month of July. We will draw the winner during July 28th's community meeting and hangout. Not at this weekend's hangout as previously planned.

The short, very short it seems, 2 weeks since the announcement has not allowed for advertising the raffle much at all. This will give us all more time to spread the word of the promotional effort.

We could also give away entries for participants of the bitcointalk signature campaign and the forthcoming Twitter campaign. Perhaps one free entry per week of participation in either. Having the t-shirt raffle a monthly raffle and adding a second t-shirt option perhaps. I know some of the community does not want, or could not, wear a shirt with a certain leaf. Of course, we do not want people to misinterpret EGC as a cannabis-only-coin or think it prerequisite to the community. It certainly is not and we do have community members in all areas of the spectrum when it comes to the topic.

Hi Pajulapoiss, that is great news! And some very good questions. Thank you for asking them.

It is 100 EGC per video. If you make 5 different videos of 5 different tree plantings, yes you can be paid 500 EGC total. I do kindly ask you to make sure the videos are easily distinguishable as different. Perhaps different angles / backgrounds / tools / people / ect. and different steps in the time lapses you are creating. Multiple, of what appear to be, copies of the same video / event will be of little if any use. In that event, only the best will be selected and paid for.
 
I do ask you to use a physical logo. This can be as simple as printing one out or even having the logo on your phone and held visible in the picture, if your phone is not the camera you will be using. So long as it is easily viewable and legible. If we allow for edited-in logos, someone might try falsifying a submission, so I think it's best we not allow for that.
