61  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Dominance Update on: May 04, 2021, 09:27:39 AM
Not just Bitcoin dominance decreasing day by day, ETH dominance is gaining everything which has been taken out of BTC. Most of the non-pumped coins are taking huge momentum. I am still afraid that if BTC starts moving then everything will fall like a house of cards. I am selling my alts at this moment because we all know how alt season turns out every time.  Roll Eyes
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your seed? on: May 03, 2021, 05:07:42 PM
I wrote the seed in a paper, laminated it and put it in a capsule and the capsule has been stored in my fireproof vault. I guess it's one of the better ways to keep your seed. Might not be the safest but it's an ok plan.

By reading the messages here, I can say that people have done some splendid things to save their seeds, learnt some new ways..
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano overthrow Ethereum? on: May 03, 2021, 03:25:39 PM
I never had a doubt on ETH until BNB came in, I'm sure most of the people in crypto community would agree with me. Binance brought what people wanted at this moment.. less fees, higher trust and more opportunities to get rewards by holding it.

But ETH is on the move now and it feels like it'll go to moon sooner or later, so my trust in eth is regaining..
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB to $1k? on: May 01, 2021, 11:37:47 AM
With tweets like this, CZ is really making people get into BNB.
https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1388317888612732938

Also, Binance is bringing new ways to support BNB holders and people are understanding the advantages of it. I don't think there is any competition for the BSC chain and BNB holders are getting more and more power.

RCB back to their form? I mean their poor form! Grin

LOL.. I just hope that this defeat doesn't start a new trend for them. The captaincy was very poor. Harshal Patel had proved very expensive during the end overs in the previous matches and still Kohli asked him to bowl two out of the last three overs. And he conceded an eye-watering 40 runs from those two overs. And this was despite Kyle Jamieson having one over left. Even Mohammed Siraj bowled only 3 overs, and had one over left. I don't know what was going on in Kohli's mind at this point. Else Punjab Kings would have got restricted to somewhere around 150.
I don't know why Kohli sent Harshal Patel to bowl even though Mohammad Siraj and Kyle Jamieson had 2 overs left. This was the biggest wrong decision of the match and this is why they lost. Moreover, Virat Kohli has batted very slow in the powerplay. We expect more responsible batting towards him. It is difficult to win a match if you go down to bat for 180 runs and bat so slowly.

Again the team is getting dependent on one single batsman or a bowler which is the same mistake RCB does every year. They have to work as a team and until then, they will be an entertainer in the IPL rather than Winner. RCB was winning until their bowling performance was good and when that fails, it will be too hard for them to win.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nexon Purchases $100 Million Worth of Bitcoin on: May 01, 2021, 09:15:56 AM
Lol, never expected a cash-grabbing Nexon to buy Bitcoins. But they have so much money, the amount is like chump change.

I doubt they'd be adopting the tech though, just riding the wave for some quick buck.

I too felt the same from this deal. The gaming community might be a good supporter of the crypto community but these companies are basically here to ride the wave and make some money with it. Also, they could have implemented crypto as a payment processor but they just bought BTC rather than using it.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RUMOUR: Facebook will announce they hold #Bitcoin on: April 30, 2021, 11:53:03 AM
But there is some truth to every rumor. Perhaps Libra is being considered internally and Bitcoin is the way to go. We will see.
There is no truth to the rumor, people always shill and certainly it is to create a hype and Facebook did not report any BTCitcoin holdings and many are not aware that Facebook changed the name of the Libra project to Diem and so that is the development that is going on with the project which means no one really cares about what they do unless they launch something meaningful for the cryptocurrency market.

