Mirrax is not talking about Nexus and looks like every one that was once discussing about it and very excited already got out and found a new one. Do you guys still hold it or sold it already?
Hold $NXS, when they launch their rockets with the satellites $100 easily! I still have some and bought more on the last dip. This is a coin with a lot of future value, long term hold!

It's amazing to think that only a few months ago it seemed that the general consensus about storj was of a failed product, with a fractured team and about to be overtaken by sexy new ICO's like Sia.
I bought Storj in the original ICO nearly four years ago and was really puzzled by this attitude. It's one of the few coins with an actual working product! Which is improving day by day.
Keep on rolling!
I have to say, awhile back I started looking into the "storage" coins and bought a little of each to play with and learn about. Storj really seems to be pulling ahead and Ive almost decided to double down and buy more. I just need to get somethings in line first. This really is the best usable product in the space!

Is there something wrong in the last conference to do a 92k sat to 13k just after...It was not a pump and dump...so i don t understand
Everything was wrong with the conference. Paid speakers like Jesse Ventura never even endorsed the coin. Ron Paul, the headliner, stood up and said "I never heard of Nexus until they called me to speak at the conference" or something like that. It was a total abortion. Instead of focusing on the tech behind Nexus the developers would rather waste time and money on some libertarian pipe dream that most people will just laugh at. Nexus, Bitcoin, Litecoin or any other coin will never go anywhere without people moving it. It will never hit mass adoption without mass public acceptance. To get there you need more than just the dev team involved. The Nexus conference brought together a lot of different people in all walks of life over a common medium. They brought in people who had never heard of Nexus as well as some who were against crypto in general (dont quote me on that,; it may not be totally accurate). The conference was 100% everything it should have been!

USB mining is a complete waste of time. You can make more money by going to a shopping center and looking for pennies in the parking lot.
Hey, thats my line!!

Im not sure how it works in the code but would it be a good suggestion to add an option to the wallet like "shutdown" or "remove" in that you select this before permanently shutting down a node. This could flag the data on the network and allow it to be replicated on other nodes before its lost on your node.
Well it seems it doesn't matter whether we flag the data or let the network know that we're about to shut down/go offline because replication of data Is designed into the Storj code, rather inefficient if you look at it, I don't know if it was Storj or Sia but anything more than double is inefficient and by Double I mean one for the main storage and the second one as a backup, centralized storage providers only replicate the data once not 5 times as it is With the decentralized storage providers. what if there is one Exabyte of data = 1 million Terabyte, the code is designed to store 6 Exabyte instead of 2 if that's the case then centralized storage is 3 times more efficient than what we call distributed cloud. unless Storj tries to store only one copy of the Data as backup and implements a collateral system like Sia. Im not sure thats accurate. Id assume most (if not all) centralized cloud storage providers have some sort of RAID on all their servers so its replicated there. Id also assume they have data replicated between two physical servers at least (possibly in different data centers) at minimum plus a backup on tape or similar.

I have more than 7000 offers but people only stored 40GB on my drive after 4 days of connection with 180 peers, I have a port with 1gbps but the
Client seems to work so slow. what happens if I shut down my system with that 40GB stored on my drive and never come back online? if the data is
Not lost and anyone stored some data with me will have their data safe on other drives seems like there are a lot of space being wasted just like the
Way Bitcoin mining works, miners compete for a block but only one miner gets the block. now for me it's a small space but what happens when this
System grows big, talking about 1 million TB, with that kind of storage space can we really store 6 million TB as data shards to make sure all the data
Is accessible without any down time?
If your node goes down the data will get replicated on other nodes. There isn't only once copy of the data there are multiple. So doesn't matter if your node goes down someone else will have the pieces you store on other nodes. Im not sure how it works in the code but would it be a good suggestion to add an option to the wallet like "shutdown" or "remove" in that you select this before permanently shutting down a node. This could flag the data on the network and allow it to be replicated on other nodes before its lost on your node.
