381  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN going up or down on: April 12, 2016, 07:56:24 AM
bitcoin will go up, bitcoin bazzar .org now avaible and open for bussines, also in near time we will see block halving. i think this is can make bitcoin up, rise and rise again .

Certain things as the launch of open bazaar are nice, but the impact on the price is very limited (if any at all). It's the block halving that is very much needed here as the supply and demand levels need to come closer to each other, which isn't really the case now as there is more supply than actual demand.
Yes Bitcoin will of course going up, but the question is when it will go up and that is the problem there are a lot of people that is waiting for a good price increase so they can sell it.
But some people dont have even the patience for it and some are selling it too early and that is bad.
382  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: April 12, 2016, 07:52:23 AM
The most people are thinking that Bitcoin will have a great future later and that is because they see that there are more people is using it and that Bitcoin is also more acceptable.
And if it is more acceptable than there will be more people that will use Bitcoin and that is good.
383  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: April 12, 2016, 07:49:07 AM
To doubling your Bitcoins you have to be smart and just be safe, and dont spend it to stupid things because that can be wasted and that can be bad if you are doing that.
Just hold it and trade a bit so you can earn a little bit profit.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official BitBay Thread |Smart Contracts Wallet UPDATE|Decentralized Marketplace on: April 10, 2016, 10:30:07 PM
The connection issue is now solved.  Smiley
The nodes that are hard coded into the QT wallet needed to be manually restartet after server maintainance
I have no problem. Thanks for the nodes.

I got no problems either.
Just a question. How long will the old wallet be usable. I've been using that one from the start and i become a little bit emotional to depart from it.
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Dollar on: April 10, 2016, 10:21:18 PM
In this moment I prefer to carry out my daily transactions with dollars, because the current possibilities to cover my daily needs with bitcoin are very limited. Additionally the American dollar has an international prestige that can facilitate any transactions at any place in the world.

Yeah the dollar offers way more possibilities to spend then bitcoin. This will change by adoption, but in general the dollar will always be
more usable (in offline payment f.e.)
386  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: April 10, 2016, 10:13:04 PM
If you really need the money then perhaps you can better sell it.
But with the current price and the halving coming up I would say don't do it. It's a bad time to sell right now.
387  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: April 10, 2016, 10:07:56 PM
i think it is possible for the price to go above 800, this year could be the best year of last 2 years for bitcoin
based on what, you think Bitcoin can grow over $800 this year? Or is it pure wishful thinking?

No way, right now the price is just half of that. Thinking it will reach more is not wishfull thinking it is naive thinking...
Not going to happen..
388  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: April 10, 2016, 10:06:45 PM
I will better choose both .but if it depends on thread or only one to choose ,I choose bitcoins because bitcoin have more potential but both of them have a great value in the future.

Going for both forms of investing is a wise decision. Because in above quote it's been just described about growth, it has also the possibility to fall.

id just go with gold only, and earn bitcoin through other ways.

eventually the gold will bring for solid returns to buy yourself into bitcoin thats the idea.

When it comes down to solid returns and stability gold is the way to go.
Bitcoin is quite risky to depend on it solely, therefore i never keep my bitcoin holdings over 20% of my total holdings.
389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin hit $600 this year or down to $200? on: April 10, 2016, 10:00:06 PM
I don't check the TA of the price, but my gut feelings says we will see both 300 usd and 600 usd this year.
Not sure which will come first but my guess it will happen anyway.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League Prediction Thread (Primeira Liga) on: April 10, 2016, 09:58:07 PM
Many people here predicting Braga win easily but in fact Moreirense scored the first. The remaining 10 minutes of the match Braga scoring opportunity because one of the players Moreirense given a red card

My friend told me that Braga would win, but I was against it. Moreirense is not a good team, but you should never underestimate them.
I think they have a good chance now.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin of 2016? on: April 10, 2016, 09:51:34 PM
Right now ETH is taking the lead, but i think for 2016 LISK has made a great start.
Thing is will they be able to keep getting volume and hyping it?
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand the altcoin market? on: April 10, 2016, 09:43:04 PM
You as a beginner, it is better to train on the C-Cex and the like.
on Poloniex, many automated trading robots, so you do not have time to sell at 62 when buying 60.

That doesn't make sense. When you buy make a sell order instantly.

The altcoin market is not really to understand. There are mostly pump & dump group active and if you buy at a low price and are patient you can earn big or lose your initial investment.
393  Economy / Speculation / Re: is it time to sell? on: April 10, 2016, 09:40:46 PM
I don't think this is the right time to sell, its better to hold for some more time and sell at the time of halving to enjoy higher profits.

This moment is not a good moment to sell. Reason why I think that is that the halving is just next door.
Just wait a few more months and if nothing has happened to the price, perhaps it is a good time to sell.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 10, 2016, 09:35:42 PM
Longer term, the probability of negative scenarios is larger than that of the positive
I disagree.
Monero has a 74% chance of succeeding.  You can hang your Kelly hat on that!

74%? how can you say 74? why not 76?

LOl it is just a wild guess. Not based on any solid information. I like the fact that monero is here for a long time sure.
But there is no guarantee it will succeed.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a new gambling website stand out? on: April 09, 2016, 07:25:08 PM
All business are the same at the fundamental level of "what makes them stand out". They key is simple: make the people feel like they are getting something with your business that they cannot find on the competition. This can go from better rates, to a better looking website, to free bonuses... and of course, invest money in marketing. Marketing is key!!

Something new as in new kind of games
A look & feel which should look trustworthy so people will deposit money without being afraid you scam them.
Volume, people like people, so the more active the easier a visitor will stay on the site and start playing.

New elements in a site makes up for a lot. Even being new. I guess most new gambling sites are launched to make a quick profit for scamming.
Which is quite naive. The moment you can a good gambling site you are sure earn quite some money on fees etc.
396  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: April 09, 2016, 07:20:04 PM
yeah, 2016 might be a big year for bitcoin because a lot of people will get interested in it because of bitcoin block reward halving when the amount of bitcoins rewarded will be cut by half

i hope that this event will make people push the price of the bitcoin to the moon and that we will reach a new all time high that will allow people to make some good money

I would not bet on the halving being a way to become rich. I stronly feel the price eventually will stay the same.
Just like we have seen before when the other halvings occured

I heard somewhere that price will increase to 600$ = 1btc,but i really don't belive on it too. Price will increase for sure anyway but slowly like in past times.

Yeah if the price will go to 600 dollars it would be great. But the halving will not make sure this will happen.
Why, that's quit easy the last halving not happend to the price.
397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: April 09, 2016, 07:16:28 PM
Sure some people can't handle the game and make sure to lose their money. Which is their own fault offcourse.
However it is sad that they will blame a game for losing loads of money. Because the addicting aspect of gambling is not so much the money but the greed for money
398  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: April 09, 2016, 07:11:53 PM
I would quit my job if i had enough bitcoins to make a good living.
But right now i am in the accumulating fase. Which means either some good paying job is needed or some big bonus.
399  Other / Off-topic / Re: When is Bitcoins going to die? on: April 09, 2016, 07:07:17 PM
How will bitcoin die? If it is still growing and growing. Every day more and more people start using bitcoin. So no it would not make sense for bitcoin to die suddenly.
400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: April 07, 2016, 03:28:21 PM
Is their any safe methods to gamble? Means without losing much of our money can gamble?

Any tips or suggestions?
I think not the odds are just always against you that is how gambling works. You can be safe with sport betting if you bet on the better team the chances are greater that you will win but you will win less money.
