21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian Law Would Send Bitcoin Users to Jail as Cybercriminals on: April 30, 2016, 08:55:34 AM
Basjcally it is just full of crap that the law will be efficient in combating crime. The whole thing is pseudonymous and no one knows the other party without really tracing it from third party service like exchanges.

To Russian Government you are too naive to think that banning Bitcoin usage will stop criminals. Be it a criminal or a civillian who wanted to adobt bitcoin, it is very easy to hide but hard to trace. Regulating just makes the bitcoin skyrocket. One word for you, Fuck you Stupid Russian Government
22  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The word "Bitcoin halving" on: April 23, 2016, 09:19:35 AM
Bitcoin halving is when miners receive half of the original bitcoin when a new block is mined. It started with 50 btc per blocks mined. Then at November 28, 2012 the first subsidy halving occur. Some speculate that the price will increase dramatically because of the supply deceases and demand increasing. Others say that the miners will lose profit and stop mining, causing it to drop. However there is not much changes happened. THe bitcoin halving happens every 4 years to control the supply of bitcoin. Maybe in year 2140 there will be no new bitcoin generated.

24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we trade Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: April 21, 2016, 07:40:31 AM
Maybe you can trade bitcoin by giving private key / broadcast file (you can broadcast it with any wallet) Roll Eyes
Or run small bitcoin network in LAN/WLAN

given the cayos happening in the world i wouldn't be surprised of nuclear war and in this case i would expect internet disruption question is how do we trade bitcoin during this time if we can't access internet.

home internet and mobile internet goes down

I can tell you if a nuclear war breaks out there are way more important issues to solve than Bitcoin!
Secondly if Internet goes down, several other markets and industries will go down as well!
The Internet is so widely used today, worldwide, that a total collapse would set us back for decades!

Yes, in fact fiat would go down along with the Internet.

Fiat still can running without internet, but it'll use old system (before internet exsit) which is inefficient (write & keep transaction in book)

It is still possible to keep all transaction in a handwritten ledger book. However please note that the fiat is debt based, and the government will almost collapse immediately because all currencies are dependant on each other like bitcoin depends on internet connection. It means fiat currency will cease to exist like bitcoin if internet is totally down. Then new prospects have to be made up to cover the loopholes of this, means no buying and selling things or more primitive barter system will be implemented. Internet is too important in sustaining the evolving of the whole world. I hope that internet will never shut down, otherwise it will cause a chaos
25  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: April 20, 2016, 02:32:21 PM
I invested to a so called bitcoin doubler service. Initially I just pumped in some satoshi and it paid back. However when I put more bitcoins on it, the service just did not pay me. Then I realised that I have been scammed, it is a ponzi scheme and learnt the lesson because I am still a freshman in this bitcoin.

My advice do not invest on services with Rate of Return that seems inpossible. Trust me I have lost my first BTCitcoin in there
26  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: April 17, 2016, 01:12:51 PM
If it is the case I will also put it in a wallet paper and secure it. I believe the price will fluctuate in the coming years. Who knows maybe a bitcoin equivalent to a million now. Also to note that there is no inflation rate like USD and other government controlled currencies.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tell me why Satoshi Nakamoto didn't spend a Satoshi from his 1 Mio BTC on: March 03, 2016, 09:19:12 AM
Maybe Satoshi is waiting for the coin to become mainstream before using it.
If he or she uses it now, it is very detrimental to the bitcoin price and the community and even the global economy. Bitcoin has raised attention not only the media but also the governments. I believe that some of the bitcoin users are tracking the wallets live. If the 1 million coin is liquidated then it will cause and oversupply sentiment. The bitcoin will literary crash. This is just my opinion
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some hard truth about Satoshi's identity on: January 30, 2016, 09:43:19 AM
We was so proud that Satoshi was probably from the UK. But it seems not.

The hard truth is that Satoshi is "North American, " if that's still in question.

We took some time to analyse, simple grammatical structures used, in his various 575 variants of informal posts. Here what we found.

"'-disablesafemode,'" - post 1. English (UK) version - "-disablesafemode, "

"realized" - post 15. English (UK) version - "realised"

"criticized" - post 20. English (UK) version - "criticised"

"minimized" - post 525. English (UK) version - "minimised"

I'm certain we could use this same trick to triangulate his location, but, that task is for someone else to accomplish - if at all necessary.

In my opinion, Satoshi is not just a person, it is a team of person partnered together privately without others knowing. The bitcoin maybe also owned by the partners but every one of the partners own a part private keys only. Even if you found one of the partners, you will unable to open the wallet. The reason Satoshi is still anonymous is because we do not have about information about it. Is it just a person, or a group, or even an AI surpassed the technology at that time created the bitcoin(although it is absurd.)
29  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoins safe? on: January 30, 2016, 09:34:43 AM
It depends on what aspect of safe are you saying.
If talking about currency usage and trading, I would say it is actually the same as using USD. I am not a financial expert, but if you see the condition now, an economic downturn even worse than Great Depression and Great Recession will happen if it is not settled properly. If the FED says that the US is down and bankrupt, maybe bitcoin and commodities like gold will see a steep rise in price. This is called capital flight. In another perspective, if no one believes in bitcoin, the investors will sell bitcoin in a huge amounts, and the price will just plummet. There is no certain way to pridict the market.
For the bitcoin wallet access, you just need to keep your private key private and preferably the key is in a offline hard disk, not on a computer. There are many resources for you to search in the internet to know how to keep your bitcoin wallet safe. Just GOOGLE it

30  Economy / Speculation / Re: BUY or SELL bitcoins ? What you prefer ? on: January 16, 2016, 06:23:19 AM
The price now, is $370. I don't know why the price is declining, but I know that it is time for me to buy. I believe that bitcoin price will double up this year. Grin
31  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: January 14, 2016, 07:35:42 AM
I was thinking about this, what if the US Dollar crashes like speculated by many renowned economists around the world?
What will be it's affects on the beloved currency, BTC?