I too felt it was a no-truth shill because no one can tell this in advance. Also, Facebook has burnt its hands in the past by jumping into "LIBRA". I don't think they will do something like this. Even if they hold BTC, they won't announce it. The tech giants are holding crypto, that's for sure but they won't announce until they feel they can defend their move.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 1inch Network - a distributed network for decentralized protocols on: April 30, 2021, 07:03:58 AM
Frankly speaking, I had lost all faith in exchange coins as I had bought all of the exchange tokens and they nose-dived after the last bull run. I am still at a loss with the BTC pair for some of the tokens. But I regret that I couldn't buy more 1inch tokens when they were below 8k satoshi price. The ATH for 1inch is above 16k sat and hopefully it will go beyond that soon.
69  Economy / Speculation / Re: 50K on the way and I am Still Alive on: April 28, 2021, 09:04:45 AM
I AM STILL ALIVE
Started this topic back in those days
Topic is Locked but just wanted to inform all of those friends who were concerned about my whereabout
I AM STILL HERE
&
50 K is ON THE WAY

It is definitely an achievement to predict that and in 8 years it hit the target. I wanna ask, what was your age at that time..? Because it looked like you were in a rage or something, usually in my country we talk like this when we are betting hard on something. What was the reason behind that..?
Eager to know..  Shocked
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is good. It’s hard to persuade parents to invest in it. on: April 28, 2021, 08:53:53 AM
I would suggest you learn from them and implement it in your crypto trading, it will be near to impossible to make parents understand about crypto and altcoins and their sudden growth. Most of the stock traders won't understand how to deal with crypto, especially senior citizens or parents. They all feel that crypto is something that is just a scam or not trustworthy.
71  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the Best Time to sell ? on: April 28, 2021, 08:31:51 AM
If you have sold your coins already then you are regretting it probably by now. There is no "Best time to sell", it's all about your strategy and convenience. If you want the money for something or you are at a good profitable point then it is good to sell.

The price fluctuation recently was too high and 20-30% pump/dump is happening within a 6-12 hour candle. Might not be a good time to sell.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where does Elon and Saylor store their bitcoins? on: April 28, 2021, 05:37:30 AM
In any case, you are unlikely to ever know where they store their funds.

Agreed. However, blockchain analytics companies similar to Chainalysis and other Chinese, European blockchain analytics might find those addresses in time. It can be very hard for anyone to be anonymous against exchanges who employ of those type of services.

I too thought the same, Data scientists will find a way to track down the ledger and recognize the addresses which are holding Elon and Micheal's BTC. But I don't feel it will be any use for the common public as these will be cold wallets.

There are many others who are keeping their crypto in hardware wallets and cold wallets which we might never know of.
73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 27, 2021, 06:03:06 PM
In today's matche. DC won the toss and chooseto bowl first. RCB was able to collect a huge 171 runs in the devastating batting of AB de Villiers. I think this run is enough to win the match, if RCB's bowlers do their duty properly. Let's see what will happen.
It is sad that AB de Villiers retired from International cricket and for a player who retired years ago and still bat like this is incredible and South Africa need him in the team to mentor the young generation and win matches atleast in the shorter format. I did not expect RCB to reach anywhere near 171 runs and AB de Villiers scored 23 runs in the last over and he changed the match single handedly.
AB de Villiera's devastating batting in the last over seemed to impress everyone. He has hit 3 great sixes. At the end of 8 overs, DC collected 520runs losing 3 wickets. So far the match is completely under the control of RCB. Hopefully RCB will not be defeated today.
Its still 50/50 in my opinion, because DC needs 63 from 32 balls with 6 wickets.

Pant is the key man if he wants to win this match and its going to be very interesting from now on in my opinion.

Even Rishabh Pant could not save Delhi from drowning in this match. It was a heart throbbing match and all of the RCB fans like me were on our toes. Still I would give more credits to Siraj because it is not easy to bowl in the death overs. Am happy as my bet won and RCB didn't got into a loosing streak.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will alts like vechain still gain? on: April 27, 2021, 09:48:19 AM
I cant give assurance about XRP as the case against them from SEC is going on and although the community support is with XRP, it will be harder once there will be actions.
Whereas VET is really promising for me, I had bought it at 85 sat price which was quite high when I bought it but it is already 3-4x. Also, the project is really long term so hoping for it to go up suddenly is hard. Once the transactions get started on the chain and VET starts to burn, that's when the coin will kick in.
75  Economy / Speculation / Re: 6 reasons why you should buy Bitcoin right now (at USD 50K-53K) on: April 27, 2021, 08:52:44 AM
Who will not buy with an asset that is already proven that can be a store of value, big companies have already proven it, especially Tesla, Microstrategy which recently Tesla tested their Bitcoin balance sheet if it can be liquidated easily, and viola, they able to do it with Bitcoin, not with fiat.
Speaking of scarcity, this is one of the best things for me, it's likely that Bitcoin is created just to UP only the price.

