1  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] YABIF - Turbulent Market, Secure Investments on: October 16, 2012, 04:44:40 AM
I have only received an email saying my coins were sent. I have not received coins, or information on my share holders.

As soon as I do have information, I will be happy to formulate a plan for ongoing operations. I imagine some sort of wind down will have to occur, though I have no idea how I will start that. Mostly, I assume that I will use personal dividends and dividends from my shares to repurchase shares over time.

I am still kind of jealous that I did not receive a call from the SEC. It isn't fair. I am totally one of the big fish in this.
3  Economy / Securities / Re: {Bakewell} Get an equitable stake in a transparent & growing mining company on: October 01, 2012, 06:01:07 AM
Ian, you believed that your 4 bitcoins were in danger of being lost by being in CPA. You had no access to that money. Nothing has changed other than you are reducing the value that you perceived was at risk. He is giving the money back. This is an interpretation of the contract you signed.

What is the real problem here? The capital you had available to you has not changed, and you have secured what you think of as a better place for your investor's money.

Also, stop making those damn single posts with the smiley under them. They are fucking annoying.

Like everyone else, I just want to report that Victor held up his end of the bargain fully. Thanks!
Post thieving.

Huh?

It appears that there has been a recent trend in glbse motions for there to be problems with the voting. This has become apparent from the recent results for other companies in which there were more votes than there were shares. In light of this, our recent news of being bought by nyan may have been based on invalid data. Therefore, we will be waiting for news from Nefario on when this situation will be fixed. After that, we will evaluate what needs to be done as far as voting again, or going ahead with the sale.

The dividend for this week will as always be paid on Monday. Around 98% of our funds are invested in mining related enterprises. Current NAV is 1.011.

We remain unaffected by the closures of the various lending schemes, move to, goat, or obsi. Though I wish them and their investors all the best.

As someone who ran a black box fund, I have to say that Usagi gets a hell of a lot more scrutiny than I did. I think they are jelly of your size.

It was a joke at usagi's expense. Hence the "CPA."

Whoosh! Nice.
10  Economy / Securities / Re: How do cyclic funds work? on: September 30, 2012, 03:08:59 AM
Surely you did algebra at some point in your life. Substitute the definition of each into the third formula and solve.

c= .5a +1
b= .5c
a = .5b

1c= .125c +1
Solve.
.875c =1
c= 1.142857
b= .571
a= .2855

11  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nefario GLBSE on: September 26, 2012, 04:19:39 AM
I think it is pretty clear that there is no consensus that Nefario scammed anyone here.

Scammer,no. Breach of fiduciary duty to existing shareholders? Maybe...by not shutting down the fake shares and instead promising to honor them he damaged the other shareholders of the company and as can be seen this damage along with other recent acts has greatly harmed the company. I dont really know what to say about that as he has placed them in between a  rock and a hard place.

I think it was a fairly childish move to kick him off the exchange. I would have halted public trading instead. I haven't made any moves to pull my money off the exchange. The assets Goat ran were pretty worthless to begin with. They were just written off to zero ahead of time.

I think it was a long time coming. A lot of the trash that is on GLBSE needs to be cleaned out. I hope Nefario goes after Obsi next.

13  Economy / Securities / Re: [BMF] MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT INSIDE on: September 26, 2012, 02:17:48 AM
The solution is to peg the expansion of supply to the price, however doing so would kill the speculative value for holders. This would kill bitcoin faster than anything else.

Check out eclipse or eligius(sp). I am pretty sure they have much less in fees. could add 2% to output.

As far as the financial release goes, just the amount in each account, and the mhash rating we have will be fine. Anything more complicated will just waste your time. Based on the last dividend, we have about 1400 shares left to sell. Sounds like a good start to the ASIC fund to me. Smiley

Great idea in the motion. Do you think you could start providing an earnings report for us. Just how much we made every week, and how much we have saved in the growth account. I think it would be great for the company's share price if you would show us how strong the balance sheet is.

I bought, but I don't know who sold.

18  Economy / Securities / Re: [NEWS] Nyancat Financial Buys YABIF on: September 24, 2012, 06:28:45 AM
The sale has been approved by bond holders 48-10. I will be assisting Nefario and Usagi in any way possible in the coming days as each yabif share including my own will be replaced with a share of nyan.a.

20  Economy / Securities / Re: Looking to invest on GLBSE. What do I buy? on: September 23, 2012, 11:34:13 PM
I do not believe that Patrick has ever not paid someone when requested. I also think that he pays a reasonable interest rate on the deposits he takes. Remember though, it is a black box investment.
