901  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX8A1 - 130/260 GHs Coincraft A1 board-389/807 EUR April on: April 09, 2014, 06:37:43 PM
Hi technobit is marto74 a month I came hex8a1 and is a month that I'm struggling to get it working by asking multiple times for help to Martin Sirakov results the miner has problems fixed light remains lit red and more than 20 GH -60/s can not undermine when it works.I then asked to replace the plunger around two weeks ago, you answered me shipped new hex8a1 I asked the shipping tracking no object has arrived and even the traking shipping!!!!!!I lost a month managed to undermine having paid the 1350 € per order hardware in January now the same hardware is 800 € and I find myself with the HEX8A1 not working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude can you explain what is wrong with the board?
This is your first post so if you can be more specific with details  there is some chance to fix it remotely
902  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 09, 2014, 06:05:27 PM
I will get a full working AMT 1.2T in a day or two. I am thinking about reselling it for 6k worth of BTC. I am in North NJ and available for meetup. This would be a good deal being that they sell for 15k on ebay right now.
Who buys them for 15k Grin
Besides you can always dump eBay price for let us say 10k and make 4k extra Grin
And first test the miner because you do not know if it is a full working one

I could take a really good video of it hashing, and also photos. Give it to the highest bidder. Bidding starts at $6,000.
I am interested to see the video but after a 24 hours of mining that is the trick Wink
All of us know how it works for 5 mins just after cgminer is started
Good luck to you and bidders
And if you want to make test fully transparent put your miner on eligius so bidders to be able to see the graph while bidding

If it comes soon, I will test it and let you know. I am pretty sure it works fine since mine is a full miner that AMT tested.
As we all know AMT can sate whatever they like.....do not take it as pure truth

906  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 09, 2014, 02:27:41 PM
Or take some urgent actions against AMT?
Yes it will be hard and probably it will not change your position at all and bring your money back, but it will change the situation for the feature.
And eventually Josh can go to jail in some point because that is what he deserves!
You have nothing to loose. It is your choice weather you will continue to act like victims or not!

Urgent actions such as? It would literally cost me more to retain a lawyer and bring a suit against AMT. That would be to get my funds back maybe a year from now. If they paid the collection agency I'd likely have to retain to get the money from them. Then of course the they will take their cut.

Depending on how I reinvest my bitcoins towards more power for mining, plus the anticipated increase in the price of bitcoin there is a very good chance I will make my investment back, if not profit. Especially because I've confirmed with FedEx that my miner has already shipped and will be here today or tomorrow.

I ordered when the website said my miner would ship by the 31st of  March so my miner is about 10 days late, or roughly one increase in difficulty. Does it suck yes. But unlike people who ordered for BFL I'll have my miner thursday.

The only other better situation I could be in would be if I ordered from cointerra when I first had my money and that would have been an april delivery anyway, and they haven't even hit their stated hash rates or power consumption either.

I certainly didn't pick the winning horse, which would have been holding my money then buying bitcoin when it hit this low price, or the placing horse, cointerra just based on their getting product to market quicker, but with a 10 day delay I picked the showing horse.

I wouldn't call that victimization. At least not in my case, but there are a lot of other people who bought from AMT under different circumstances than myself and were strung along for months.

Also aside from the investing, monetarily, aspect of bitcoin I wanted to be part of the bigger bitcoin world. In that my hardware is helping to grow the network because I believe in the idea of a decentralized currency and what it can bring to the world.

Now to address the idea of Josh going to jail me suing him wouldn't cause him any jail time. Thats not how the US justice system works, I'm not able to bring him up on criminal charges only the government can. So when my refund request was ignored I followed the next logical step which was a complaint ic3 and FTC. Those are bodies that have the power to bring AMT up on criminal charges.

A quick nod back to civil legal action though and you'll see in the lawyer in clennel's case is trying to certify a class of those who ordered from AMT and 1. didn't receive their hardware, 2. Received hardware late (myself) or, 3.  were denied refunds upon request ( I fall under this too).