Yes, that's right! in the words of Elon, it makes more sense to store money in the form of Bitcoins rather than keeping it as cash. With Tesla and several large companies accepting Bitcoin, the demand for Bitcoin would naturally increase.

I feel it will be harder than ever for Bitcoin to go below the 48k-45k$ price, many of the "Institutional buyers" or companies like Microstrategy are waiting to increase their holding in BTC. The average price of all their BTC holding is still below 27k$ and we have seen them buying even at 52k$ price. By looking at the charts, it looks like there are some more entities like MicroStrategy who are waiting for the opportunity to get in.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DENT! A hidden gem on cryptocurrency? Checkthis out! We are on TOP 100! on: April 27, 2021, 04:59:04 AM
WOHOO ! shoutout to DENT !
i also bought my DENT when this coin is still very cheap, i bought them last year only $0.000216, but as we can see in the market,
the price of DENT already hit $0,01119, this is a huge development from DENT, just only in 24hours, the price going up about 28%,
DENT is the real hidden gem in cryptospace !

Congratulations to you, it's definitely a good amount of profit. But I would disagree with the fact that DENT is a "GEM" coin, it's not. The team hasn't shown any development in their idea as well as there is a lot of allegations against them of doing insider trading as well as selling their own coin. Their product is still not ready even after 2-3 years and they are just riding the crypto wave. There are many coins like this and all are trying to hype and pump.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I die can someone achieve my btc. on: April 27, 2021, 04:17:17 AM
It's easy, from now on you can give any information to access your wallet account to your wife. You don't need to feel suspicious or anything to your own wife regarding the bitcoin balance you have, because only by giving you all the access you want, then if you die first your wife can continue. This case will be different if you have to share it with your child or siblings, but if it is your wife then there is nothing to worry about.

Your wife should be your partner in anything you do, unless you have trust issue with your wife that's the problem where you need to find someone who you really trust.
Simply give them all the instrustions about your assets, from your wallet and to how to access everything. In case you died unexpectedly your bitcoin asset are safe.
They can achieve and claimed all those money that you are keeping inside your crypto invesment.

Everything boils down to one single feeling, TRUST. It's really hard for bachelors and if someone knows about your wealth then they can play games to get near you or marry you and then betray you with your hard-earned money. People who have a wife or have a long-term relationship can trust their partner to share this vital information. I would say having trust is the only thing in between losing your crypto when you die or passing it to your dependents.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Uniswap (UNI) good for investment? on: April 26, 2021, 06:23:55 PM
Being the dex on ethereum is not of a great value at this moment, every coin is doing great with green candles right now so we can't say that UNI is great for future or anything. If the transaction fees gets low then it might have a future but till then I'll go to uniswap only as a last resort trading.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will TRX go to new ATH on: April 26, 2021, 11:26:40 AM
I sold 25% of my TRX holding at 235 Satoshi price as I was thinking that it might go down to 150-160 satoshi range again. On the daily chart it is consolidating right now and may not drop below 200. I think the next leg up will be 400+ satoshi and there will be heavy resistance there. The hype with TRX is good but Justin Sun is infamous for doing fake promotions.
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 26, 2021, 09:38:43 AM
The last over of the match turned so expensive for Royal Challengers Bangalore. End of 19th over CSK has scored 154 runs. RCB might've expected a score around 165-170 runs, because Harsh Patel have bowled well in the first three overs giving 14 runs taking 4 important wickets. The last over took the score above 190. This itself a pressure for RCB. Jadeja made a fantabulous cricket.

I think that one last over cost RCB more than the whole innings of CSK. 160-170 was a moderate score on that pitch but Sir Jadeja took the momentum from RCB, even Devdutt was not able to play his game and was hitting off shots. Also the strong middle order of the RCB couldnt connect, the strength of RCB was its batsmen, they failed and team lost their first match this season.
