Check what port you have written down in your appdata folder.
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BBQCoin, the coin you want to eat. on: May 04, 2013, 07:36:45 PM
The client at bbqcoin.org has not been altered in anyway for months and I have just synced fine with the blockchain.

Did you download the client from anywhere other than bbqcoin.org?

No, it was from BBQcoin.org

Which port are you using? I use 59332.

How long ago was the last time you fired up your client?

Just to get everyone on the same client here and not some altered one. The original source code on Cubox's GitHub, the creator of BBQcoin, clearly states in the included readme file that the pre compiled Windows Client is on bbqcoin.org.

This should be the only place that you download the client from, so that you know you are using a safe client or not an altered one.

My blockchain seems to be hung up updating on block 392813.

Have a message at the bottom of the client that says:

WARNING: Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade.

Anything I can do about this? I need my client to update so I can start mining

Where did you download the client from please?
890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WTB] 100,000 BQC with 10 BTC on: May 04, 2013, 05:20:40 PM
No thank you.

Looking for the whole lot for this purchase.

Thanks.
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WTB] 100,000 BQC with 10 BTC on: May 04, 2013, 05:09:01 PM
10 BTC is hardly cheap. BQC could go either way, this is a gamble for me but BTC is not a gamble really for the seller.
892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [WTB] 100,000 BQC with 10 BTC on: May 04, 2013, 05:01:04 PM
Hi there,

I want to buy 100,000 BBQcoins with 10 BTC's.

Seller will send the BQC first and then I will send the BTC's on confirmation of the BBQcoins.

Many thanks.

894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBQcoin giveaway thread!! 50 for every BBQ address. on: May 04, 2013, 12:31:20 PM
50 BQC's on a giveaway?

Don't you think this will reduce the worth of this coin?

The block reward is 42 coins, so you are giving over a block of coins away for free.
895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BBQCoin, the coin you want to eat. on: May 04, 2013, 11:08:14 AM