Interesting question. Give that bitcoin is naturally tied up to the dollar in a certain way, I can't imagine what would happen. logically we should see the price of the dollar going down comparing to bitcoin, or should I say bitcoin would be worth even more dollars. but would that really happen?

There is a thing called capital flight, where they change their money to other type of assets like gold and in this case bitcoin. Most of the thing is based on USD, but f it crashes, the value of things will be based on other commodities like bitcoin or gold. The dollar bills is just a printed paper with no value.
32  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: January 14, 2016, 07:28:09 AM
For everything to become a mainstream, it needs to have a strong community with many people adopting it. It is easy to open a bitcoin wallet, and use it. I personally think bitcoin will replace the current fiat currency, just need time.
33  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn bitcoin for underage on: January 11, 2016, 07:37:06 AM
I am a 15 years old boy living in South East Asia region. I am new in bitcoin and is trying to understand it.
I am currently earning some satoshis from faucet. I would like to ask how to earn bitcoin other than faucet and gambling?
I do not need it fast but a stable income. Thanks

Bitcoin donation:

Hi and welcome. I suggest you don't ask for donations, as it is not permitted here. Asking how to make Bitcoin is like asking how to make fiat, you have to work for it, or exchange your fiat for BTC, which means you had to work for that fiat to begin with. Of course since you are underage, you can't legally work, but BTC doesn't care about age, so you can still get some. If you have any skills you could sell the skills online for Bitcoin.

In this forum, companies pay you for posting and promoting their business in your signature. For this you need a higher ranking in your account (to get any sort of relevant amount of money) and you also need to be able to speak basic english and some basic understanding of Bitcoin to get on the best campaigns. Other than that, I don't know any other way to get BTC that isn't basically exchanging it for fiat or for a skill. Good luck.

Noted. Thanks for the advice, I will not ask donation at bitcointalk. I know about signature campaign at here, but my rank is currently too low and need some time. Thanks anyway.
BTW where can I sell skills for bitcoin, maybe a website or a email. Much appreciated.
34  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn bitcoin for underage on: January 11, 2016, 07:32:37 AM
Why restrict yourself to bitcoins? Just look for a way to earn money, and then you can easily convert to bitcoins. Despite what others write, buying bitcoins is the fastest, easiest, and most convenient way to "earn bitcoins".

I can earn money by part time job at here. The problem is I do not have any payment method besides cash and there is no bitcoin dealers nearby. I just want bitcoin not cash. Anyhow thanks

37  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: November 14, 2015, 12:44:27 PM
If the dollar will crash it will make a big impact on the whole world

A lot of currencies are depending on the dollar

The impact will be entirely positive.  NO currencies depend on the dollar.  How could a currency depend on the dollar??  That makes no sense at all.

Actually every currency is dependent with each other especially in exporting goods. Country like Japan actually borrows money to develop their country and so on..
38  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: November 14, 2015, 12:40:14 PM
Actually, governments are fundamentally incapable of maintaining the value of their currencies. Everything is in debt even the ""mighty"" United States. The currency is competing with other fiat currencies like Euro and Yen and commodities like gold.

If the US dollar crashes, the whole currency fiat will be in anarchy. Every fiat currency is dependent with each other especially US dollar. If it collapses, the first thing is price of commodities like gold will rise sharply. But it will not probaoly lead to the collapse of society, maybe just a huge shift of political power and monetary policy.

In another view, foreign investor and country will stop demanding US dollar, US dollar bond falls, or another meaning that the interest rate will rise. Inflation rate will rise and leading it to another great recession. The government will print as much money to cover it up but the price of daily goods will rise, money in CDs, life savings, literary everything monetary will turn obsolete.

On the other hand, commodities like gold and cryptocurrencies especially BTCitcoin price will increase. These things are not tangible to any government or inflation rate. These things only change with supply and demand. If the US dollar falls and you had some bitcoins on hand, maybe you will become the next millionaire...

It is just my personal opinions.

Recently I received a e-mail from bitcoinalien claiming he have a secret that he used to earn bitcions. Then he shared a link to satoshibox.com stating the secret is in a file     with a fee of course. Should I believe and buy the file or not?

40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: November 11, 2015, 06:24:35 AM
Things stopping people from using bitcoin is because of the government. The decentralized policy makes most of the transaction pseudonymous, it is transparent but does not state the sender and receiver. Some of us does not believe that the bitcoin can change the way the currency works, just like the old days where no one believes in internet. Just need time for everyone to adopt it.

Actually it is a very complicated question and it is not solved by few answers, but need much survey and research. This is just my opinion..