So if the class is indeed certified I'm entitled to a portion of any of the money that the class may receive as a settlement or via the trial.  So it's pointless for me to spend money on an independent suit.
Sure dude. you are right. Every one is protecting his own interests.....
Good luck
And again pray to good that what you get will work.

THINK Guys
Just a week or two delay is bringing you to 0 almost
However AMT will do whatever it takes to add just a little more delays for you be sure about it

Hey Iosha, How are you helping with these comments? Seriously, some people are happy receiving their miner, some are still waiting, some are waiting for their REFUND. That's it.
miners will take years to run at 0% return unless electric cost booms
Really?

Huh??

w
your calculator says you get 5 btc in a year. thats crap.

i notice the high price you set your electricity cost at sjre you dont pay 25¢ per kw if you do your butt must hurt.

http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/bitcoin-mining-calculator/?h=1200.00&p=1400.00&pc=0.15&pf=0.00&d=6119726089.12815000&r=25.00000000&er=442.93000000&hc=5000

14000 dollar return on a 1.2 ths miner
Not crap dude
Difficulty is raising in 25% jumps constantly
What it means that you are fucked unfortunately
I will not argue with you ...
And you have just three months before this miner will not pay for electricity at current BTC/USD exchange rate
PERIOD!
And it is most likley that there will be at least a month delay so you are gona make 400 USD top

so you are telling me that in 3 month the 1.2th miner will not make £5.67 ($9.38) in electric costs per day working on our most expensive electric tariff lol
Not me dude. Numbers are telling it.
big pie is next month 500 usd which are going to AMT pocket.
The rest is for you decreasing every diff adjustment with 20-25% percent.
Friday nice
I missed that. Pray to good that it will work that is all i can say
As you see if you loose next two weeks of mining because your miner needs constant reboots or hanging or whatever technical issue might be you know...

911  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 09, 2014, 01:48:20 PM
........
if your waiting on your miner not paying the electric your waiting a long time. roughly speaking the 1.2 t uses 10% btc made daily on electricity and thats at this bismal price. if it was around the $5-600 mark again then it would be using only 3-4% btc made a day in electric. hard to guess but the machine will stop making elwctricity costs in about 5 Years if btc dif changes as it has. but by then the dif will hopefully have dropped due to ship jumpers and youll still make money.
What part are you missing dude

its nice to see a few more fellow miners are getting their tracking numbers through Smiley looks like AMT are shipping kits now at least
Yeah the truth of the crap will be reviled soon Grin

Ask for your money guys....That is best option for you

I'm confused as to why you think we didn't ask for our money.

Many of us did and were ignored.
Because you lost them already. Because what you are about to get eventually will be crap. Because you have dignity. Because 1000 other reasons
But this are your money so it is your decision only!

I'm thinking there is something lost in translation here.

So I'll say again, we did ask for our money. It was not given to us. We can not go up to them at gunpoint and ask for a refund. They denied the refund, so many people filed complaints with the federal agencies in order to get said money back. But that doesn't make the money magically appear in our wallets or bank accounts. Only the company can choose to refund us. And the choice they made was to ignore the laws that require them to give full and prompt refunds. They instead continued to stall and then shipped hardware. None of which was in our control as they had already decided to not refund us.

If that has changed I'll gladly turn right around and ship that miner (kit) back  in exchange for a full refund. ( even shipping at my own expense) Because I can then take that money and purchase more hashing power elsewhere.

Almost 2TH instantly on pb mining.

