Even though this topic has been dormant for a long time, there have been some developments;

It seems that the people behind this scam are the same as an older scam called Recyclix.

A Swedish Lawyer called Lars Olofsson who is spearheading a class action lawsuit in the JF case has uncovered the scammer's real identities. The similarities in the cases are striking, to say the least.

I just checked NAstyfans, and I get a message that my account is terminated? I'm guessing this is a mistake since I logged in at the time of my previous messages in this thread. Can you guys tell me what I do next?

In recent times you sold all your seats. This changes your account to non-member status. nastyfans policy states non-member accounts are terminated after 30 days.

I enable now your non-member account and reset 30 day counter for your account. If you do not purchase a seat within 30 days your non-member account will terminate again.

One of the reasons I was gonna check my account was to see the status of the Silver coin I won in the lottery, which I had not received, but I'm guessing this is connected to my account being terminated.

We wait for OgNasty to auction unclaimed prizes as we voted in poll. After poll obligations complete you will receive your prize even if your account is terminated since giveaway. You do not need to become a member for this reason.

Hi Nonnakip!

Thanks for your super clear answers!
I did not realise that the seats I put up for sale had been sold! That explains it all.

I'm hoping to receive my silver coin soon Smiley

Thanks!

Hi!

OgNasty, how do you see the recent developments around to huge amount of Chinese hashpower quitting and selling their gear?

Do you see this as a buying opportunity for Nastyfans to get some mining equipment?

Cheers!

There’s a huge amount of gear going offline and coming online again. Most of the operations are relocating or selling massive amounts of gear to large entities, so I think the opportunity will be limited to miners getting a couple weeks of low difficult rewards.

With BTC prices having dropped nearly 50% so quickly, I’d personally rather be a seller than a buyer of anything priced in USD right now.

I also don’t think we’ve dabbled in used equipment before and with the rate of failure we’ve seen in new equipment, buying used stuff now seems like a risk as you’d likely get the stuff the big companies thought was in too bad of shape to sell to their large partners.

Thanks for your reply!
Those sound like reasonable considerations.

7  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: labcoin lawsuit on: July 18, 2018, 08:49:48 PM

I finally got the summary on how to proceed with the case from the lawyer.

Here it is:

The trial will start in Cagliari (Sardinia) on 12 September and almost certainly will be able to split into some hearings depending on the choices of Armandi’s defense.

Any postponement of the hearing could last a few months.

In the event of procedural problems (such as errors in notifying the defendant), the timing could be further extended.

What could happen:

1) "Plea bargain": The defendant agrees a sentence with the Prosecutor and the Judge accepts the agreement: in this case there will be no reimbursement of damages, but only legal fees.

2) "Abbreviated": The defendant decides to do the trial without witnesses to save time and have a penalty discount. In this case the injured parties have less of a chance to prove the damages suffered, but in the event of conviction they can get compensation.

3) "Debate": The defendant chooses to run the full trial. In this case all the injured parties who want to get compensation must come to Italy to testify and explain to the judge what damage they have suffered. The process in this case will last longer and, in the event of a conviction, the civil parties will be able to obtain compensation.

What does it mean to get compensation (number 2 and 3)?

If Armandi is convicted, the judge can establish that Armandi must immediately pay at least some of the damage in favor of the civil parties (injured parties). The judge could also say that the compensation will have to take place after Armandi's appeal. Legal fees are never refunded before the second degree. It could also happen that the Judge condemns Armandi, but tells the civil parties that the quantification of compensation must be deferred to a civil judge. In any case, even if Armandi is sentenced to pay, it is not said that he will pay on his own initiative. The sentence can be executed only if he has a salary, or owns a saving or checking account, real estate, other assets or the shares of a company.

How can Armandi be condemned for damages?

You must be a civil party by the beginning of September.

Only people who have been damaged in the Labcoin project in 2013 can ask the Judge to take up the role of civil parties (injured parties) into the trial.

Anyone wishing to establish himself as civil party must sign a special power of attorney in Italian before the lawyer in Italy, or before a notary (or a diplomatic agent at a Consulate or an Italian Embassy abroad).

The text of the power of attorney will be sent to the interested party directly by the lawyer via e-mail. The notary's authenticity must be in Italian, or translated by the notary himself or by an official translator in Italian. The original document must be sent in original by post to the law firm by mid July.

The costs of authentication, translation and mailing of the deed must be beared by the party willing to establish himself as damaged party in the trial.

What are the legal fees for the establishment of a civil party and participation in the trial?

 A)     Just virtualspade

Indicatively the total cost for the participation of a lawyer ("honorary") representing virtualspade is 4,000 euros for the entire duration of the first degree of judgment (hypothesis No. 3).

To this sum must be added the costs of air transfer to Cagliari to be quantified in about 500 euros if the trip can take place in the day, or in 800-1000 euros if the trip involves the need to stay in the hotel.

B)      virtualspade + 1

In the event that other people establish themselves as civil parties in addition to virtualspade, it will be appropriate to involve a second defender representing the other damaged shareholders. It can be assumed that the total costs of two lawyers are 8,000 euros (if the people who make up are two).

C)      virtualspade + many others

To the sum defined at point B) must be added 700 euros for each additional civil party that want to be added to the trial.

In this way, if you wanted to constitute 50 people, the total cost would be 41,600 euros (equal to 8000 euros + 700 euros x 48 people) which, divided equally, would involve an expenditure of only 832 euros per person (which would reach around 1000 euros including travel expenses).

In the hypothesis 2) the fees will be reduced by 10%, without prejudice to the out-of-pocket expenses.

In the hypothesis 1) the fees will be reduced by 20%, without prejudice to the out-of-pocket expenses.

