61  Other / Off-topic / Re: When is it useful to borrow bitcoin? on: September 20, 2016, 08:40:10 AM
Borrowing any kind of money is never super useful and efficient cause it always costs money aswell setting you back etc.
If you a running a business and need a little bit more capital with a sure return of profit then borrowing is great cause it makes you able to take the oppurtunity which you couldnt take otherwise.

Yep borrowing bitcoin or any money for that matter is never the most smart decision just if you really need it.
I'd remember the option only borrow when there's is completely no other option left. Borrowing cost money and gives stress for paying it back.
62  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoins safe? on: September 20, 2016, 08:36:09 AM
I think bitcoin is safe against criminals etc I don't think casinos and other investments which hold your bitcoin are safe though.
Either they get really hacked or they lie and scam you and run with your money saying they got hacked which isnt true actually.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: September 20, 2016, 08:32:15 AM
Ofcourse you should believe in bitcoin and if you ask that on this forum you will most likely get biased answers anyways seeing as this is a bitcoin forum and most opinions are not really objective from what i've read so far. I'd believe in bitcoin if I were you I do think they will become very big.
64  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: September 20, 2016, 08:28:18 AM
for now I'm using it as an currency to buy some extras on the internet because I dont know where to invest it and I dont have any trading skills at this moment . hoping this year that I can use bitcoin as an investment so that I can have extra money to use in real life.  Grin
Lol I think if you do not know where to invest bitcoin and how much you want to invest I think you just need to hold the course in your bitcoin wallet and wait for prices to rise. you have to have is patience I'm sure you will benefit from this investment? why do not you try it?
Yeah if one doesn't have knowledge of trading and investment then the best thing is to hold them for future, no doubt holding will not grow your coins but if price goes higher in future you can earn good profits from it.

Yes, for a newbie who are new to bitcoin I think holding a great way to do. Because if they have long known bitcoin, then later they will also know about trading. Due trading requires knowledge and experience about the market analysis. hehe

But it is also going to be a good thing if a newbie is going to know how to use his bitcoin for real life as a currency for sure he is going to be encourage if he ever manage to use it as a currency. And of course at the same time it is also better if he is going to hold some of the portion of his bitcoin so that he can have his own investment.

There is no complexity in using it as a currency, they can use it wherever they want, but as a newbie they might not be aware that which is the right place to invest their coins.

Most people that get into bitcoin, do so because they think it will increase in value in the future. Most people treat Bitcoin as an investment and not as an actual currency, and that is ok. People should be free to do so.

Until the usage is more mainstream and people get paid in Bitcoin, it doesn't make much sense to pay with Bitcoin for most of the stuff out there when fiat is enough. Sometimes it is very useful for certain services, but most of the everyday stuff can be paid in fiat.

Yeah if you have enough fiat in order to pay your bills it is better to use that than to use bitcoin, since I personally have no doubt that bitcoin is going to increase in value.

Indeed I'd let my bitcoins rest and not touch them until they are really high. Right now using 1 bitcoin doesn't mean using 600 dollar it means using a potential 1k+ since it has the power to reach that point atleast who knows even higher.
65  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: September 20, 2016, 08:24:23 AM
Bitcoin wallet seems more logical to pick cause with that you have all the control yourself and zero to the bank. If you are using a bank then essentially they own your money and will even ask where it's coming from etc leaving no privacy at all.

67  Other / Off-topic / Re: Average Age of Bitcoin users on: September 15, 2016, 10:38:27 AM
Definitely, average age would be 22-30. its the age at which most of us search for an alternative source of earning. Its quite natural bitcoin is the best source of earning today

I guess the average age of the users is between 18 -30 years.
The average age of the whales/large investors should be 40+

Both hold a great importance to bitcoin and  that regard are very important for a steady growth.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: September 12, 2016, 02:21:34 PM

69  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone booked profit when btc touched $ 400 ? on: September 12, 2016, 02:17:27 PM

I was sold my bitcoins 2 days ago before falling in $400. I have only 70% profit from my bitcoins.
It happened what im expecting. According to the trader from outside the price should be reach $500 after that the price will fall, i was thinking it so i decided to sold my bitcoin to real money to gain a profit no matter what happens.

70% profit is quite a lot of money, the absolute value depends on your capital. it is very difficult to sell at the top around $500 as we do not know it was the top then.
Do you have any plan to buy back your bitcoin?  At what price?
Off course allot of people booked profit with 400 dollar bitcoins because i know the price of the bitcoin is 600 dollar right now so what you say is right they booked allot of profit for sure!

What will you do with 21 BTC? How will you spend it? How will you grow it? Share anything you want that may help me to decide what should i do. Smiley

74  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2.5 Years in Bitcoin and still holding. on: September 12, 2016, 08:10:40 AM
These are the people who i hate the most peopel who are just holding bitcoins for nothing because they dont make money with it and they crash the price of the bitcoin the best!

77  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: September 12, 2016, 07:58:32 AM
However, isn't the value of bitcoin almost always going to go up so its best to hold it?

In theory it should being a deflationary currency, but it all depends on supply and demand.

I know last year it was $600 and the highest was when it was more than $1000 per bitcoin.  But since it is all the way down to $200-$300, isn't having bitcoin always good?

Again, in theory the halving should push the value up but that also depends on what the demand for coins is like.

Could bitcoin go all the way to 0 soon?

It could go to zero or less than $100 but probably wont anytime soon and hopefully never.

In general, isn't holding BTC always a good thing since the price of it is pretty low now?  Obviously if you bought btc at $600 or $1000 and thought it would went up and held on to your btc, that would been a disaster.  But since its in the $200-$300 range, isn't having BTC always good?

The price is very low and bitcoin hasn't reached even a small percentage of it's potential so the potential for it to rise dramatically or go back to around $1000 is very good in my opinion though we may need patience.
Holding bitcoins on a long time is not good for the price of the bitcoin but it can be profitable for you but i dont know wich amount you bought them for you know that is really important.
78  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you know other big forums where can i sell digital goods ? on: September 12, 2016, 07:54:29 AM
Bitcointalk is no tht eonly forum where you can get allot of information about the bitcoin or where you can do such things as this there are more of this websites you only need to search for it,
79  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you expect prices to fall on: September 12, 2016, 07:51:00 AM
The predictions about the bitcoin when doe you ecpect the price to fall i dont think that would be very easy because you will never know what the price of hte bitcoin will do.
80  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: September 12, 2016, 07:46:04 AM
The bitcoin wont get a nice future for sure because there are to many peopel quitting with the bitcoin when the amount of bitcoins has reached and the price will eb stable for sure!