But the fact of the matter is they aren't issuing refunds to those who want them.
So nothing is lost in translation. Do you have dignity? Do you feel like a begging for refund?
I guess not, right?  What can you do?
Wait just a little bit longer when miner will not pay for electricity just because AMT is refusing to refund you? Or take some urgent actions against AMT?
Yes it will be hard and probably it will not change your position at all and bring your money back, but it will change the situation for the feature.
And eventually Josh can go to jail in some point because that is what he deserves!
You have nothing to loose. It is your choice weather you will continue to act like victims or not!

i ordered the 520gh model but ended up getting the kit so as i dont get a psu they gave me an extra board, putting me to 700-750ghs turbo (so they say)
the extra hash was for delays. so at least im one of the few that got some sort of compensation or mpp. my greif was never with the delays it was purely with the lack of communication. i placed my order on 30th January so i haven't waited half as long as others have with orders below me

Conclusion

You can make in short term no more than 300-400 USD profit. Having in mind that crap will hang and special care will be taken that is the wise investment made

I don't want to join the lawsuit either, AMT, but seeing people with order numbers higher than mine who are receiving miners while I eagerly try to figure out where mine are is not exactly helping your case. When will you be shipping my two 1.2s for order 899? And please don't say "soon" that answer doesn't fly

"Your orders are shipping shortly."

According to Joshua Zipkin, "shortly" means 3 months.
No it means just before the miner can not pay for electricity........

We were due to be on the expo today, booth 401, we were going to demo our 2.4's, but in light of this news we felt its best to go to Toronto instead.

This sentence doesn't make sense. It might be missing a "not". Or is that where Josh was driving last night?

correction

"We were due to be on the expo today, booth 401, we were going to demo our 2.4's, but in light of this news we felt its best not  to go and to go to Toronto instead.

Thanks for the correction. I thought that was what you meant but was not sure. Also thank you for the more regular updates. Being in the manufacturing business myself (I am one of those CNC guys you spoke of in a previous post) I can sympathize with your situation to some extent. It has been my experience that communication is key to a positive outcome.

How is the new back plane checking out by the way? Is it looking like it will solve some of the issues you have been dealing with?
this is a point i hope i recieved a rev 2 back plane and not a fud one
Do not hope dude ...there is nothing to hope
919  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 08, 2014, 03:55:53 PM
Regarding this suit.

First, we have not been served or sent any documents/legal papers, or formal notices of suit. Currently the plaintiffs legal team, but mostly Mr. Lenell has been calling around trying their hardest (again we believe mostly Craig Lenell) to get any media to publish this and credit this as legitimate, but more over the soul purpose is to notify AMT customers and ask them to get involved on their side, to accumulate the damages in question so hopefully they can win more from us. If enough people join, and the damages are enough to cover the potential winnings, we will be served.

If you'd like to join the class, please contact the legal team here: http://www.chimicles.com/

There are a few outcomes that will come of this civil lawsuit:

1. The plaintiffs win, and force the company into bankruptcy.
2. The plaintiffs loose, or the case is dismissed fairly quickly.
3. The case is tried for a long time, costing thousands in legal fees on both sides ( which the majority of the class will not contribute to ) by which time everyone's miner will already be delivered.

4. (most probable)  Mr. Lenell will annoy and harass the crap out of everyone involved, overstep his welcome and eventually piss people off until they are fed up with him and quit. <- this one we know from experience.

Are we worried? Sure we are, we've given our hearts and best efforts to this business.

Are we going to drop everything, stop building/shipping miners and dedicate our time to lawyers and this case like Mr. Lenell has. No we wont, its not our style. We have a job to do, and we're going to finish it one way or another, period. We were due to be on the expo today, booth 401, we were going to demo our 2.4's, but in light of this news we felt its best to go to Toronto instead.

No one believes you anymore.
i do! :-P and i even still get rick rolled.

Well, then you sir are an idiot (no offense). What do you have to show for your 6k spent? Please enlighten me.

We shipped his rig yesterday, we're trying to find his tracking number in the moment.
Yah trying to dig it amongst thousand of tracking numbers Grin

Hi,

Thanks for the hint! Not sure if I'm brave enough to go to 1050 Wink Don't want to overheat the miner.
Atm it's running well with 250 and 950mV, hashrate dropped a little bit to 128GH/s, HW errors are only about 0.18% - at least for me these values seems to be fine  Smiley
