Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Radeon VII or RTX2080
|
on: February 10, 2019, 04:55:10 PM

Hey guys, I've been away from the scene for a while - I'm in the market for a new GPU (mostly for gaming, but I want it to be crypto friendly too)
I'm aware of the pros/cons of the Radeon VII and the RTX2080 for gaming - but would like to know which folks think offers the most potential for mining usage?
Thanks!

c @cryptorainbow Bitcointalk Airdrop Balance USD Airdrop Address stevebc 3188.14 5969.03 187.23% $15012.34 DsXvXkqTycXZj4r7WMmuioyWQcPGUj9cCW Showing 1 to 1 of 1 entries (filtered from 690 total entries) Previous1Next I've missed two airdrops now. Last week I didn't get paid out because I messed up change-coin usage and had less than 90% in the right address for a few hours (only) - but this week I've had well over the total Airdrop amount in my Airdrop address. I've been posting/participating everywhere also. Is there a bug in the code that's not picking me up, or is deliberate that a one-off mistake with change-coin disqualifies me from all future airdrops? Thanks!

Does this refer to staking? I don't really get what touching means in this case. "-If the applicant has touched their airdrop wallet"
If it didn't changed, you can move 10% of your Onions (from airdrop) wherever you want and do what you want with it : sell, donate, put in an other wallet. But if you move more than 10% of your airdrop Onions you are blacklisted. The Onions that you earned by staking, mining or buying are not affected by this rule. I read it as while you can sell up to 10% and still be eligible for the airdrop, doing so will make you ineligible for the extra 'support factor' group. I could well be wrong though!

We processed under reviews up to 28 Aug you can check status from https://deeponion.org/community/check_status.phpif you see text Blacklisted Found suspicious activity it means you are denied for participating the airdrop Some of the reasons for this Burst Posting, 1 Liner / Low Quality, SOLD/FARM Accounts, Account just Wakeup, 1 Day Poster Unfortunately we denied most of new applicants. Current deny list has now 720 userids, 36 applications review waiting. I suggest those people waiting review increasing their post quality mean time. This will give you better chance for approvals. Now that 1 Deep Onion is so much more expensive than 1 material vegetal onion (1 Deep Onion can now buy some Kg of Vegetal Onions) everybody suddenly wants to join the party, now matter how. Devs do a good job to filter new applications. People can say what they want about Onions, but I can't buy any other cryptos in my local supermarkets produce aisle:) It's pretty crazy really...if Deep Onion goes up much more it will be worth more traditional Onions than a person can carry!

Sure, it's done for me... ERC23 tokens, i'll take without problems. could be great, like 40 000 unities of them... Speed up if you want participate. Jr Member minimum and >1/07/2017 Yeah, that airdrop looked good while it lasted. It’s kind of funny to see how many people participate in Airdrops and it equals up to an amount like 20,000 participants and the developers or the campaign manager writes that they met they max limit within a couple of days of posting the details. I think that if they require people to do something for them like post within a social media website or something then they would have more people that show their activity for the coin and the project will have more success later on since they will look popular. Pretty sure that project will fizzle - their distribution model was insanely foolish. They could have given 40000 participants 1000 SDRN, instead of 1000 participants 40000 SRDN - and got 40 times the buzz for the same 'cost'. Given they weren't smart enough to see that, I wouldn't expect much from them.

I heard this coin is going to moon, but honestly I've never heard of this coin until just recently. Can someone post here news about this coin or any details on the project itself. I am curious on my people are buying and getting this coin through airdrops.
hi nelmari, please read ANN OP to have more info, here is the link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2006010.0you can also click on my signature to apply for airdrop if you meet the requirements i have checked! you are a full memebr so you can apply, good on you. consider that if you join you are going to receive circa 250 USD per week at current price , you can't sell more then 10% of airdrop received, have to post 10x on weekly basis in every section of forum, change signature according to status member I heard good and bad things about deeponion like someone file a scam accusation in it but I'm really curios about this. And as what I can see in the market, the price is really booming. Thanks for the info @bucciarati, maybe that will help a lot. I'll try to look at it. There was some people affiliated with a quasi-competitor project that were spreading a lot of FUD about deeponion. It was annoying, but also quite encouraging. It really backfired on them as their attempts to hate on onions showed us they were afraid it has the potential to eclipse there project!! The scam accusation is particularly hilarious. Most of the airdrop participants have spent ZERO money, and a few hours of their personal time engaging with the Deeponion community. They are now sitting on in the neighborhood of USD 10000 in Onions! If that is how scams work, please sign me up for more:)

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC fees exploding and BTC will crash down

The higher the fees climb the less use cases bitcoin will have. Im sure already a lot of people dont even want to move bitcoin about due to the fees. To get around it any trades ive wanted to do ive had to do with alts and then change back to btc, not the best work around. Is this what bitcoin was destined to be?
I've not dabbled in alts....is there no fee to buy BTC with an alt? If you convert BTC to alt, the maximum fee may be 0.1% or 0.2%, depending on the exchange. So many of the users are converting their BTC to alts such as BCH and ETH, and withdrawing these alts to another exchange using a low fee. Once the coins are deposited in the second exchange, they convert the alts back to BTC. The overall fee may be 1%, which is better than 4% or 5% which we need to pay while exclusively using BTC. Interesting, I guess that makes some good sense for smallish transfers - with the bigger transfers $5 bucks not being much percentage wise. So people are unofficially doing off chain transactions - they don't want to wait for Lightning to make things cheap!
