202  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: BFL Single or ASUS 7970? on: June 15, 2012, 08:32:01 PM
this is a good question and i would add in the hd5970 also as an option, since it's cheaper than the hd7970 and the performance is similar (according to https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison).

Right now I have an hd5770, but i would like to replace it for a good card for mining and playing. The BFL would be a nice complement to have mining while playing Tongue
203  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Steam games & bitcoin. on: June 13, 2012, 12:37:29 PM
there is also www.steamcoin.com . although it doesn't even show up in a google "steam bitcoin" search, the topic on the forum does. they really need to improve their visibility...
204  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: trading bitcoins for MTGO tix? on: June 11, 2012, 11:08:52 PM
Magic the Gathering Online event tickets/tix. It's the game's "currency".

i don't want any in particular, I just thought it was something I could trade (buy/sell) easily and i only found one or two guys in the forum doing it. I will probably start trading them on otc and similar services.

I never really understood what business mtgox.com had before turning into a bitcoin trading site. I heard of MTG items being traded, but I never saw it myself Ari.
205  Other / Beginners & Help / trading bitcoins for MTGO tix? on: June 10, 2012, 02:02:21 PM
Are there many Magic the Gathering Online players around? I might start trading bitcoins <-> MTGO tix soon if there is interest.
206  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do you use Bitcoins? on: June 10, 2012, 11:45:02 AM
I'm in for the long term, because I believe Bitcoin will become a major worldwide currency, and I rather start adopting it now that bitcoins are still cheap.

1 BTC is essentially one 21millionth of the future world economy (at least the part that deals with bitcoins, which I expect to become quite a significant portion). I feel just fine having a few thousand units of that in my pocket.

I'm not sure litecoin has an established market price, but you can try trading them on some service like bitcoin-otc.com
