Any pool owners interested in collaborating on a MemoryCoin pool?
I expect most MC miners will prefer to be part of a pool rather than solo mining. On the client side, I'll also be building pool functionality into the MC wallet . . so new users will have zero configuration to do to start mining in a pool.
Edit: Seems it is not as easy as I thought - I've added a $100 bounty - see below.
I'll add 500 MEG to to the bounty as well.

Any word from any exchanges on when they'll have Pennies?
Cryptsy has said "soon" and then "very soon" in the last 48 hours. Its #1 on their list. Phenixex has also stated it is on their list for implementation. I think that "very soon" was ment for some sha256 coin, but not pennies. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=246679.msg3005931#msg3005931Anyway I hope to see pennies during this week. Whenever it does make the exchanges, I think the coin has a future. For those that have mined it, they've kept part if not all of their hashing on it. I love the concept behind it.

I have requested that all exchanges considering Pennies stop and do not list them.
Shake, the majority of people like your coin, enjoy mining it, enjoy the UI and ideas behind it, and think the launch was perfectly fine. Don't let one idiot's random aspergers holier-than-thou opinion sway you and ruin everyone's fun. Coins being listed and traded is part of the 'fun' of crypto. I think pennies are a good fit for altcoin trading platforms because they are fun, easy to understand, have a good dev behind them and was a fair enough launch. I don't have a huge vested interest...I have a whole 16 of them...But many people are excited about pennies and would enjoy trading them. Plus, I mean c'mon, they are pennies If anyone is trying to get rich offa pennies they gotta rethink their investment strategy! Amen billym2k!

Does it build a bitfile?
No.. there was no binary file generated Unfortunately that stretches my knowledge to the limit. I have never seen it just return to a command prompt with no message of any sort. Have you tried running it with no switches except for --scrypt and -o <pool>?

im using an AMD HD6570M on my laptop.. yes I was trying to run it on the command line on the directory itself where it was extracted to.. no response when running the CENTgpuminer itself.. type the program name, press enter and no response... thanks for your help.
That should work, are you able to use cgminer for other scrypt coins? It almost sounds like you don't have the AMD SDK installed with the driver so it can't find your GPU. Yes.. i have been using the cgminer for this gpu and its working just fine. I am just wondering why its not responding when I try to use this Centgpuminer. It does have to build the bitfile, but that shouldn't take more than a minute. Does it just go back to prompt by itself with no error then?

Thanks.. but it seems this is not working for me..im using win7 64 bit What error are you getting? What is your command line? the cmd window just closes off with no error.. CENTgpu.exe --scrypt -w 256 --shaders 900 -s 1 --lookup-gap 2 -I 10 -d 0 -o http://cent.coinmine.pl:7070 -u username -p xxxxx Open a command window, go to the directory where the miner is, and run that line interactively so you can see the error, then let me know what it is. What video card are you using? It is a stratum pool, so use stratum+tcp in place of http, it should still work though.

Now if i could mine some that would be nice too. By a long shot, this is the best way to mine them: http://cent.coinmine.pl/ and how do I mine it there? I'm trying with i5 but no results at all. GPU miner mentioned earlier in this thread. Is there a standalone CPU miner? I am not sure. GPU will not work soon though with N changes likely.

new pool launched: and here are the rules: 1. you setup your miners and point them to the pool 2. pool fee is 1% 3. auto payout threshold is set between 10 and 50 pennies and you will get php floor function of your balance e.g. if you earned 10.1 and your threshold is set to 10 you will receive 10 and 0.1 is going to the pool wallet - don't ask to change it 4. same rules for manual payouts - if you have 1.99 penny on your account and you will decide to cash out you will receive 1 and 0.99 goes to pool wallet feeleep Excellent Pennie pool feeleep, I've had 0 issues on it since I started mining on it over a week ago.

23 orphans so far, garbage...

Yes! Nice, small but steady steps in the right direction.

The pool won't accept any new connections, my current miners that are running are running ok, but any new connections are not happening.

We really need another pool. Is anyone else working on one?

It's fast, I'll post then all in one place, the source code: http://stonefoz.myfastmail.com/cpuminer-quark.zipthe binary: please check if it loads the right libraries. "minerd-bin" is the real thing and "minerd" is a script to set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH current directory. Who knows? you might already have libjannson installed. http://stonefoz.myfastmail.com/cpuminer-quark-bin.zipI wrote this cause I'm greedy, and so I leave my tipjar BTC:1DaSUSqcr13G4QJYamsecW6yHh95QTT39R LTC:LcsdTfxZhs3e1vx9WmrwbMiE7uTtDqjh1g QRK:QQRNpg7aGHcvgEFvXEk1DoCtLydboVsAzf Any plans for a windoze build. I am not savvy on windows, but would love to have a version to throw on a windows box.

If this does indeed resolve all 3 issues, then this coin just became very valuable.