The above-mentioned fees are understood to include a special tax for lawyers (CPA 4%), but VAT (in Italy equal to 22%) is excluded.

Each client will pay half of the fees due by bank transfer at the time of sending the special power of attorney.

The remaining half of the balance must be paid by the end of 2018, always by bank transfer.
Let me know if you need any more information.

Best regards

Riccardo Marini

I'm very busy this weekend, so I'll just post this without comments.

If you are interested in joining the case, and willing to do what is needed, and have the money, pm me or send
email to labcoin(dot)scam(at)gmail(dot)com.

I'm going to be away until next week, so if you have any questions you'll have to wait until then.

Wow thanks for your perseverance! Sad to see that there are so few replies here, hopefully some people got in touch with you to see this through.
I wont be able to help but I am interested to see how this turns out since I was affected by one of Armandi's other scams.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NASTYMINING!

Six years ago I decided I didn't like the way people were selling fixed hashrate mining opportunities and I wanted to do something different and honest that could benefit the community as a whole instead of just the issuer of the asset.  NastyMining was what I came up with and it has come a very long way in the last 6 years.  It is a dream come true to be able to continue working on this project and I thank every single of one of you who has contributed in one form or another.  I hope I am able to continue having fun with my fellow NastyFans for the rest of my life.  Long live Bitcoin.

In honor of this 6 year accomplishment (huge in the Bitcoin space) I am offering a raffle to raise some funds and have some fun.  Enjoy!

Pretty crazy that it's been six years already! Well Done! Cheesy
9  Economy / Securities / Re: distributions 261-263 on: December 26, 2017, 05:58:33 PM
Distribution 261 is still pending. Distributions 262 and 263 are in queue for posting. I wait 1 more week for 261 to process before double spending with higher txfee.

nastyfans thanks the donators.

Members can check their payouts for queued distributions on history page under "show details" of "donation history".

Last 4 weeks distribution NastyPoP payout rates (vs. expected):
window158 0.00005052 BTC per TH/s (3.9%)
window159 0.00000000 BTC per TH/s (0.0%)
window160 0.00000000 BTC per TH/s (0.0%)
window161 0.00001388 BTC per TH/s (1.4%)

I work to move all nastyfans addresses to SegWit. This will help our transactions be accepted and allow more room on blocks for others.

Some members share concern about seat auction prices equal to txfees. I consider some ideas. It is difficult to consider off-chain transactions without making nastyfans a bank. I stay confident that we innovate a solution. Bitcoin network is at >100% capacity again. It is time to innovate again.

Thank you for starting to work on implementing Segwit! Far to few people are doing this, or taking their sweet time, while it is badly needed! Thanks once more!

5 years ago nastyfans auction opens. I post some fun facts about the fifth year of nastyfans...

There are many things in planning. It will be fun to see the list in December 2018.

I thank the members for making this fanclub so much fun to be with!

Wow, amazing facts and stats! Thanks for this!

Hey, I would like to voice some support to phelixes site; I became used to monitor new topics from there and now it doesn't work anymore  Sad

I hope this gets sorted out because the list of the most viewed topics was really nice.

Same here! It was such a usefull feature!

Are we anticipating picking up any More L3+'s based on what we're seeing so far?

I'm not making any more purchases until we get our S9 back from warranty repair and we have our D3 up and running.  I am a bit curious if fans want to continue mining BTC with our altcoin miners to increase distributions, or if we should be saving the LTC & Dash instead.  Perhaps a poll is in order?

Is there an option to mine Monero with the hardware we have? It seems to me as one of the very few worthwhile altcoin projects!

17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis on: September 15, 2017, 02:12:03 PM
What did he mean by daylight savings? Is it about the date when the Summer Time ends (around 1 November)? What about it?

I think it was a bad translation. My basic takeaway: Low $3000s (down to $3000) is buy support. Below this level (and below the weekly 20MA) would be a major overlap. As an aside, such an overlap would be bearish from the perspective of Elliott Wave Theory. If $3000 holds, the bullish picture remains ($40,000+ by 2019), and this would just be considered another healthy correction.

Unfortunately, this sets up a "darkest before dawn" scenario. Testing the weekly 20MA is healthy. Overlapping is not. In this case, both scenarios are a stone's throw away from one another. It's an extremely binary scenario. One sets off the run to $6000s, the other sets off a prolonged bear market.

Thanks for the (I think correct) interpretation of the message from MasterLuc Smiley
18  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: [11kW SOLAR/WIND] NastyMining Green Energy Project on: September 08, 2017, 06:58:39 AM
With the ruling of the Arizona Corporation Commission being finalized and the expiration of previously offered solar rate options on September 1st, I am happy to say that we have locked in solar rate sellback pricing for the next 20 years.  We will receive a minimum of $0.145 per kWh for the next 20 years, while new solar customers will currently receive $0.125 per kWh, an amount will be lowered by 10% per year until it reaches commercial rates.

This is a big win for the Green Energy Project, as it assures us not only access to cheap power, but access to a high compensation rate for excess produced energy decades into the future.

Thats a really sweet deal. Awesome!
19  Economy / Securities / Re: distribution 246 on: August 29, 2017, 07:26:05 AM

window144 0.00001310 BTC per TH/s (0.7%)

NastyPool is running latest P2Pool with SegWit support.

Ah cool, thanks for being ontop of things regarding SegWit support aswell!

Yesterday I put up the deposit for the order and provided Tesla with pictures of the installation area as well as information about my sub panels and breaker boxes, etc...  Today an employee at Tesla reached out to me to let me know they have submitted the information to their engineering team.  I should be hearing back from them in about a week to approve design plans.

Awesome! I didn't think there would be a powerwall this quickly. Nice work!
